Narcissist Lies Directly To Cops, Doesn't Realize They Have Evidence
Description
Watch this police interrogation with intense raw interrogation from the interrogation room as police conduct a full interrogation of a suspect. This raw interrogation footage captures every moment of the suspect interview, complete with deception detection techniques, and criminal psychology in true JCS style interrogation. The Background Megan Ashley Stedman, 34, of Spokane, Washington; mother; living in a 1973 motorhome/RV with Christopher Brandon Foiles. Foiles (then about 42; 44 at sentencing) was her boyfriend/estranged partner. Sources describe a contentious relationship. November 11, 2023 (Park County / Livingston area): Foiles was charged with felony partner/family-member assault after allegations he threatened Stedman with bear spray and would not let her leave the RV. The charge was enhanced based on prior domestic-violence convictions. A no-contact order protecting Stedman was issued in December 2023 after a Park County bond hearing. Foiles later cited fear she would go to police over that order. Motive described in court records and his statements: argument plus fear of police/no-contact-order consequences. He later called the killing “senseless.” The Crime Date: on or about December 14, 2023. Location: Stedman’s RV parked in a Walmart parking lot in Bozeman, Gallatin County, Montana. Surveillance: Stedman and Foiles were seen entering that Walmart on December 14. Her phone was shut off by December 15. She was later listed missing from the Bozeman/Livingston area. Method: Foiles used a kitchen knife. He admitted stabbing her with intent to kill. Prosecutors also said he killed her dog, Cali. Afterward: Foiles remained with the body in the RV, drove to Idaho Falls (he first said they arrived around December 22), and lived with the remains for weeks. On December 16 he returned to the Bozeman Walmart and bought items including scent killer, bleach, spray paint, and curtains. The RV’s red stripe was later painted blue. The Investigation January 2, 2024: Bozeman Police asked the public for help locating Stedman and a damaged tan 1973 motorhome. January 12, 2024: Idaho Falls Police responded to a suspicious RV on Wardell Avenue matching the missing-person vehicle. After surveillance, Foiles came out and said, in substance: “My name is Chris Foiles, I killed my girlfriend, she’s in the RV.” Inside: officers found a woman’s body, credit cards in Stedman’s name, and a tattoo matching her missing-person description. Foiles waived Miranda rights and confessed. He first said the killing happened during an argument in an Idaho Falls Walmart lot around late December. A recorded jail call (about February 8, 2024) and further video/investigation established the homicide occurred earlier, in Bozeman. Idaho charges were dismissed and the case moved to Gallatin County. Additional Montana charges reported in coverage included aggravated animal cruelty, identity theft, tampering/destruction of evidence, violating a no-contact order, and obstructing a peace officer. Idaho had also filed first-degree murder, a weapon enhancement, and destruction of evidence, and noticed intent to seek the death penalty before venue changed. Montana did not pursue death. Conviction and Sentencing Sole defendant: Christopher Brandon Foiles. No co-defendant. Idaho: first-degree murder and related charges; not-guilty plea; death-penalty notice filed; case transferred after the killing was placed in Montana. Gallatin County, Montana: charged with deliberate homicide (and related counts). Guilty plea: late September / early October 2025 before 18th District Judge Rienne H. McElyea, under a written plea agreement. Verdict: guilty of one count of deliberate homicide. Sentencing: November 25, 2025. 60 years in Montana State Prison, none suspended. No parole eligibility (judge cited the heinous nature of the crime and violation of the no-contact order). 624 days credit for time served (about 58 years, 3 months remaining). Restitution of about $2,921.37 plus a restitution fee. No contact with Stedman’s family. nterrogations, interrogation jcs inspired, interrogation jcs style, interrogation psychology, interrogation psychology jcs inspired, new interrogations 2026,interrogation breakdown, police interrogation psychology, bodycam, interview, case analysis, bodycam footage, crime investigation, police interrogation, suspect interview, int, interrogations 2026,interrogation videos, jcs true crime
