Nothing but the truth? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. Uh, what took place today in public? >> Okay. So, um, I was told by the other MIC that there was a shouting going on in the store. Um, I wasn't really sure what it was. I hadn't had any customer complaints, nothing of that nature yet. Um, so know if maybe, you know, it could have been like a Tourette's thing, something like that. So, um, I had walked past the produce to see the customer. She seemed fine. She was shopping normal. Um, so I I really wasn't even going to approach her. I I turned the corner and that's when a produce associate approached me and said that she had been um taking her cart and crashing it into the into the side of the case. um and that she had gra grabbed apples and thrown them on the floor. So I was like, "Okay, like that's a little weird." And she's shouting in the store. Um like random stuff. So I approached her. Um I said, "Hey, ma'am. Is everything okay?" Um right from there, she screamed at me and said, "Um, I don't need your help." And I said, "I don't need your effing help." Um I said, "Okay." Um I just you you can't be shouting like that in the store. Um, that's when she turned back around at me cuz she was walking away. The moment she said, "I don't need your help." She walked away. Um, so I said, "You can't you can't be shouting in the storm, ma'am." She turned back around to me and said, "I can do whatever the f I want." Um, so that's when I said, "Okay, no, you can't." She turned and she left again. Um, so I was talking to her back and I said, "Ma'am, you can't. I'm going to call the cops." Um, just kept just kept walking away. So that's when I called you guys the first time. Um, and now she's still screaming in the store. Um, she's coming up to me yelling red rum. Like, you know what that means, right? And then this is while I'm on the phone with the police. Um, and then from there, oh, and she had asked our names as well. Um, she asked what my name was. I said, Alec, the guy next to me, um, Zach. So then from while I was on the phone the the first time she's now pulled out her phone um walking through the aisles screaming down the aisles um f Publix F this store. Um I'm recording this place like this is going to be everywhere blah blah blah. Um and then she's specifically calling out my name, you know, yelling, "Where is she? Where's Alex? Where is she?" And I'm up in the front of the store at this point waiting for the police to show up. Um, so she's in the aisles yelling all that. We're up front. She finally spots me. When she spots me, um, she comes up to the front of the customer service counter with her phone up in my face, literally almost touching my face. Um, I turned around, walking away, she's following me with her phone, just screaming, um, you know, I'm going to effing get you. Um, and then red rum. She kept screaming red rum. And then after that, following the phone, blah blah blah, she stopped. Zach got in between us. Um, she went to the selfch checkout register to buy stuff. Um, at that point, she was distracted with other customers. Um, there was multiple like altercations in the store with other customers. So, >> like verbal. >> Yeah. like and so much was going on with being on the phone with you guys like and and me watching her like I don't even know what customers she interacted with. >> Sure. >> Um but yeah, there was multiple um so she was just cussing everyone out. Um >> then she left the selfch checkout and went up to the customer service counter. Um was buying her groceries. I was on the phone. She was buying her groceries. Um, she left the store because a customer, I guess, had called the police as well. >> So, the customer was calling us out of the store while she was still buying her groceries at the customer service counter. So, I'm thinking like the police are here. I was like, "Okay, perfect." Like, she's still in the store. I left the store with the customer and then that's when she left the store with her groceries and she started screaming, "Ah, where are the cops now? Like, they're not effing here." Blah, blah, blah. So, that was that. Um, I went back in the store cuz I thought it was over. I think like a minute and a half later, I walked back out and she's just in the parking lot screaming at other people. Um, I saw her in front of this one car by the Duffy side um trying to like park and she's up in their window and then they're cussing. So that's when I that's when I called >> the police. Um, she was cussing with people in the parking lot. She's standing in the middle of the street for like a good 25 seconds. Like there's traffic flow trying to go. They're going around her. Um it really was just that. It was just a lot of cussing, a lot of threats. Um at one point I was caught on the phone. She walked past me again. You know, >> I'm going to effing kick your ass type thing. And >> did she ever touch you? >> No, she did not. >> Okay. Okay. Um well, thank you very much for the statement.
