This corridor has been a well-known hotspot for street prostitution, and local residents, pedestrians, and drivers have been filing numerous complaints about women obstructing the roadway and flagging down vehicles. In response, the Miami-Dade Police Department launched a targeted enforcement operation. What the body cameras captured gives us a detailed look at how these operations unfold from start to finish. Don't try to run. DON'T TRY TO RUN. I'M NOT EVEN DOING ANYTHING. GO OVER THERE. All right, gave you a warning about coming over here. Go to where you from. Where are you from? No, I don't have nothing on me. Wide your stance. Can you take this to the car? Chin, bring her on the side real quick. We should do that over there for her. Bring her over here. I don't know what you're talking about. I was talking to Your boyfriend what? We talking about electric scooters. So, why you standing on the corner then? No, I was talking to my friend here. My man right here. Right away, the defendant offers an explanation. She claims she was out here talking to her boyfriend about electric scooters.
