2015 Youth Leadership Academy

Mesa PD hosted their first Youth Leadership Academy in July for 40 students going into grades 9 through 12. Students were selected by their school resource officer or principal, are a member of our Explorer Post or a parent is employed by the police department. The goal of the academy is to prepare our youth for future leadership opportunities at school and within our community and to develop interpersonal skills which will benefit students as they prepare for college and the work force.
