So, you didn't have a knife in your pocket. So, did it fall out of your pocket? Where is it at? It's still in my pocket, man. Huh? Somewhere in there? It's still in my pocket. What kind of What kind of knife was it? I ain't It's like a kind of knife like a small knife, butcher knife, pocket knife, is a small knife? It's small. Like a little pocket knife or something? No, or just like a God cat me, man. Okay. Well, listen, that's what I'm trying to figure out cuz I We don't want you to get in a bind if you were just trying to defend yourself. But here But here's what I need you to do, Mr. Scott. I need you to tell me what happened cuz right now all we've got is a guy in the, you know what I'm saying, stabbed. His friend? I don't know why, man. Okay. Is your brother? Yeah. Go ahead. 10-4, thank you. Okay. Here, give us a second. We're going to try to find this knife, okay? Cuz it wasn't in your pocket. The mother of the suspect then tells the officers what happened and how things escalated. Cliver, let me take a look at you. You got a little bit blood on you. How many times did you stab him? Yeah. Cliver, we can't find the knife, dude. You said it's a small knife though? >> Yeah, tell him what it is. He poked me first. Turn your knees that way. He's a good guy, man. Check your back pocket there. What about this? Mhm. Did she put those dogs up or what? There's a little one here. I found it in there. This one here is the one that Is that the P? Yeah, they're they're in the bedroom. All right. I'm back and forth. >> Yeah. That one there? All right. And he And they they That's perfect, bro. bugging me and everything. And uh Billy was trying to get him out. Where'd you end up finding the knife? I I'm hard of hearing now. >> Yeah, where'd you end up finding the knife? Was it laying in there? Yeah. It was Whenever I Whenever I come back in here, the knife was right here. Okay. >> right there. Yeah. So, I I touched that and I moved it there. All right, then. And then I want to show you, too. He likes to Whenever he gets drunk, I bruise easy, so he pokes at me. Is that what he was doing tonight? >> And uh my other Billy was trying to get him out. Did he poke you? >> been walking back and forth, back and forth and everything. >> poke you tonight? I I can't hear it now. Did he poke you tonight? Yeah. That That's just I bruise easy. Okay. I was going to go tomorrow and try to get him evicted and everything Mhm. because I'm I'm tired of it. You're right. He's He's He gets drunk and he and he, you know, he grabbed me by the throat and he'll shake me and growl to I We got two big dogs. Mhm. And he'll have them coming here and growl. And here a year ago they scratched me here real big and I I didn't call the police. And here he He just got out of jail the 15th of this month. Mhm. Cuz he went in jail the 31st of January Mhm. because he's pushing my All right. All right. Cuz he's pushing my neighbor. She She went to give me some groceries and stuff and I opened the door for her. And he was passed out on the couch and he started pushing at her. Mhm. Telling her, you know, "You didn't knock. You didn't knock." She's 62 years old. Right. And she's my, you know, neighbor. So, he He went to jail on that. But like I say, I don't know I can't hear them. So, I don't know what all was going on, you know, the back and forth, back and forth, you know, they They were talking, but I couldn't hear what they were saying. Okay. And then I saw the police and saw the ambulances I thought come up and I thought So, that they're looking, but he He went out then he come back in real quick and then he went back out. And that's when he probably threw the knife. I I didn't see the knife until I come back a while ago here. >> Okay. Okay. And he and he had it right here. But like I say, you know, I I I hope I can If he gets out of jail now, can I not let him back in my house? Well, from what you're saying this the the son that was defending you he's the one that's going to be going to jail tonight. The one with the knife and here no he he Bubba is the one that needs to go to jail. Bubba is the one I'm trying to get out. Billy was trying to defend me. William. William was defending you? >> to defend me. >> So Clifford, who's Clifford? >> Clifford is the one that was that that I'm trying to get out of the house. >> Okay, so that's the one that's going to jail. Yep. Yep. I mean I love I love my kids, but I'm not no punching bag. All right. So he was he was the the aggressor here. This is the Yes, we. So the uh the one that got stabbed he was trying to defend her, you know, trying to get him out of the house or whatever push him out of the house and he retaliated by stabbing him. He's not really giving much of a statement. He's been drinking, too. Um we're going to have a unit go up to the to the to the hospital to get a statement from the guy that was stabbed if we can. I don't know if you want to meet him up there or uh how you want to do it. Huh? Where was he stabbed? Oh, I don't I don't know just yet. Uh >> Chest, arm, chest. Up to a minimum of four times. He was stabbed up to a minimum of four times and >> Mostly slashes. Mostly Yeah, mostly slashes cuz this is like a box cutter, but uh it was a chest arm >> Chest, arm, uh I think they said across the side on one of them. And and they mentioned across his side. I can't remember if it's the left or the right side. But uh decent amount of blood. Uh he was laying in the driveway near this the end of the [ __ ] I I don't want to say. Did they Did they determine whether or not it was a life-threatening or not? Definitely serious. I don't >> It Yeah, I don't I don't think they deemed it life threatening but it's definitely serious. He lost at least a decent amount of blood. The suspect was arrested and charged with aggravated second degree battery and domestic abuse battery and he was sentenced to 10 years in a Louisiana Department of Corrections. Oh yeah, he wanted us to shoot him. He wanted us to shoot him right here in the freaking yard. That's not how that goes, man. >> [music] >> He said, "Shoot that motherfucker." I was like, This dude's giving up, man. Okay. >> [music] >> Pocket full of change. Lip balm. That this hurts, man. I'll I'll loosen them up. Let me see. My shoulder's bad.
