Air One assist to Edgewater PD

Yesterday, Air One assisted the Edgewater Police Department on a call involving a fleeing stolen vehicle. Nice stick hit, and great teamwork here! Here's the recap from Edgewater PD: A stolen vehicle involved in an out of the area burglary took the wrong exit! EPD stop sticked the car at the I-95 Edgewater exit. The driver, Ronald Salley Jr., ran from the car at the 2000 block of Willow Oak Dr since the tires were going flat. He threw a stolen gun as he ran and was caught by EPD Officers with the help of Volusia County Sheriff's Office AIR1. A passenger, Hanna Everett, was arrested and her 2 year old daughter who was in the backseat was eventually united with a responsible adult. The stolen gun was recovered with the help of VCSO K9.
