Armed Robbery - Family Dollar - July 8, 2013

The Milwaukee Police Department is seeking information on the identity of the suspect responsible for the July 8, 2013 armed robbery at the Family Dollar store located at 6450 N. 76th Street. The suspect entered the store shortly after 9 a.m. and attempted to purchase items but claimed that he did not have enough money. He then produced a knife and told the cashier to open the register. The suspect obtained money and fled the store on foot. The suspect is described as a black male, 6'00" to 6'02", 150-170 lbs., wearing a red, white and blue hooded sweatshirt with the letters DGK in red over white background, blue jeans and white or light tennis shoes.
