Louisiana State Police Troop G observe a Toyota Cameron commit a traffic violation the trooper will stop the vehicle and make contact with the driver 45 year old Misty Michelle [ __ ] AKA Misty I and tell the reason for the traffic stop g58 Region 3 I'll be out with g43 [Applause] driver step out for me hey I'm Trevor SP of State Police the reason for the Stop was from speed you were doing 65 and a 60 any particular reason for that no oh I'm trying to get home I've been at my best friends they've been fighting and I'm just trying to get home you've been at your best friend where where was that [Applause] there while detained the Troopers begin questioning Misty about her vehicle and the contents inside what you seem you seem extremely nervous and under distress like I said you're not underr I was just trying to get home that's all I'm tired so you don't know anything about the no I don't have any kind I've never been in trouble or anything have you never had any you ever had any drug charges no you ever been arrested before no a long long time ago what were you arrested for 16 18 years ago 18 years ago well I know it's been 16 interesting 45 yeah I got 18 years ago you got what was that for um worthless checks and theft and I think I had um for fighting that was it I got you um so you have no idea who's meth by no no how long have you had this car I mean for a little while but I've given people rides and everything else well you said you were buying this car yeah well I bought it but I mean I've giv people ride it's just not in my name yet we're going tomorrow to get it in my name oh you going to put in your name tomorrow yes okay cuz earlier you said you were you were you were going to buy it and then you just well no the reason I meant that is because it's not in my name I have paid for it you I mean look I got the text to say we were going tomorrow see your phone see see that yeah I'm just setting it right here I'm just sting it right there I don't know I I mean I gave some people a ride in Texas today m is there going to be anything else in this car have you ever been arrested for any I need you to calm down I'm just asking you these questions so that we can eliminate and figure out what's going on okay all right you've never been arrest for any kind of drug offense no okay and there's nothing else in the car that's even most related to thate you can you can lean up against this right here wow but there's nothing else in the car that could be tied I know of no how many people did you give a ride in just one here lean on that so you can relax okay anybody else in the v no no okay man' stand back here in front of this vehicle stand right here okay what the the paraphernalia already in plain view the Troopers move forward with the search of the vehicle run now no not right right now you're being detained for drug paraphernalia go you advis her of Rights yes Rich okay [Applause] baggies bunch of baggies yeah utane lighters so yeah I mean right when I looked down here through the window plainest day right on the bottom there all right bunch of candy yeah but you got to be careful with that bam person AR RVE what is that that's what was Troopers search they find more illegal things in the vehicle so I'll take this side of the vehicle you want to take the trunk and then Smith got driver side driver side work what back we'll meet the middle man we can do that but let's be mindful of any traps or anything okay okay got a [Music] firearm got to hang on yeah it was on a magnet right there that a fire yeah she's got a tub Weare on the front seat underneath the bag with the meth in it but look she's got she's got brand new sets of tools that she that she bought I guess at some point recently cuz packages are still in there we need we need to move this to a safer location instead of searching this on the side of the road this engine hey we got c yeah I saw that on out there how much like just some there's a lot of hunters in here okay we got to find she used these tools for be mindful while you're searching doing a search of Misty's vehicle Troopers found 1 kgam of methamphetamines un loaded 9 mm handgun a MTH pipe and $2,100 in US currency Misty was booked into the cattle Correctional Center on the charge of possession with the intent to distribute of schedule two possession of a firearm and the presence of a controlled Angel substance and possession of Dr felon Misty played guilty and was sentence to 120 months in federal prison
