Title
Killer Wife Shoots Husband While He's on the Phone With 911—Then Says Her Kids Don't Have a Dad
Description
A husband calls 911 from his garage. Before help can reach him, the emergency line captures the confrontation that would become critical evidence in his wife’s murder trial.
On September 8, 2021, Collin Turner and his wife, Bree Kuhn, had already been the subject of multiple calls for law enforcement assistance. By the third call that evening, Turner was in the garage and speaking with 911. What happened next would leave him dead and investigators with evidence Bree did not initially realize they had.
When Bree later sits down with detectives, she explains why she says she shot her husband and describes the moments leading up to the shooting. But investigators have something powerful against which to test her account: the third 911 call.
In this episode of Evidence Lab Interrogation, watch the police interview unfold as detectives examine Bree’s timeline, challenge key details of her account, and gradually confront her with what was captured while Collin was still connected to emergency dispatch.
Bree Kuhn was ultimately convicted of first-degree premeditated murder and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
This documentary is presented for educational and informational purposes, focusing on police interrogation, investigative procedure, evidence analysis, and the criminal justice process.
