December 20th 2023 boka Raton Florida a traffic stop turned into pure chaos Rebecca Watkins was caught speeding 120 mph on Glades Road when the deputy pulled her over she argued refused to cooperate and then made a dangerous Choice despite the depuy's warnings Watkins sped off at a high rate of speed with the deputy still holding her driver's license minutes later her car was total after crashing into a tree her passenger was hurt and Rebecca she ran away on foot this is how it all went down as well as on the also interested doing that on from 31 sh office any reason we're driving that fast completely stopped he's not trying to go nowhere come on nothing that's a complete change of behavior I'm going call two jaes yeah if we can get into the place without getting doged it after the collision with the Audi Watkins took off into the night authorities established a perimeter and called for K9s to search her out video of police dogs searching in the brush the dogs combed the area sniffing for any trace of Watkins but she was nowhere to be found they even deployed a helicopter its Spotlight cutting through the darkness searching for any sign of her Escape but despite all their efforts Watkins managed to slip away for 3 days she stayed off the radar leaving both police and the public wondering where she had gone Rebecca was arrested 3 days later and is now facing serious charges including reckless driving fleeing from law enforcement and leaving the scene of a crash with injuries despite her dangerous Behavior she spent just 6 hours in jail before being released on an $88,000 bond this isn't her first runin with the law either back in 2020 she was charged with using her car to ram a neighbor's vehicle those charges were eventually dropped but it seems like history
