Title
Delusional Woman Purposefully Runs Over Boyfriend Then Argues With Cops
Description
Watch this police interrogation with intense raw interrogation from the interrogation room as police conduct a full interrogation of a suspect. This raw interrogation footage captures every moment of the suspect interview, complete with deception detection techniques, and criminal psychology in true JCS style interrogation.
The Background
Brooklyn Maxine Frazie (age 41–42 at the time of the incident/trial; of the Portsmouth/Minford/Shumway Hollow area, Scioto County, Ohio) and Darrell “Scott” Donahoe (age 44, of Shumway Hollow/Portsmouth area).
They were in a romantic relationship (boyfriend/girlfriend). Family members of Donahoe described Frazie as controlling and obsessive during the relationship.
The incident began as a domestic dispute/argument between the couple on September 27, 2023. No other clear premeditated motive beyond the escalating argument and pursuit was publicly detailed by prosecutors; Frazie later claimed it was accidental.
The Crime
Date: September 27, 2023 (around 6 p.m.).
Location: Started in the Sciotoville/Minford area of Scioto County, Ohio; high-speed pursuit continued for approximately 14 miles into New Boston on U.S. Route 52 (near a CVS).
Neighbor reported a domestic dispute that turned into a vehicle chase: Frazie driving a black SUV pursued Donahoe on his motorcycle at high speeds, violating traffic laws and endangering others (some witnesses initially mistook it for a police chase).
Frazie struck the rear of Donahoe’s motorcycle, causing him to crash and fall. She continued forward, dragging him about 58 feet under the vehicle, then backed over him. Bystanders intervened to stop her.
No evidence of elaborate prior planning or evidence tampering was reported; the events stemmed from the immediate dispute and pursuit. Frazie had methamphetamine in her system and possessed Suboxone.
Donahoe suffered 14 rib fractures, liver lacerations, and severe internal bleeding; cause of death was blunt force trauma. He was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at Southern Ohio Medical Center.
The Investigation
Scioto County Sheriff’s Office (assisted by New Boston Police and Ohio State Highway Patrol) investigated after the neighbor’s 911 call and the collision.
Suspect behavior: At the scene (captured on body camera), Frazie claimed Donahoe had crashed/wrecked in front of her. She denied intentional contact.
Key evidence: Multiple eyewitness accounts of the aggressive high-speed pursuit, rear-end strike, dragging, and backing over; surveillance footage; accident reconstruction confirming Donahoe was upright on the motorcycle when struck (contradicting her claim); toxicology showing methamphetamine in Frazie’s system; physical evidence of the drag and injuries.
Inconsistencies: Frazie’s account (he crashed in front of her / she was only trying to catch up to warn him about a lowered kickstand while heading to dinner) was contradicted by eyewitnesses, reconstruction, and the nature of the injuries/dragging. Bystanders used car jacks to lift the SUV off Donahoe and attempted aid.
Conviction and Sentencing
Weeklong jury trial in Scioto County Court of Common Pleas (Judge Mark Kuhn); prosecution presented ~30 witnesses and over 150 exhibits. Jury deliberated less than three hours.
Verdict (August 16, 2024): Guilty on all counts, including aggravated murder of Darrell “Scott” Donahoe, plus murder, felonious assault, inducing panic, attempting to leave the scene of an accident/collision, operating a vehicle while under the influence, operation of a vehicle in willful/wanton disregard, and aggravated vehicular homicide (total of 12 counts). Only one defendant (Frazie).
Sentencing (August 19, 2024, or immediately following): Life in prison without the possibility of parole for 34 years. Victim impact statements were given by Donahoe’s mother and daughter.
