Sheriff Rick Staly's Weekend Roundup - October 7-9, 2022

A fugitive wanted in South Carolina will head back there soon after a stay at the Green Roof Inn. The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) found him driving a vehicle transporting various kinds of drugs and weapons along with a baby. Matthew Earle and two other South Carolina residents were arrested during a weekend where deputies also found another fugitive during a separate traffic stop and arrested a South Florida man for having a large amount of cannabis packaged to sell in his vehicle. FCSO answered 859 service calls, made 148 traffic stops and arrested 15 people during this past weekend (October 7-9, 2022), according to Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly. “More fugitives learned they made the mistake of coming into Flagler County,” Sheriff Staly noted. “I also commend our deputies that worked to save a driver from a burning vehicle after it crashed into a wooded area. This kind of effort from our deputies shows why we have the best in law enforcement.” #WeekendRoundup #FlaglerCounty #FCSO MORE: http://www.flaglersheriff.com/cmsfiles/2022-224-Weekend-RoundupOct-7-92022-.pdf
