Inside the Swearing-In: Portland Police Bureau Welcomes New Officers & Leaders

Join us in welcoming 16 new officers, three commanders, and one assistant chief to the Portland Police Bureau. Ceremonies like this are a reminder of what policing is really about: service. Every person raising their right hand made the decision to take on a profession built on responsibility, sacrifice, and a commitment to others. The officers joining our ranks were carefully selected and now begin the next chapter of their careers serving the people of Portland. Keeping Portland safe isn't something we do alone. It takes people who are willing to step forward, answer the call, and serve their community with integrity and professionalism. To our newest officers and leaders: congratulations and welcome to the team. We are proud to have you with us and look forward to the impact you'll make in the years ahead. If you've ever considered a career in public service, we're hiring. Join us as we work to keep Portland safe and help Portland be Portland. JoinPortlandPolice.com
