On August 3rd, 2024, officers responded to a restaurant for a call of a battery that had taken place between two employees. >> Tell me what happened. >> Pretty much all started yesterday. He started arguing with our other coworker, was disrespecting him for no reason. It started the stupid thing over politics. I told him, "Do not bring politics up. It starts arguments at work." That's exactly what ensued. They got in each other's face. one of um I had to send him home because he pissed everybody off and I was just completely over it at that point. Um our other coworker got so mad cuz he called his mom. He's listening to everything I'd say. He called his mom. So he you can see the ambulance. He punched the basement door down there. >> He punched the door down there. >> Yeah. The bathroom basement door. >> The guy who was outside. >> Yes. And then same coworker was here today. Both of them start bickering once again going at it because he keeps saying under his breath. Paul was home for the second time. The other dude got so mad he left home crying because he's not like he's not a confrontational person and he started calling me names, calling me fat and all this Said it's the only job I can get. >> Okay. >> So disrespect. Does she have any signs of being involved in a in a uh in any sort of physical altercation? >> No. >> Cuz she was involved in the battery on this. So, I'll if if she's got no feasible explanation of how this guy is involved in a battery or whatever and claims that she is and she's got no marks on her, evidence says this guy is telling us the truth and she needs to be arrested. Man, I'll tell you exactly what your friend just said. Did you delete that? Because I can figure out whether or not you deleted the video off of it. So, I'll start from there. >> I've never had the video. >> I have video showing you in the back walking around videotaping it on the >> My phone was in my hand. I'll show you right now. We're investigating and certainly we'll arrest anybody that did any sort of crime. >> Okay. Well, he slapped me in my face and I'm not going for that. I want to press charges on him. >> When we first got here, you weren't honest with us that of what you actually did do to him. >> How was I not honest? If he hits me first, that's okay. >> No, you didn't tell us that you kicked him and that you were spitting on. >> Okay. Well, he hit me in my face. So I hold as you just I asked you if you touched him at all and you said no. >> But you did. >> Well, he hit me. That's okay. >> No, it's not. But I what I'm trying to understand is why you didn't call us when he hit you >> because I don't know. I wasn't thinking about that first. I was thinking about protecting myself. Okay. >> So, we have a video of everything that happened. I need your boyfriend's name. >> I don't want to give it. It's part of the investigation. >> You have information that I need on this investigation. >> Itols that involves a battery to you and it involves a battery to your coworker as well. >> You're right now you're obstructing my my work here. But that's not my information to give out. >> That's illegal. >> Do you know you know who it was, though? >> No. >> You do know who he is. >> Okay. Okay. You can be placed under arrest. >> I'm sorry. He hit me first. I don't know what you guys want me to say. I want to press charges against him. So, what's his name? >> I want to press charges against him, please. >> I need to know his name. >> And I need to press charges against him. >> Okay. Well, you're you're obstructing my investigation. >> You understand that? >> So, what's his name? >> And then he he's allowed to antagonize people like this. If you don't give me his name, you're going to end up getting arrested cuz you have information that's very pertinent to what happened here and you're withholding that from me. That's obstructing justice. I've got no reason to believe anything she's told us.
