Walmart robbery suspects arrested 11/18/18

This weekend, two men carrying bags full of merchandise ran out of a Walmart in Deltona. One of them struck an employee in the head with one of the bags as he ran for the door. After the getaway car fled from deputies, two suspects ended up hiding in the wooded area of Exit 108 off I-4. Air One was able to locate them, along with several nocturnal animals along the way. In total, four people were arrested: -The two suspects hiding in the woods (charged with robbery and grand theft, plus battery for the defendant who struck the employee) -The driver of the car, who told deputies she was an Uber driver and fled because she wanted to avoid being arrested (charged with fleeing/attempting to elude) -A front-seat passenger, who told deputies he was asleep for most of the time (charged with resisting without violence, violation of probation) The stolen items included clothing and 36 cartons of cigarettes, totaling about $2,500.
