Dumb Killer Claims She Just Went Along, Until the Evidence Comes Out
Description
Watch this police interrogation with intense raw interrogation from the interrogation room as police conduct a full interrogation of a suspect. This raw interrogation footage captures every moment of the suspect interview, complete with deception detection techniques, and criminal psychology in true JCS style interrogation. 1. Background Sierra Nicole Bemis, then 23–24, was one of six people charged in the death of Kayla Sedoskey, 23. The group had social and roommate ties. Steven Bails was Sedoskey’s ex-boyfriend. Prosecutors said the group planned to kill Sedoskey after ongoing disagreements. A prosecutor later told the court Bemis knew beforehand they were going to kill her and went along with it. 2. The crime / Sierra’s role Between about 10 p.m. Feb. 15 and 12:30 a.m. Feb. 16, 2023, Sedoskey was lured to the abandoned Boysville facility by Brin Smith. Police said Steven Bails, Kaylyn Ramsey, and Sierra Bemis were waiting there when Sedoskey arrived. Sedoskey was shot three times. Investigators have not publicly named a confirmed shooter. The next day, Steven Bails, Smith, Ramsey, and Bemis returned to hide the body and cover it with fragrance to mask the odor. 3. Investigation Body found March 2, 2023. Bemis and Smith were among the first arrested in April 2023. Bemis was initially charged with open murder and conspiracy to commit open murder. Bemis later testified against Steven Bails at his March 2024 jury trial. 4. Conviction and sentence Original charges: open murder and conspiracy to commit open murder (later first-degree homicide / conspiracy language in the broader case). February 2024: pleaded no contest / guilty to second-degree homicide. Other homicide counts were dismissed as part of the plea process. May 23, 2024: sentenced by Judge Daniel S. White to 18 years, 9 months to 30 years in prison (some reports round this to 19–30 years). Credit for time served. Eligible for parole consideration after the minimum term under Michigan law. Most recent verified public reporting: incarcerated in the Michigan Department of Corrections. true crime, law and crime network, interrogation, interrogation analysis, red thread interrogations, interrogation jcs inspired, interrogation jcs style, interrogation psychology, interrogation psychology jcs inspired, new interrogations 2026,interrogation breakdown, police interrogation psychology, bodycam, interview, case analysis, bodycam footage, crime investigation, police interrogation, suspect interview, int, interrogations 2026,interrogation videos, jcs true crime
