Stop moving. I didn't know they were suspended, though. Don't I get a chance? Get down. >> On June 2nd, 2024, what looked like a simple traffic stop quickly turned into a full-blown disaster. An officer tried pulling over a car with blinding headlights, but instead of stopping, the driver kept rolling into an apartment complex like nothing was wrong. Watch the video to see what actually happened. >> [bell] >> Every ter >> I lit you up way back there. Don't I get a chance? >> No, you don't. >> But why? >> You're going to jail. >> Sir, why am I going to jail? I didn't know my license was suspended. >> Make this out. >> Please, Officer King. >> She instantly jumped out of the car screaming, "I've done nothing wrong." while admitting she'd had a DUI, lost her license, and was driving on a refusal suspension she didn't know about. The second the officer said, "You're going to jail because of the suspended license." Her switch flipped and the wrestling match began. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> My grandfather HAND BEHIND [screaming] YOUR BACK, >> SIR. >> STOP. >> OFFICER, >> STOP. >> OFFICER, please don't. I'M NOT KIDDING. >> I DID NOT KNOW I HAD SUSPENDED LICENSE. >> OH, that gives you a good reason to act LIKE A FOOL. >> NO, SIR. >> OKAY. >> I TRIED. >> I TRIED, BUT I DIDN'T KNOW THEY were suspended. >> I did not KNOW THEY WERE >> I DIDN'T [screaming] know they were suspended. >> CONGRATULATIONS ON THESE FAILINGS. THE SAME WITH YOU, OFFICER. Having listened to me. >> She fought, jerked, begged, and then, because apparently one terrible idea deserves another, bolted from the cop, slammed her apartment door, and thought that was checkmate. But doors don't stop warrants. Officers kicked it in, chased her down the hall, and she still screamed, "I can't breathe." while somehow having enough air to sprint, kick, and resist three grown men. YOU TRIED TO FIRE ME FROM THE GET-GO. >> I'M SORRY I DID. >> IT'S ALL been recorded. >> Good. >> Quit pulling AWAY FROM ME. >> ALL I did >> was ask you why were you taking me to jail for suspended license? >> Because your license are suspended. >> But y'all have I didn't know they were suspended. Let me get some gloves. >> All I asked was for him to talk to me. >> And you followed him and tried to drove off. >> I'm so sorry. >> That's what he said. >> He wouldn't talk to me. Officer, >> you don't have to. >> You don't have to. >> But why? >> He does not have to. >> If I'm trying >> He broke the law. End the story. >> I didn't break the law. Now you got a whole bunch of felonies. >> Ethan, >> bunch of felonies. >> Please to me. >> You know me. >> No, >> you know me. >> I am not like this. But my >> listen, listen very carefully. I'm going to pull that pong. >> Yes, sir. >> It is on your chest. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay, >> officer. [snorts] You know me. >> Turn around. >> I asked him plainly. >> Turn around. >> Why? Where's the other one at? I thought I saw him. >> All right, get in the car. >> I asked you. >> Get in the car. >> GET IN THE CAR OR YOU GOING TO BE PUT IN THE CAR. >> GET IN THE CAR. OFFICER, >> get in the car. >> Sir, can you please talk to >> GET IN THE CAR. MOVE YOUR LEGS. >> Can you please talk to them? >> MOVE YOUR LEGS. >> THERE'S no reason to be so rude to me. I COULDN'T FLY ALL THE WAY. >> Once tased and finally cuffed on the floor, the meltdown continued. I didn't know. On repeat like a broken record. The most surprising part, she's 41. 41, not 19. They hit her with every charge in the book, including some not seen since the early 1900s. She was charged with failure to dim headlights, defective or no tail lights, defective or no headlights, defective tires, reckless driving, failure to yield to emergency vehicle, fleeing or attempting to elude, aggravated assault, obstructing or hindering law enforcement officers, interference with government property, too fast for conditions, improper parking, windshield requirements, failure to obey traffic control device, and driving while license suspended or revoked.
