School's Back. So Are School Zones And Buses. Slow Down And Pay Attention.

School's officially back in session, which means school zone rules are in full effect and buses are out and about. Here's a quick refresher: Obey the posted school zone speed limit, fines are doubled if you get caught speeding through one. Phones out of your hands in active school zones. Hands free only. Stop for buses with lights flashing and the stop arm out, no matter which direction you're headed, unless there's a median or barrier separating you. Watch for pedestrians, kids don't always look before they cross. Slow down, pay attention, and let's keep everyone safe all year long.
