PPB donates bikes to Bybee Lakes Hope Center

The Portland Police Bureau donated 30 unclaimed bicycles from its Property Evidence Division to the Bybee Lakes Hope Center, a transitional housing facility that supports those experiencing homelessness. "I’m so inspired by the programs that are helping our neighbors experiencing homelessness. We saw an opportunity to help by donating unclaimed bicycles. The bikes would otherwise be auctioned off or disposed of, but now they’ll help our community members regain their independence." - Chief Lovell
