The Murder Of Luther Coe. Cheryl’s First Interview.

On June 23, 2021, 911 was called out to a house in rural Newnan, Georgia for a man who had been shot. When officers arrived on scene, they discovered a man who was completely naked, laying on the floor covered in blood and his wife was kneeling right next to him holding pressure on his wound. Once EMTs arrive, they take over, but despite all of their life-saving attempts, Luther “Luke” Coe III passed away from a single gunshot to the chest. As investigators tried to uncover what happened, they first speak with his wife, Cheryl, who says that she had gone to sleep just 11 minutes prior to the shooting and while asleep her bedroom door flung open, slamming into the wall making a loud bang and startling her awake. Still basically asleep and not thinking correctly, Cheryl says she picked up her gun from her night stand and shot at the intruder. It wasn’t until he yelled out “You shot me” that Cheryl realized it was actually her husband that she had just shot. During the investigation, Detectives noted that Cheryl’s story was not adding up and some of the evidence was not matching what she had said happened, detectives also learned that the couple was in an open marriage and was actively sleeping with other people. They were part of the swingers community and they frequently dabbled with BDSM. After collecting evidence at the crime scene Cheryl was questioned again where she threw up more red flags by changing her story a couple more times. in the end Cheryl Howell Coe was charged with her husband‘s murder and taken to jail. in this video, I will give you all of the information so you can decide whether you think this was a legitimate accident as Cheryl claims or if this was cold blooded murder.
