Burglary - 01/11/11 - Big Jim's Liquor- 2161 W. Hopkins Street

On Tuesday, January 11, 2011, at 5 a.m., the man seen in the video forced his way into Big Jim's Liquor store and stole items. The Milwaukee Police Department asks the community for assistance to identify him. As the video shows, the suspect is a black male wearing a dark colored winter vest, a light colored hooded sweatshirt over a white t-shirt and blue jeans. It appears that he has a mustache and goatee, but that could be due to the resolution of the video. There was a second suspect with the man, but there are no images available. The community is encouraged to view the surveillance video and if anyone has information regarding this incident or any such crime, to please contact the Milwaukee Police Department at 414-935-7360.
