Louisiana State Police Troop elf observed a red di Challenger following too close to another vehicle the trooper then conducted a trais stop hey how you doing doing all right man yes sir yes sir all right you got your license on yes sir thank you after making contact with the individuals in the vehicle the trooper explains the reason for the stop what the problem is this your license or just your charges or one of them both of them got firearm charge anyway when I started asking question they just real quick to answer didn't want to let me an eye and uh so both of them are from one's from Texas both of them staying in Rustin anyway they was coming up 143 right here but they uh when I asked about anything in the car they said no and then when I asked the you know if they mind if search it they said they didn't want me searching it there ain't no reason to me search it so it might not be nothing but just just you know better take both of them have possession charges firearm possession charges they they just yeah so when I asked that question there was a little quick it might be it might be wasting time bro but that's app I appreciate anybody out with you yeah I got the of you have marijuana any other kind of drug in that car in past several months somewhere that car that the that he's going off okay so there's anything tell him now going to stick a poke that's the main thing I don't I don't take you is doing meth or anything or having any needle but I don't I don't want to get stick or poke okay all right so look what I'm going to do I'm going to cut you Trooper find some illegal in a book bag a weapon was found in the book bag and both men were placed in handcuffs for further investigation the trooper then runs a criminal history check to see if any other men have been convicted of a felony I do it if I needed you to transport could you or huh okay if if I need to I'm I'm trying to they're trying to the one on the right in the dark shirt he's convicted so he's probably going to go checking the one on the left so but if I got if I got a 1015 boat you mind transport one thank it's sorry to put you in this we we don't have anybody up you over here um well we got one of the new guys out but he's with he he's with his uh he's with his fto and they got court he's got court so he's going through the court deal looking at the court and then4 show that charge on the other subject unlawful carry and a weapon showing a misdemeanor and also disposition showing dismiss go show me 1015 with the uh Cadet subject good work sir all right you want because neither man admitted to ship of the weapon the trooper was forced to place Marlin Cadet under arrest for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm a couple months later the district attorney declined to prosecute Marlin and the charges were dropped good oh okay come on back to the store real quick I talk to you in here I tell you what your next this point wrong place wrong time
