In the early morning hours of August 16, 2025, Trooper Ke’von Medley of Arkansas State Police attempted a traffic stop in Forrest City after noticing a white Nissan Altima with an obstructed windshield and no active insurance on record.
What began as a routine stop quickly escalated when the driver rolled up his window, ignored commands, and hit the gas. The Altima darted through residential streets at dangerous speeds, swerving through intersections and narrowly avoiding other cars. Troopers worked in coordination, deploying multiple TVI attempts to stop the fleeing vehicle.
The driver pushed the Altima through turns and side streets until control slipped away — leading to a tense moment as he jumped from the car and tried to escape on foot. Officers weren’t far behind, and the situation unfolded rapidly.
