abducted their two children a 2-year-old and their 4-month-old from the custody of the Arizona Department of Child Safety the children were reported missing and mourning and an amber alert was later issued officials believe that the parents were heading to either Louisiana or Mississippi where the father is originally from the vehicle in the Amber Alert was a 2008 do pickup with Louisiana plates c61 18802 later that night after a proactive search around 11:00 p.m. Troopers with the Louisiana State Police Troop G spotted their 2008 pickup and conducted a felony stop on the vehicle go ahead took the children he drove over there two days ago and picked them off just out of hypothetical would it maybe not be a bad idea to let those two run back to the Sheriff's Office and let one of them drive this truck so we don't have to take out if they're willing to do that but we're going to have to get the kids out there anyway I know I'm just thinking Melissa gladen and Jerry Kirkley were extradited back to Arizona to face charges of custodial interference Melissa gladen spent around 53 days in jail and Jerry Kirkley around 108 days after being o as a part of their bond conditions the Arizona judge ordered that Melissa not to have any contact with Jerry kley their next court date they both walked into court and sat together despite the judge order and almost was arrested again they both were convicted of custodial interference and both were sentenced to 3 months probation Melissa and Jerry are only allowed to see their children in the supervision of the Arizona Department of
