Title
What Not to Do When Driving on a Learner’s Permit
Description
On Tuesday, June 24th, an officer tried to conduct a traffic stop on a speeding Chevrolet in Daytona Beach Shores, Florida. Instead of pulling over, though, the driver sped up. Court records show that the officer initially had radar of her going 58MPH in a 35MPH zone but as she continued down the road for over a mile with him behind her, he visually estimated her speed to reach in excess of 70MPH. She eventually stopped in the parking lot of City Hall where the officer conducted a high-risk stop with the assistance of two other responding officers.
