Description
Predator Corrupt Cop Has No Idea Police Already Found His Secret Chat Messages
On March 26, 2025, probationary Neenah Police Officer Owen Halls found himself on the other side of an investigation.
An Internet Crimes Against Children investigation had led authorities to Halls after investigators traced online activity involving child sexual abuse material. According to the criminal complaint, investigators said Halls admitted during his interview to viewing and trading illegal material with other people through messaging apps. Multiple search warrants were executed, and Halls was arrested and terminated from the Neenah Police Department.
In this episode of Stayalert Interrogation, watch the interrogation unfold as investigators question Halls about his online activity and confront him with evidence gathered during the investigation. His answers, explanations, and reactions become increasingly significant as detectives reveal how much they already know.
The interrogation provides a revealing look at how digital evidence, messaging activity, search warrants, and investigative questioning can converge when the person sitting across from detectives is himself a police officer.
CASE OUTCOME
Halls initially faced two felony counts of possession of child pornography. On November 7, 2025, he pleaded no contest to one count, while the other count was dismissed as part of the plea agreement.
On December 19, 2025, Halls was sentenced to 3 years in prison followed by 5 years of extended supervision.
