On July 28th, 2026, police responded to a possible break-in, but the investigation took an unexpected turn when officers discovered an active arrest warrant. >> What else is going on? Is this your apartment? >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, what happened? >> We came home to or we came over here to drop her off back at home. She was at my place for a weekend. Um when we come back, we noticed that the door is pushed back. This was not like it before. This was normal as hell like all these other doors. >> Uh-huh. >> This is pushed back. This was played with. Somebody was trying to get in. So, we wanted to report this. >> Okay. >> That right there is pushed out, too. We do not know if they got in or not. >> Okay. >> Can't confirm that. The door was closed. We don't know if anything was taken. They told us to leave everything alone on the phone. >> Sure. Okay. >> That's what we know. >> Okay. How can we get a 25? I got contact with them. Um now, is it Kendall, right? >> Mhm. >> And this is your Do you live here, too, or >> No. >> Uh Kendall with a K? >> Yeah. >> K e n All right. Do you want me to check the apartment, make sure there's nobody in there, or what do you guys want to >> Um we already went in. >> Okay. >> The key Oh, mind you, I forgot to tell you this. The key was not working. We actually came to drop her off yesterday. Totally forgot about this. Key wouldn't want to go in, wouldn't want to work day before. Mind you, though, >> not doing this before. >> we just had it maintenance. We just had maintenance come and check the door out. Door was perfectly fine. It's working now. That's only because we it opened it up the first time. What the first time? He had to Oh, yeah. My buddy right there had to >> How long you been living here? How long you been living here? >> About um um 2 months now. >> 2 months? Have you had any trouble with anything like that? >> No. >> Doors or anything? >> She No, no. Yeah, and she hasn't had no trouble with that, but she has had trouble with somebody following her the past couple weeks. The same vehicle she sees over and over again with the same person in it? >> Yeah. >> Over and over again? >> And the door wasn't like this before? >> It was not like that before. >> And then did your You said your buddy had to hit it to bump it in or >> Had to hit it to bump it in. We left Friday, wasn't here on Saturday, Sunday, right? We got here Monday to come in. We couldn't get it open. I didn't want to put it, right? So we left, come back the next day, which is today, and then we had to bump it open. And then it didn't come to my head that somebody could have been with it. >> Yeah. Can I interrupt you? >> I didn't it come to my head until like I seen this and I was like, damn, I just took my whole finger up in this [ __ ] right? And all this right here this was all >> Yeah. >> This is all, you know, a tool. I don't know if it was a tool or whatever, but it's a tool. Like metal. Tight [ __ ] >> Can you Can you open this so I can see the actual frame? >> Yeah, open the uh door. >> So you've been gone a couple days, just came back today or were you here yesterday? >> yesterday, yeah. >> But didn't open the door? We couldn't get to the door. >> Yeah, they weren't answering the phone, so we >> Oh, your light right here. Okay. Yeah, so I mean you looks like you got some some like paint transfer. >> Some what? >> Some like paint transfer on your door frame here. >> Mhm. >> Like it was stuck. >> Yeah. Cuz that that was probably having to push it cuz it was stuck. >> Did they recently paint this? Did they maybe paint this like while you guys were gone? >> Not that I know of. >> Would they have painted the trim or anything? >> No. >> Not that they >> I feel like if they if they if they would have she would have been letting on that Have you been told anybody was supposed to come in your room, too? >> Well, I mean, you see what I'm saying? If you look at this door, it looks like there there was paint and it got stuck. Like they Like there was wet paint and they got stuck. >> Yeah, there was paint on here. >> Should be okay. >> They did a new thing of paint, could have got a little sloppy with it, got it on the door, which then when it dries, it's going to cause it to stick. >> Maybe they didn't let it dry all the way. But the But the issue is it's like on here, but it's not on here. So, maybe they got some dots on it here, close the door. >> What I would like is like I was Is there any way that we can change these cameras just to like >> Is there new Is this new here, the gray? >> Do you have a time reference? >> Is it That's That's new? >> Yeah, I don't remember that being there. Do you remember that? >> What? >> Like the gray? See the gray paint? >> No. >> Well, that's gray paint. >> That's gray paint. >> Okay, that might be from this. >> some up here. Was this Was this gray before out here and they just painted painted it white? >> Not sure. I have no idea about that. >> And you already You checked your There's nothing else going on, right? Nothing >> There's nobody in there. There's nothing else in there we see. >> Okay. I don't see anything on the back of the door. >> No, but there's >> Block on room 25. Two by eight. >> There aren't that many people that can go through here. >> And you said you just got your locks redone? >> Yeah, we just cuz she got locked out of the house in the >> I didn't get my locks redone. >> Yeah, I mean, we can uh get in touch with the uh management to see about the cameras. We don't have access to them live like right now. >> Yeah, I understand that. >> Um I'll grab a couple pictures of this just so we can at least document it. The paint, at least. Uh I just need it right there just so I can get a shot of the of that. It doesn't have to be like held open or open. I mean, I don't think anybody broke in. >> I think somebody maybe at least was attempting to I don't think they got in. >> Yeah, I mean, they could have They could have been trying. All right, Kendall. Did you hear that? >> I was what? >> Oh, well, I didn't know if you heard the radio. >> attention. I'm sorry. I'm kind of spacing out. >> Okay. Um so, you there's a warrant out for your arrest, okay? Did you have a domestic battery or something? It sounds like. >> Domestic battery in >> That's what the warrant's for. Did you get arrested for domestic at some point? Not paying your fine or something? >> No. >> Well, we'll have to get it figured out, okay? But, we'll take you downstairs at least for now until we can get this confirmed, okay? All right. Um yeah, I mean, so we'll document obviously your what's going on here and then we'll have to get in touch with them about the camera cuz we we don't have access to the cameras, unfortunately, live, okay? So, is there anything you're going to need out of here? >> Um maybe my wallet. >> Okay. Nope. >> You said for domestic >> Yeah, did you get arrested? >> No. I did a couple years ago but it didn't happen with my ex-boyfriend. >> Did Is it Sometimes there's like a fine. Do you have Do you guys have a key? >> Uh no, I think it's attached to her phone. >> I don't I just want to make sure your animal gets fed and stuff.
