Unsolved homicide: Paul "Shorty" Wright

Paul "Shorty" Wright was shot and killed late at night on April 25, 2017, in the DeLand area. There was talk around town that he was some kind of informant for us, but he wasn't. He was just friendly to cops if they came around. The rumors might have gotten him killed anyway. We understand there's a fear and reluctance to talk to law enforcement in some cases. But we need cooperation from the community here, and we're offering a $10,000 cash reward for information that leads to a conviction of Mr. Wright's killer. It's the right thing to do. And we will pay you for it. Call us at 386-254-1537 or email Det. Amrhine at SAmrhine@vcso.us. Music bensound.com
