A Vehicle Break In Leads To A High Speed Chase In A Funeral Home Van And A Body Falls Out

This all started when police were called out for a vehicle break in. They watched footage and realized the suspect was one of two men who were working nearby on a back hoe and he had walked over while his boss was away and broke into the vehicle. Police hid and waited for the suspect to return and when he did the suspect 25 year old Kijon Griffin took off running. After a short foot chase Kijon spotted a van running and he hopped in and floored it away from the area. When he hit the gas on the van, which belonged to a mortuary, a deceased human body on a gurney rolled out of the back of the van. Conyers police chased the van on the backroads and down the interstate until the van Kijon stole became immobile and then he fled again on foot out into the woods off the side of the interstate. After all of this footage, I have also included his police interview and his court disposition.
