on this episode of state boyss A man is pulled over by Louisiana state trooper for speeding coming from Houston Texas a quick search of the vehicle and the Troopers find something illegal what will the Troopers find there nothing illegal in that vehicle oh okay there's no large amount of in the vehicle no large amount of boys on the highway do the speed boys don't play Boys on theate make sure Parish on August 3rd 2020 a trooper with the Louisiana State Police Troop D conducted a traffic stop on a 2020 Ford Fusion for speeding in the construction zone the trooper made contact with the driver Cory Harper of Chattanooga Tennessee and tells him the reason for the Stop d75 Regent 875 I 10 eastbound at the 22 believe it's Illinois Bravo Delta 36310 Bravo Delta 36310 on a white Ford fusion7 drive over how you going let's step over here get out the road look Trooper mcke State Police look the reason I stopped you is speeding 72 and a 60 yeah uh it it was 70 at first I I was I was breaking the down yeah well when you entered the 60 you never slowed down you break when you saw the 50 yeah oh I was knocking M crov I was trying to get you have your idea it's it's not big deal just we have a lot of crashes right here in the construction zone yeah I'm driving CU my niece pregnant and she was hurt she she in the pass SE I got you it's all good relax worried about that okay just just chill uh you still living in Chattanooga Tennessee yes sir Park View Drive yes I got you the driver tells the trooper that he and the passengers of the vehicle are coming from Houston in Texas what y'all what you doing out here uh we just left our sister where does our sister live our sister live in houst Texas oh okay when did y'all go over there uh we've been there all weekend all weekend yes oh okay how many nights did y'all sleep in Houston been out a three nights three nights you slept in Houston yeah at her sister's house yeah okay who's oh okay who's on the vle with you um cousin the vehicle uh my my uh Uncle your uncle rent the vehicle do y'all have the rental is the rental gement in the vehicle yes sir okay the trooper then ask the driver is there any narcotics in the in Houston stayed at your sister's house oh okay the pregnant passenger tells the trer they stayed in Houston for one night but the driver previously told a trooper they stayed a total of three nights having trouble telling the trooper her name who' you say Rent A Car your uncle you said your uncle yeah his wife his wife no you you don't have to call oh okay no you ain't got to call it was his wife yes yeah yeah yeah yeah there nothing illegal in that vehicle oh okay there's no large amount of marijuana in the vehicle no no no no large amount of no large amount of coc nothing in there well I smell marijuana on you and and uh I thought I smell in the car but I still wanted to ask you so I can I can search yeah look yeah look in the vehicle pop that truck all right all right just hang TI this is just a written form just saying that I'm you're giving me permission to search the vehicle and that you haven't been threatened or coerced or anything okay if you want to read it you can just um Texas is like 10 minutes that way oh he um when we when they hit the road right when y'all hit the road y'all smoke was it in that center console was where it was at in that little bag the weed there's a little baggie in that center console uh I don't know where you don't you didn't see where they grabbed the weed from when you smoking when they were smoking it no okay hold on no what kind of weed like is it a lot of weed or a little weed I'm at we smell it oh I was going to it's gone they smoked it they smoked it all that's why I'm asking you was there any more in the car or they just smoked it off oh you make ask them if they have more no I'm asking you I'll ask them too I'm asking you right now you don't you know you think they smoked at all I think they I don't know or they may have more they may have more okay well you going to go ride with him okay after the search the Troopers find 2 kilos of cocaine 4,000 tablets of MD Ma and a small matter of marijuana the driver 41-year-old Cory Harper and the passenger 39-year-old Jamal Townson were arrested and booked into the Koso Paris Correctional Center both men were sentenced to a 10year suspended sentence Cory Harper was also on federal probation on 120 month sentence and his probation was violated and he was sent back to Federal custody on a probation violation the woman was not arrested
