Title
Police Give Him a Second Chance, and He Immediately Blows It
Description
On Saturday, September 13, 2025, officers responded to a harassment complaint about an ex-boyfriend following a woman from her home and making unwanted contact despite her requests for him to stop. The officers observed the suspect attempting to block the victim from driving by positioning his vehicle in front of hers, and while the officers concluded the initial investigation was a domestic disturbance and did not warrant further action, the officer would observe shortly thereafter the victim being chased by the defendant on the roadway. This PRA video serves as an educational resource for understanding the "Stalking" statute in Florida, as well as the protocols officers follow when confronted with non-compliance during a harassment investigation.
