Search Warrant

Investigators from Central NRT received assistance from SERT, the Police Bureau’s tactical unit, in serving a search warrant on the 3000 block of SE Ankeny Street. This warrant was in response to an investigation into a string of thefts, burglaries and vandalism in the area. The resident of the house, a registered but out of compliance sex offender, is on parole for burglary and has been arrested 70 previous times as an adult. The Oregon State Parole board had issued a warrant for his arrest. The resident was taken into custody by SERT and investigators searched the house for stolen property. Several van loads of stolen and suspected stolen property were recovered. During the search, an ET statue was found and determined to have been stolen from @pieceofcake_pdx during a burglary in May of 2023. The ET was phoned home to the bakery. The suspect in this case was booked into Multnomah County Jail on charges of burglary, theft, criminal mischief, theft by receiving, failing to register as a sex offender and being a felon in possession of body armor. This investigation is on going. #portland #portlandoregon #pdx #pdxoregon #portlandor
