Title
She Kept Driving After the Crash Until This Happened
Description
On Sunday, March 15, 2026, just after 5 p.m., the Flagler County Emergency Communications Center received multiple calls reporting a crash in Palm Coast, Florida. A vehicle had struck several cars and left the scene. With help from witnesses, deputies located a black Toyota Tacoma with heavy front-end damage stopped near Ulaturn Trail and Seminole Woods Boulevard. According to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office, deputies contacted the driver — Marina Brandon, 25, of Palm Coast — and reported she was unable to speak clearly and smelled strongly of alcohol. After exiting the vehicle, deputies said she swayed, stumbled multiple times, and was unable to maintain her balance. Deputies completed the crash investigation and then conducted a DUI investigation. Brandon refused treatment at a local hospital and was transported to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility, where a breath test returned a blood alcohol content of .250 — more than three times Florida's legal limit of .08. She was arrested for DUI with property damage, leaving the scene of a crash involving damage to property, and operating a motor vehicle without a licence. She was released on a $5,500 bond. ⚖️ Marina Brandon has been CHARGED, not convicted. She is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. All details come from the Flagler County Sheriff's Office public release. Uninvolved people, vehicles and licence plates are blurred. 📁 SOURCE Body-worn camera footage released publicly by the Flagler County Sheriff's Office. Florida public record under Ch. 119, Fla. Stat.
