What began as a late-night traffic stop on Interstate 40 quickly developed into an intense Arkansas State Police pursuit involving a white Ford F-350.
According to the official report, Trooper Damion Potts initially observed the F-350 swerving within its lane and crossing roadway markings while traveling westbound through St. Francis County. When emergency lights and sirens were activated, the truck allegedly continued instead of stopping.
The pursuit became increasingly dangerous as the F-350 reportedly changed speeds, swerved across the interstate, and used the shoulder to pass traffic. Trooper Hunter Hill soon joined the pursuit, and dashcam footage shows his patrol vehicle reaching 124 MPH while attempting to close the distance.
As multiple Arkansas State Police units became involved, troopers attempted different strategies to bring the truck to a stop. The situation became even more intense when the F-350 and an ASP patrol vehicle made contact.
