Hello. >> How are you? >> Good, sir. How are you? >> Not too bad. >> Good. Mr. Shay, >> uh, yeah, one of us called, right? >> Okay. Okay. Officer Flores through police. >> What's going on tonight? >> So, I'm Thomas Fellows with Colorado Petrol. The gentleman, he just walked in the house. His boss came, I think, to relieve him of his duties. Um, he invited a old girl to come with him in that truck right there. Um, he's the head of security here. >> Oh, is he? >> Uh-huh. Um, knew we were from start to finish. Um, we don't work in really often. We're out of Broomfield. Okay. Area. >> Um, but he reached out to us. We let him know we were years old and he had a full-blown relationship. At first he was kind of scared. Um but once he believed that she was a female, he ended up inviting her to work, told her, you know, did >> and just stuff like that. He admitted it on camera completely, which if you guys give us an email, we we don't have every message because there were some messages when we didn't have a print. >> Okay. >> But we'll certainly give you everything, but this is your book. Um this just my notes um from start to finish. And then we got a recording of him that just says he's a fuck up and he was going in that truck. Um, Mits everything and >> Okay. >> So, we kind of talked. We were just waiting for you guys. We told him you guys were coming. We told >> him that went inside. >> Yeah. Him and his boss. His boss's name was like >> Ernie. Ernie. >> He was the older guy carrying the bag. And >> but yeah, they they um never told us to leave. We told him we weren't law enforcement. We could leave. And he's like, "No, you're fine." Um, we told him we were waiting for you guys. So, he actually kind of we kept telling him like, "You can go. You can go. You he didn't want to leave, I think, because he knew you guys were coming." >> Okay. >> But his boss, as soon as you guys came, he said, "Go inside." So, that's kind of what he did. But give you my ID. >> Yeah. No, if I can get your information real fast. It's a good contact. >> Thomas Fellows. >> You guys have initiated this with him. When did this start? >> He initiated with us about a little under two weeks ago. >> A little over two weeks ago. Like what what what's the approximate date or exact here? I think it was like October 16th. >> Okay. >> Um he reached out to us just saying, "Hey, he did not know our age at this time." Okay. >> Because on the dating website, we can't put obviously. So she I think she had it like 19 on there. But immediately we tell him that and he tells us he's 44 and um said he was looking for more than friends and again like so we meet him on meet me and then we always switch him over to text now because if they get disbanded on meet me everything goes away we lose it all it's harder for detectives to pull it up so we just move him right over to text now can't erase anything even though he didn't erase anything um but it was meet me moved him over to text now several times he even says we're like oh no wor yeah yeah yeah he knew um and and like I said he was super um honest here in here. I'm the head security guy or uh security supervisor at the hospital. And then he said we couldn't meet him at his house. He has to meet. He's the one that has to meet. But he couldn't do it at his house cuz he had a 17 and 19 year old child. Well, we just found out cuz we just talked to his wife. He's he's got a wife at home. >> Okay. >> Um so he wanted her to come here at 11:30. That's when he would have his first break. Um that's all in here, too. Um actually some of that is we have the the last few messages on the phone, right? Because we don't have the printer. But again, if you give us the email, we'll get it. >> Absolutely not. And I'll give you my card and you can if you can please send me that put that all into evidence. >> Home address and date of birth. >> Just so she's the person who was speaking. >> She's the >> So basically um >> the three of us will be like the people who like come out and like talk to the guy. Um and then we have like several people who text them. really appreciate that. Thank you. >> Yeah, sometimes it's me, sometimes it's him, sometimes Yeah. >> Okay. Yeah. So, it's an actual person. >> And you said West Virginia. >> Yeah. And she's she's you know my age. >> You happen to know her date of birth. >> Oh, yeah. It's >> Thank you. >> And he's a very honest dude. But we'll give you the whole video from start to finish. You You will have every interaction we had sent to wherever you want. email. Sometimes we get a link like an evidence link, whatever. I don't know. >> Absolutely. No, I'll definitely give you my contact information. I have my email if you guys can just send it to me. That way I could review that and put it all into the case and upload it all as well. So, >> um, can you get the case number? Yeah. And put it on for me. >> So, and if I understand, I mean, the more details aren't there, I imagine, but he agreed to meet up with her 11:30. That truck right there. as well in the truck because he was afraid. But there should be a towel in there specifically. >> Yeah. I asked him like in the truck and I said, "What's it for?" He's like, "Well, because she said she I said, "Who said I said she?" >> So, there's the case number on that and all my information is on the front there. Okay. email. >> It sounded like um so he wanted to speak with you guys. Both Ray and his boss wanted to speak with you guys, but they requested that >> Oh, there you go. Yeah, they requested you guys go in and speak with him. They didn't want to come out here. >> What time did they start talking? >> I don't think that's going to show in here. That will show. >> I just know it's the 16th, right? >> Uh 7:26 a.m. was the first message from him. And that could be Eastern time. >> It would be. So it' be like >> it's two hours from >> Yeah. So it' be 9:26, right? >> Or 526 hours. It'll It'll all be on there when we get it to you. I I don't remember. >> And you said you're leaving this thing. >> Yeah. This Yeah, this is yours. This is yours. Um I have this and there's just notes, but I mean I'll leave everything in there. And then we had a Didn't we Are we Okay. Yeah, just that. and then all the chat was that's just a picture that he sent to us >> and the chats get spicy on 10:23 at about 3:00 because it there's that he does for a good week beforehand. So So if you're reading through you might uh start dozing off till you get to 10:23 >> hits the hits the ground running. >> Um he tried to meet her like a couple of days ago said she can come up to the work but he's like you got school tomorrow so wait till the weekend. That's kind of how tonight came about. >> Okay. >> So, so he he did try to set it up for >> Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. And then he was like, "No, I don't want you to miss school. I don't want it to be late. You know, maybe maybe Friday." And then so, you know, Friday came and he's like, "All right." At first, we thought he wasn't going to do it. Cuz he's like, "Well, I don't know how much time I'm going to have, but I really want to see you." And then full-blown went again. So, okay. >> Cuz we couldn't go to the house because his wife was there. So, he was in the Navy. He was kicked out of the Navy for similar kind of thing. He's just a he's a he's he's a piece of work. >> Not children, but he said he was looking at porn on some computers for the Navy. So, it's just piece of work, but that's yours. >> Hold on. Thank you. >> Is there anything else you gentlemen need from me? I mean, my contact information's on there. >> I think that's going to be it. >> You don't think so? >> Like I said, I appreciate you guys' time. I I'll see what's going to happen with this. Obviously, it'll probably get forwarded to >> We appreciate >> Yeah, we do appreciate you guys. Thank you so much. He was just telling us as soon as you pulled up, they like walked in. He's like, "Please tell them to come see me." And his name was Ernie. >> Ernie. >> Okay. That was the boss. >> Yeah. Just the boss. >> Ernie and Raymond. Ernie and >> they're both standing right there. >> Okay. >> Yeah. So, thank you guys. I go put this in the car. Hello, Mr. Ray. Yes, sir. >> How you doing, Ray? I'm Mar Flores. Sir, I'm director of safety security here and my boss is here. So, if you want us out, we'll be in the office. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Um, we can just get your information real fast. >> Sure. >> Yeah. Thank you. And >> that's myself. And >> And you said your name, Mr. Ray. How you say your last name? That's two reasons. >> That's how I tell people. >> Perfect. Okay. >> I'm trying not to put my hands in my pocket. >> No. Well, I appreciate that. >> All right. So, I'm officer Flores. Okay. So, obviously, you know, while we're here, okay, >> you know, and and I'm just going to tell you right now, okay, I'm not saying you're I'm not judging you or anything. I just want you to be honest with me. Okay. >> So, just in your words, just walk me through what happened. Okay. I've been having a convers I met this girl on an app. It's called Meet Me. >> Okay. >> Uh her name is Heather. >> When was that? >> Oh, couple weeks maybe. >> I sorry I don't know the exact Yeah. >> Um she asked how old I was. I told her. Um then I asked her how old she was. She said she was Um, and conversation continued for a little while. She had asked for my phone number to talk off of me. And I provided it. >> Okay. >> The conversation continued through text message. Um, >> I'm sorry. I having a hard time. You want to know if you want to step outside or you want to stay here? if you want to speak up a little bit. >> I'm sorry. I just can't. No, no. >> Um, >> so you said you you started talking to her through text message after you >> Yeah, we started talking through text message um like in the mornings. She I text her when I got off work cuz I was working 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Great work shift here. >> Um, so I text her in the morning, you know, good morning, whatever. She'd text me. I'd usually be sleeping. Um, but then we talked after school until I came to work. Um, and we had set up for her to come up here tonight. And >> what did you guys set up? >> Uh, she was going to come up on either my breaks or my lunch. And uh uh I we had didn't really have a set what was going to happen. Okay. Um but um and it probably could have ripped it up which I'm sorry. Okay, I'm trying to say that again. So you last thing I kind of hear you saying is you weren't sure what you guys were going to do, but you mentioned your trucks and just I got cut off on the radio. >> Oh, that's okay. Um, no, she she was going to come up and meet and we were just going to sit in the in my truck, which is out there. Um, well, my grandfather's truck, excuse me. Um, >> which truck is it? >> It's the one straight out facing us back in the >> the older one or the new one? >> The older one. >> Okay. Okay. Um and um we had discussed what she had done previously. She said they only win this car. >> So she she just tell you other details about other I guess. >> Yeah. The one other Okay. >> Okay. Yeah. And then I came to work tonight and the other three gentlemen stopped me on the way in. I have called I did call my wife. She is aware of what happened. My bosses aren't aware of what happened. >> Hey, so it's not the Crew Brothers. It's a different group from Broomfield. Um, but it's pretty much everything that the Crew Brothers do. Um, they're just a little bit more pleasant than them. Um, yeah. So, it's just it's almost the exact same thing. So, we have a full-on like binder. Um, you know, uh, they have video footage, so they're going to email that to Flores. Um, they gave us the binder with all the text messages and all the all the email or all the messages sent from each other. So, right now, we already got done talking to the RP and now we're interviewing the u the subject right now. Um, and he's pretty much telling us everything. So, yeah, I yeah, he's it's he's very up forward about everything. So, >> I don't know. So, that's that that's the thing. So, we when Alex and I dealt with the crew brothers on the same thing, we had the exact same stuff happen. Like we had the binder of the proof and then even the sub like the sub the suspect even like gave us a fullon like admittance of everything. and he was like, "Yeah, all this stuff I came out here to to, you know, do what I said I was going to do." >> Just FYI, my boss, the regional manager is here because I've been on the job for a week. So, he Ernie and he'll come out because he's talking to uh the security staff that kind of saw stuff and everything. So, we came busting balls up here. And then uh you might want to make sure you talk to Ernie because of what was said between the two. >> Okay. Okay. Um did he say anything to you out there in here or >> um I came in, you know, when you guys rolled up, you were right behind me. Came in, checked on the crew here. When I came out, Ernie, my boss, and we're talking and okay, he's gonna get terminated due to him saying that he fucked up. His wife is mad at him. Um, and that the person he was talking to. >> Where's Where's Ernie? >> He's in the office right here. I'll be back. I'll be back to visit a minute. >> Thank you, Ernie. At least Burgerman. Nice to meet you. >> Nice to meet you. >> Wish he was under different circumstances. >> Absolutely. It's usually the case. >> All right. So, um, >> and you are the head of security? I'm the director. >> The the title is operations manager for Northern Colorado. So I'm in charge of security for Gley MCR and everything up in Fort Collins. >> Okay. So what did he tell you? He told me that told me that he'd been conversing with a girl on Meet Up or something like that. They asked and she was supposed to come up here and see him during his break. He said that at some point during the conversation she did say and uh he said he's had problems with this in the past whenever he got out of the military. U he said he reached out to the VA a couple of days ago to go visit again and it just didn't he said it just didn't click with him to stop >> what he was doing. >> I know I shouldn't I I know I shouldn't have done it. And for what for whatever it's worth that little switch in your brain that supposed to tell you hey dummy this is not right. didn't tell me, "Hey, dummy, this is not right." I have had issues in the past. Um, I was discharged from the Navy on the government computers. Um, and I was honest with those guys about that. Um, >> when were you in the Navy? >> When? >> Yeah. >> 03 to 06. >> Okay. Uh, so I did get some counseling after I got back to Colorado, about 6 months worth um that my wife's urging to try to get some help to stop. And so yeah, now she knows that she knows exactly what happened here tonight. >> She's probably not happy. >> She is beyond not happy. At a loss for words, not happy. Um, not sure what'll happen when I go home. get like if I get to go home, right? >> Okay. So, we so we have copies of everything, you know. So, you you're telling me one side of it. I mean, that's your choice. You know, obviously I'm not going to push you when we have the other stuff. So, I mean, I can tell you right now, you know, obviously it's my job to document all this. Um, it's going to be forwarded to detectives. Okay. And they're going to follow up. Okay. So, um, so you you were aware. >> Yes. >> And you were aware you guys or you had set up to to come over here and essentially >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. I appreciate the honesty, though. >> You have anything else? I mean, I can document them for you. I know you said that you've struggled with this in the past and you're seeking help. >> I am going to call on Monday to be see if I can't get in to see him. >> It's probably a good idea. You know, I don't know what's going to happen with the employer. I haven't told you anything. >> Uh yeah, he's he has terminated or will be when he goes through here. So he knew somebody was coming and he knew that. >> All right. >> You going to hook him up? Can I have my uniform off of him? >> Um the jacket. >> I would prefer the shirt and everything. I'm going to get his badge. I already told him he's fired because the simple fact that he's bringing somebody to this facility to have I don't care whether she's 40 or ain't fucking coming back, bro. >> Yeah. >> I was a cop for 30 years. I ain't tolerate. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> I got nothing. >> Um >> and his his truck's here, so I don't know if you're going to impound it or >> No, we'll leave that to you. It's on private. >> This is not private pract. >> Like I say, I was a cop in Texas. I did the last 20 years of my career at the district attorney's office. Yeah. >> Most of my stuff is murder, capital murder stuff. So, I get it. I just don't know what your laws are here. >> Yeah. So, the the vehicle will stay. Okay. Um >> I don't know whether we'll be arresting him tonight or we're passing this on to the detectives for them to make final decision. I mean, it's kind of a whole pre-wrapped package handed to them. >> And that seems >> We got We got two crews in Colorado that do this. This seems to be the more professional crew. We got another one. Just be glad it wasn't them cuz they like to do the fullon like almost paparazzi assault harassment. >> Well, it's my understanding it's being live streamed on YouTube. Yeah. Because I've got people that are calling my other officers that are here. So now that you say that, they said the house soup came down. Yeah, they're getting a ton of calls here already. >> Yeah. >> So, yeah. No, be glad it wasn't the other crew, though, cuz it it's they're they're worse. They are >> they are they they show up with >> like Yeah. So, I don't I don't know what the official decision is going to be tonight, but >> Okay. Well, I told him to keep his ass standing right there >> until y'all made a decision what you're going to do. >> Okay. >> I'd like to have his uniform and shit back so mug shots not released with his >> HSS all over it. >> Yeah. >> At least the jacket and that shirt. >> The cap. The cap belongs to him. He gets to keep it, but I'd prefer to have all my shit back. >> Okay. All right. And I'm just going to review this with you one more time. Okay. And I just want to make sure I have it accurate, right? I don't want to mess anything up for you. Okay. So, you met her on Meet Meet Me a couple weeks ago. Um, you guys kind of started talking. You guys, she asked about her age or you asked about her age. She told you she then you guys progressed to texting. You guys were texting after work, which is for you in the morning. And then after school for her, right? Um and then tonight you set up to to meet with her at your truck. Um you know, you also mentioned that she had told you she Okay. Um okay. And then and then if I understand correctly, I mean, you told me that you you had every intent to >> probably. I mean, probably. >> Yes. >> Like I said, I appreciate your honesty. You know, it's I mean, the best way to handle these situations is just to walk through them and you know, I know I know you called your mom or I'm sorry, excuse me, your wife. You called your wife and kind of told her about this when you mentioned to me. She's a little unhappy. >> Yeah, she knows exactly what happened. >> Okay. What's her name? >> I had to think about her phone. I just don't like, >> you know, that happens sometimes. >> I just go in and swipe it in. >> No, no, I understand. I appreciate you remembering though. carefully. >> Yeah. >> And and you mentioned to me that in in your time in the Navy from 03 to06 um you said you were discharged for >> I was discharged in 06 uh given a general under honorable conditions with the reason code of misconduct. Okay. And you mentioned to me that around that time, dude, you >> And you don't have anything else for me, Mr. >> Not that I can think of off my head. >> Okay. Well, I appreciate everything. Um, we're just going to hang tight right now. Um, if you want to gather your stuff, I'll walk outside. Can we log his truck? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Thank you. >> Yeah. >> Okay. I guess they were saying that they want your uniform. >> There's your jacket and your shirt. >> Yeah, that's what I was talking if he needed anything. >> The jacket shirt. >> Yeah. I mean, while he's on the phone, I guess since he told my partner, he could probably just get back. >> Okay. Yes. Everything else I had on my back. >> Yeah. >> Sorry. >> No, that's fine, sir. I was going to ask if you had anything for him. I guess he wanted to know as well. >> Say, do you other than my badge and shirt and coat? >> Yeah. Any anything that belongs to HSS I need. >> Let's see. My belt is actually in my locker. >> Okay. >> It's not locked. Just turn the lock. I didn't push the lock closed. You can just turn it and get the belt out of there. Okay. Uh, my earpiece is in there. >> Okay. >> So, you can get that back. Um, the rest of my shirts are all at home. >> Okay. >> So, if you want, I can bring them back during >> Why don't you call me? >> Do you have my number on your personal phone? >> Yeah. >> If not, if not, >> actually, that's how I talk to you most of the time. >> Actually, that is. So, yeah, you can just contact me. So, you're not going to be able to come back on this property. >> Yep. You're right there. >> Look at me for a second. You're not able to come back on this property unless it's medically related. Yeah. You know, Impala if you know and as soon as you get stabilized, you ask the guy to go somewhere else, right? >> And I would suggest that's probably UC Health's policy for any UC Health facility, >> right? Just because the nature of of what happened tonight. >> So, if you ever need medical assistance, go to the closest facility. But there's a good chance you'll get stabilized. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> I assumed I I knew Marilyn was going to have to. >> Yeah. >> You know. >> Yeah. Is he going with y'all or? >> Yes, sir. >> So, I'm going to detain you right now. Okay. We're trying to figure out what's going to happen. >> Uh your vehicle. >> Mhm. Do you want to give me the keys to your truck so that your wife can come get your truck or do you going to take your keys with you? >> Because your vehicle's on private property. They're not going to take you. >> Trying to think. Shit. There's nobody else who can drive that truck. >> Um, we'll leave it there and you and can figure out. >> Yeah, I'll just have to. >> But I I would like to have all my assistant. I don't have anything else in the pocket. Sorry. I guess I can just leave that attached to the shirt. >> Yeah. >> Pen is mine. >> And you didn't actually come on duty, so you don't have the keys. >> No, I don't have anything that >> the handcuff key. Is that a handcuff key? It is, but it's mine. It's one I paid for. >> Okay. >> Oh, yeah. You probably don't want me to have that. Yeah. >> More pen. >> The notepad. I don't need it. >> Okay. That's everything else. I'm sorry, Ray, but like I told you while ago, you know, if you have a problem, the best way to fix a problem, you first of all, you got to admit that you have that problem. So, >> okay. But yeah, I'll call you with the rest and see when we can arrange to get you the uniforms. >> Yeah. Just deal with what you got to deal with. Don't worry about the uniform later. >> You want to take one tip with that, Mr. Ray? Okay. >> So, at this time, I'll have you turn around. Put your hands on your back. Okay. Like I said, right now you're just being detained. Okay. >> We're going to figure out what we're going to do with this. >> You need anything else from us? >> I just like to have >> Okay. Can you give that to me? >> Yeah. >> Thank you. >> Thank you. Can you give me any adisement on the guys that were here with the cameras as far as Colorado and they'd be here if I tell them to get off the property or >> Well, this is private property. >> Okay, roger that. So, roger that. >> Thank you. I appreciate you. >> Yep. Did >> you guys call yet? >> Yeah. >> You good, right? >> Yeah. I'm not excuse my way. Maybe a little bit. >> Yeah, absolutely. Okay. >> All right. Hang tight. Okay. There is a towel. I thought you know this is >> okay. >> Yep. Thanks. >> Uh Mr. Ray, >> so I'm going give you Miranda rights. Okay. I'd like to ask you some questions regarding the crime. You have the right to remain silent. Any statement you make can and will be used against you in court. You have the right to have a lawyer present with you while you are answering my questions. You cannot afford to hire a lawyer and would like one present while you are answering my questions. The court will appoint a lawyer for you without cost. Do you understand each of these rights I've read to you? >> Yes. >> Having these rights in mind, do you wish to talk to me now? >> Sure. >> Okay. Well, I appreciate that. And you understand, you know? >> Yes. >> Okay. So, you know, right off the bat, so what was that towel for? You know, Okay. And that was because you had the intent to correct. >> Yes. >> Did you bring any >> No. >> You okay? Any anything like that? >> No sir. >> No. Okay. Um and and real fast you said she was she was she was telling you online or >> she said she >> Okay. All right. Mr. Ray. So I'll tell you right now what's going to happen. Okay. So right now you are under arrest. Okay. I am taking you to the Rock County Jail. Um and you will be booked and charged up there. Okay. You have any questions for me or anything? No. >> Okay. Well, I appreciate your honesty. Okay. And I appreciate your willingness to talk to me. Okay. >> I appreciate you being honest with me. So, >> absolutely. Yeah. No, that's not my start. A lot of people. I mean, and I will say, you know, I was under the impression initially we weren't going to do anything, but you know, get some other information and that's why we're here now. Okay. >> Okay. >> So, give me a second. We'll be out of here. Unless there's anything else that you feel I should know that I didn't ask or would be helpful. >> Not that I think of right now. >> Okay. Well, anytime, Mr. Ray. Okay. >> Thank you. >> Okay. Um, so we're just looking at everything right now and I have some other questions. Okay. >> Okay. >> Understand that I mean with you, Miranda, you can revoke it at any time. Okay. Um, but I I will say I appreciate your honesty. All right. You know, it says a lot about your character and like I said, I just I'm hoping to, you know, just get the full details and information and everything. Okay. Um, so with that, you still willing to talk to me? >> Yes. >> Okay. Well, I appreciate that. I will ask you this. Okay. So, um, were you did you agree or offer to give anything to her when you met up with her tonight? >> Like, what do you mean? >> Uh, money, um, clothing, anything of value? No. No intent to give her anything like that? >> No. >> Okay. Okay. Um, were you going to take pictures of her? >> No. >> No. no pictures, anything. Um, and I and I will ask you this, okay? Um, just because you seem, like I said, you're you're pretty honest with me and I appreciate it. Um, I will ask you this. Um, have you ever done this before? >> No, sir. >> Never before. Okay. So, I So, I take it you haven't had any successful >> um ventures doing this before with anybody else? >> I've never even attempted it before >> really. Okay. Um, well, and I will ask you this. Um, do you I mean, like I said, you don't have to answer, but do you have anything like that? >> No. >> No, you don't look at that. >> No. >> Okay. No, not at all. >> That's fine. And like I said, I appreciate your honesty. Um, there's one other question. Um, with everything kind of that's going on, I know it's a lot to process, you know, and it's overwhelming probably, you know, say the least, you Yeah. Yeah. >> But but I will say this, okay? >> Um you this is your chance to to come clean and have a clean slate, you know, walking into this, >> you know, situation, you know, and and I want to give you that opportunity to, you know, get anything off your chest or event or anything like that cuz, you know, I know you told me this is the first time, but if there's anything else, I mean, I'm all ears. No, there's nothing. I mean, there's I I going back to what you told me before the when you came up here. >> Um you said you showed up with the intention of not doing anything and then you got some more information. >> Yeah. >> What can I ask what changed? >> Yeah, absolutely. So, generally, so with the statements that you made, >> there was enough for an arrest. Okay. >> Okay. >> Like I said, and that's just based on your honesty. Okay. you know, honesty. You know, what they say, the truth will set you free. You know, in this situation, I mean, I will say that it may not seem like that, but but right now, I think this is a good opportunity for you to kind of assess your life and, you know, you're in the military. I was in the military, too. You know, understand that, you know, stupid things happen, but you learn from them and then you move forward. Okay? It's not how you fall, it's how you get up, right? So, I just want to put that on you, and I'm not judging you. Like I said, I think you made a bad choice tonight. >> I will. Yes, I will agree with you on that. >> Yeah. >> And I mean, like I said, and and I'm here and I'm going walk you through every step of the process. Okay. >> I have no I have no reason to lie to you. Yeah. >> So, um with that, um you know, the towels in your car, we saw it there. Um would you give us permission to grab that out of your truck? >> It's your It's your choice. I mean, you don't have to, but I mean, would you give us consent to to search your truck? And >> I mean some unlock if you if you if you need a towel for whatever reason. >> I mean it's your choice. >> I mean I I brought it for that purpose. I told you what I brought it for and and if you if you need to if you >> there's nothing else in there other than my cigarettes and my vape and stuff like that, but >> Okay. Okay. >> Will I be able to let my wife know where I'm at? >> I I tell you what, you know, I will definitely call her for you right now. Okay. before I put you, you know, before we get booked into the jail. Um, I'll definitely call her in front of you. Okay. I'll give you that opportunity. I I don't have to do that, but I definitely will for you. Okay. >> May I try to open this with that password? >> Um, okay. So, swipe on the screen 5280. Okay. >> Okay. Perfect. We know if you want um What do you want to tell your wife? >> Yeah. I mean, I don't >> Do you want to, you know, I'll help you out. Do you want to call her right now? >> Um >> or you want to wait till we get to >> um We can call her now. Um >> I don't know how to use your phone. >> I call that hit the little square on the bottom. >> This one >> and then hit the Sorry, I'm going to try to point but I'm a little far away. Sorry. there. Okay. >> And if you tap on if you hit recent there at the bottom, uh she's the top one there. Ice. And you can just swipe on that and it'll dial our numbers. You >> want to just give her a heads up and tell her anything. She may I hope she's still >> Hey, it's me again. >> Are you there? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Um I am being taken to Weld County. >> Mhm. >> Um I'll be booked in there tonight. I guess >> you'll see a judge in the morning and he'll determine bond if anything or what what you do if he wants to release. >> More than likely. >> Did you hear the police officer? >> No. >> Okay. >> Uh I guess I'll see a judge in the morning and he'll decide uh I'm sorry. Can you say that? >> Yeah. No. So he'll decide and determine, you know, if there's a bond or, you know, if you can bail out or anything. Okay. >> I'm telling you now. I'm not bailing you out. I didn't expect you to, but I wanted you to know where I was. >> Okay. >> All right. >> All right. >> All right. >> All right. Well, >> all right. So, um, you have anything else for me? I'm sorry that didn't go probably as >> Yeah, I mean, >> given what I told her earlier in front of the three guys, >> it doesn't surprise me. Okay. >> It really does. She's an excellent wife and I keep fucking it up. >> Well, I mean, it's it's a big learning opportunity right now, right? You know, so it's it's not the end. I want you to know that, you know, it's just something we have to walk through right now and, you know, I believe that, you know, I think you can come out successful on this, okay? Just stay positive. All right. >> All right. I appreciate you. >> Okay. Anytime for me. All right. Okay. You ready? >> About as ready as I can be for this, you know. >> No, absolutely. Said I'm here with you. All right. So, we're going to walk through this door. There's going to be a bench to your left and we'll have a seat. Okay. >> Okay. Patiently, right? We have people that had to do that. We don't cut things >> all the time. All the time. >> All weapons and ammunition. >> All secure. We have a seat over here to the left. Okay. So, I'm going to have your cell phone. You're going with me. Your keys are going with me. Okay. Um and Your handcuff key is going with you. Okay. >> Okay. >> Yeah. So, >> would you like to or not? >> You you have any numbers memorized? >> Uh any numbers I need I have memorized. >> Okay. Okay.
