After showing little to no signs of cooperation, officers head to the hotel to review CCTV footage of the incident. Hey, where's the guy that See, he's coming. I went and got him. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. It was It was something. Yes. All right, can I get your Do you have an ID? Yeah. What was your first and last name? Robert. Can you tell me what happened? Well, I'm just working the back and she comes out saying, "Can you help me with this lady that doesn't want to leave? You've asked her." And so like this woman needed more protection than what they have. So I go out there to watch with my camera and my phone just to tell her that. Criminal trespassing. If I can get arrested for it, so can you. So was I. I was a Marine and I got arrested for that. Well, get out of here then. Go. We're I misunderstood and I got arrested for that [ __ ] You can't sue nobody. Private property. And I thought it was a phone cuz I was going to be polite cuz it's a phone, but it wasn't a phone. It was just a vape pen. So they're going to be hostile about the vape. Threatening criminal trespassing right there. We're just asking to get out of here. So are you. You know what? That's all she's charging. It's not a phone. I just unplugged it and placed it on the bench for her and said, "You need to go." And I kept recording her as as she left. That's why I unplug it and then I place it on the bench right there politely. Not really. They've been asked to politely leave by them before, not me. You look at him and ask her what she's doing cuz it's private property. >> You know what happened? And she just got rocks. Watch. You have that video? Yeah. I'll see what happens. I don't want him in the face, though. I'm still on property here. And that's why I was recording to say, "Keep going. Keep going." to make sure she leaves. And then she does it again twice. So she throws it like that in my face. That's why I got really, you know, angry cuz she hit him in the face with a rock. Okay. Did it hit you? Uh the first time it did. The first time when she did it like that that close to me it hit me like on the face. But this time it was just like How did you feel when she threw them? When she walked away saying you're dead, that's when I felt really like really threatened after that. Cuz she was whistling and I don't know who those two guys on the bikes were too cuz Who do you think those rocks were going to hit you? Yeah. Okay. I was like I don't know who those two guys on the bikes are she was whistling I don't know if she was calling someone. Did you want to push charges? I do. I do cuz I was arrested without question I do what are my rights for doing the wrong instead of making it my castle. I fought it. The law won. The lawyer didn't help me. So I've already talked talked to the attorney general. For your degree in marine was going to be a teacher but she didn't understand. So if they can make an example of me I would make an example of that cuz I still have other stuff. Uh can I I'm going to send you a text right now? Can you send those videos to me? Yes. Okay. Give me a little bit I'll send it to you here in a bit. I'm going to stop. Ready? Hi. I I'm going to answer my call. Okay. What's your first and last name? What's your first and last name? I'll be willing to not charge you with the concealing. Just give me your first last name and date of birth. That's all I'm asking. So I book you under Doe, okay? It's usually what we do with people who don't want to give us their first and last name. Okay? You're going to be in jail longer. Okay? All I'm asking for is your first and last name. If not, this process is going to take a whole bunch longer. Eventually I'm going to know who you are. Okay? What's your first and last name? Ma'am. Do you need water or something? I'll pour you some water. Huh? No? Okay. Clearly not ready to talk, officers turn to their investigative skills and try to figure out who this woman is based on her visible tattoos. Hi ma'am. Uh this is Officer Tyfer with LCPD. Uh I was wondering if you guys could do me a favor by chance. Three crosses. Oh my goodness. What kind of favor? Uh see if we can ID this female by uh tattoos. She doesn't want to give us her info. Uh but she has a stead uh tattoo that stands out on her neck. Um yeah. Maybe we can find her. Give me two. Okay, give me a minute. 19 seconds. Okay, here we go. What's the tattoo? So the tattoo says Candelario and it's got three crosses that go over top of it. On It's on the uh right side of her neck. Three crosses on the back of her neck 505? Uh no, we don't see any numbers. It just says uh so it says Candelario in like that scripture look. And then over over the name Candelario is three crosses. Um Three crosses on the right ear? Uh uh yeah, by the right ear. >> Three of them? Yeah, three. Three crosses and then you don't see a butterfly on the other side of the neck. Uh let me look. There is a tattoo on the left side, but I don't unless you got it covered up with a rose. I think it was a 505 with the year symbol on the right back of her neck. Also, I'm the one that I'm looking at, but if it's a rose old man or the one that comes up as Candy Moore Molejo. Yeah, her her her Can can you Yeah. Do you have an old man or SOC? Do you Yeah, do you have She was just recently in here. Uh no, surprisingly. The officer's investigative skills allowed them to identify the suspect as Candy Moore Molejo, a woman with an impressive rap sheet filled with arrests. In the end, she was charged with aggravated battery, aggravated assault, criminal damage to property, resisting arrest, as well as several outstanding warrants she has to her name.
