Teen Goes To Egg A House With Friends, Then She Winds Up In Jail For Murder
Description
Watch this police interrogation with intense raw interrogation from the interrogation room as police conduct a full interrogation of a suspect. This raw interrogation footage captures every moment of the suspect interview, complete with deception detection techniques, and criminal psychology in true JCS style interrogation. The Background McKenzie Davenport (then 19) accompanied Sydney Makayla Maughon (then 18) and Jeremy Munson (then 18). The three went to a residence on Dobbins Mill Road in Spalding County, Georgia, on July 3, 2023. Maughon had been threatening to fight the female resident over Instagram; Jonathan Tyler Gilbert (also known as Tyler Lane, age 22) was visiting that home. Maughon had a relationship with Gilbert. Their stated plan was to egg the home and fight the female. Munson was armed with a handgun. The Crime On arrival, Maughon became enraged that Gilbert was present. Davenport and Maughon threw eggs and rocks at Gilbert. Video showed Gilbert running from the front of the home to the rear. Maughon is heard urging someone in the car to “shoot him, shoot him.” Gilbert approached the vehicle unarmed. Maughon took Munson’s firearm and shot Gilbert twice. Davenport immediately fled the vehicle, ran for help, and got someone to call 911. She left her shoes and cell phone in the car. Maughon and Munson left the scene, leaving Gilbert in the roadway. The Investigation Deputies found Gilbert deceased in the road from gunshot wounds; identified by fingerprints. Davenport’s abandoned phone (tracking feature enabled with her cooperation) helped locate Maughon and Munson. Vehicle and firearm were recovered. Early charging documents listed Davenport on malice murder, battery, and criminal trespass; later resolution was to misdemeanors tied only to pre-shooting conduct. Conviction and Sentencing Davenport entered a plea to two misdemeanor charges (criminal trespass and simple battery) based on her involvement in the events prior to the shooting. She was sentenced to 24 months behind bars. (Sydney Maughon pleaded guilty to malice murder and received life with parole eligibility after a minimum of 30 years; Jeremy Munson later pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and received 20 years in prison plus five years probation on a firearm count.) true crime, law and crime network, interrogation, interrogation analysis, red thread interrogations, interrogation jcs inspired, interrogation jcs style, interrogation psychology, interrogation psychology jcs inspired, new interrogations 2026,interrogation breakdown, police interrogation psychology, bodycam, interview, case analysis, bodycam footage, crime investigation, police interrogation, suspect interview, int, interrogations 2026,interrogation videos, jcs true crime
