One minute they're demanding respect,
the next they're being read their
rights. Here are five cases when super
entitled Karens test wrong cops and it
backfires. Number five, woman refuses to
comply with eviction, sparks police
response. Police arrive at an apartment
complex after getting a report about a
woman trespassing. She was evicted more
than a week ago and has since returned
multiple times. This time she's parked
on the property and refuses to leave.
Here's what happens next. So, she um has
been loitering in the parking lot a
handful of times since the eviction.
Okay. I did just approach her today,
asked her if she could please leave. She
says, "I'm not leaving. You kicked me
out. I don't have anywhere to go. I have
no gas. Call the cops." Okay, that's
cool. So, uh you'll go with me and we'll
you say that you want her to leave in my
presence and then we'll trespass her.
And if she doesn't want to leave, she'll
go to jail for trespass after warning.
It's easy as that. All right. Yeah.
Right
now there's running. That's fine. Black
and color caddy. I can't start my car.
So, what do you want me to do?
Unfortunately, you can't be here. They
want you gone. I've done nothing wrong.
But that's not how that works. You
understand? You can't be here. That's
their property. So, am I going to go sit
in a jail for So, either you leave or
you take a Uber or you get out of here.
I don't have any money. That's not my
problem.
You want to call somebody for me? Cuz
that's not my problem. Either you leave
or you go to jail. That's it. I don't
know. You have to just go to jail.
That's That's literally up to you. I
mean, that that's up to you. You want to
go to jail, that's on you for trespass
after warning. I'm not trespassing. Yes,
you are. I pulled over off the side of
the road cuz I was falling asleep. They
want you gone. They're trespassing you.
I came in here because I was falling
asleep on the side of the road. Okay.
Listen, Christie. Carly has something to
tell you. All right.
Chissy, as I stated before, you are
considered trespassing on the property.
We had you and your belongings removed
over a week and a half ago. You're not
welcome on property. I was stopping in
the area and I pulled over for safety.
I'm going to continue to just drive on
the road because I'm falling asleep.
That makes no sense. She's going to end
up being Yeah. So Christy, you need to
understand the best way to do it now is
just to get on foot and start walking
off the property to avoid being
arrested. Despite being told clearly
that staying would lead to arrest, she
doesn't move. I'm not going to start
walking and leaving my car here. Okay,
so you have to understand
that's on them. They can if they want. I
doubt that they're going to do that. I
doubt that they'll I think they'll allow
you to give us something. Was running
until you guys got here. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. I know. I I can I can hear it
beeping right now. They can make it run.
So, we're not going to play these games.
I can't run.
[Music]
And it's going to shut off.
Are you out of gas or why is it doing
that? Out of gas. Okay. So, then you
have to leave the property and come back
to the car. Perhaps someone get the car.
That simple. Hey, Mom. This is Deputy
Bulls with the Pasco Sheriff's Office.
How are you? I'm fine, thank you. All
right. So, we are here with Christie.
She was eventually evicted from her
apartment complex. She's here. She's a
trespass. So,
what I mean by
convict I don't want to take you to jail
in regards to I really don't want to do
that. She's being kind of combative.
I can't go to jail because I'm on
medication. I have to be on. That's not
how that works right now. She has about
medication. Doesn't mean you can't.
She's not walking. She's going to walk
with us. Okay. What about her car? The
car could be here and then you can come
and put gas in the car later and leave
with the car at a different time.
Why do I have to go to jail? She just
It's called trespass after somebody can
come and get me. I can get gas. You can
have somebody come get you, right? So, I
need to go sit in jail so I can be
observed person. Listen, you're not
listening. Okay. I'm I'm trying to talk
to you. Okay. So, if you If you do not
leave, they want you really do. Are you
listening? All right. They want you to
leave. Instead of complying, she stays
put and continues to argue. Looks like
she wants to do things the hard way.
You're not leaving. This is their
property. come out of. I'm just That
doesn't No, I didn't say you were. But
here, Christie, we're going to give you
You got 5 minutes, girl. All right. So,
talk with mom. If not, you're going to
be taking a ride to the jail. We're
We're actually giving you adequate time
to put on those sandals and walk off the
property. Okay. You have here, look,
I'll even I'll start a timer for you.
So, regardless of that, Christie, you
have to understand you leaving on foot
or you leaving with us, the car is still
going to be here. It's just that you'll
probably have another expense on top of
that. All right. So, you choose wisely
on how you want to handle this as an
adult. Five minutes starts now.
You can't stay there. You want to go to
jail.
10
weird. I had no other choice. You don't
belong there. You have to leave.
Walk away. Do you guys want to see that?
I can walk. I can walk. See? Okay. See,
you can walk around. I can walk. Then
walk off the property. Then walk off the
property. It's about me walking. Get
your shoes and leave. It's about
ailele and it's about me knowing if I
can walk. I've been in the car. Just
just put your shoes on and leave. Then
your mom will come get your car. It's
not that hard. It's not that hard. Why
are you being difficult?
Can I get you, please? Just do it. Yeah.
Come on. Let's go. Let's go. Come on.
I'm not getting I don't Yes, you do. Get
out of the car. Get out of the car.
Get out of the car. All right, Mom. I'm
going to put you out of the car. Get out
of the car. When the timer runs out and
she still hasn't left, this happens. I'm
going to tell you one more time and I'm
going to pull you out of this car. I'm
not doing anything. Get out of this car.
Get off of my back. Hey, get off my
back. Stop. Get off your knees. Stop.
Stop. Get out of my back. Stop it. I'm
trying to double lock your cuffs. I'm
trying to double lock. I got her. I got
her. Just because I can work. I got her.
Doesn't mean I can't feel anything.
You're about to have You're about to get
a resisting charge. All right. You just
get off of my back.
You're scraping on my elbow. Hey, you're
escaping.
Stop. Put a
fork. Oh my god. Got her. Stop grabbing
me. Stop grabbing me. Stop grabbing me.
Let go. Let go of my leg. Let go of my
leg. Let go of my leg. Let go. Let go.
Stop. Stop. Let go. I can't breathe. You
can breathe. You're yelling. You're
yelling. You're yelling. You're burning
up yourself. I can't breathe. I can't
breathe. Get me out of Jesus. I can't
breathe. Okay. Don't claw
me. You're going to get charged cuz
you're acting like this. Stop grabbing
my hands. I'm trying to stop censching
up
on grab my freaking leg.
Stop grabbing my leg, Christie. Yeah,
she's
grabbing. I can't take it. She's good.
Officers remain firm but cautious. They
try to calm her down, loosen her cuffs,
and check her condition while
maintaining control of the situation. I
can't take the pain. I can't breathe.
Adjust those. So, just adjust those a
little bit. Put these position. I'm
knock it off. I can't breathe. You can
breathe. Fine. I can't. You're out. Why
are you trying to touch somebody? I
can't. Stop trying to grab me, Christie.
I can't. I can't. Christie, stop. I
really can't breathe. Stop. Take a
breath. Your hand. We'll put We'll
wobble her. Jesus, please. Jesus, please
help me. Slayer on her side. Whatever
you on the side.
Chissy, what have you taken today? Like
what pills you taking?
Let me know when you're ready to sit
up. You want to sit up on your
butt? All right.
[Music]
[Music]
You're double locked.
Mhm. Good. All right. You want to do it
like right here? Are you cool with her
sitting up just so she can calm down?
You want to calm sit up? Come on. Sit up
right here. Right there for a sec. Okay.
Stand up. We're going to lift you real
high. Ready? We're going to help you
stand up. Ready? One, two, three. There
we go.
Right there for us. Okay.
Nothing to do this. I want to call my
mom and have her help. Way past that
point.
You didn't listen to your mom. You
didn't listen to us. You could have
walked off the property. Now you're
going to jail for trespassing. And the
deputy if you're going to jail officer
are resistant. You know how to get a car
and I can't get out because it's causing
me to pack. Eventually the officer is
secure and prepared to transporter.
I can't get out of the car. What have
you taken today? What what pills are you
on? Cuz there's a pill bottle in your
pack because I'm on a trial and the car
causes me to pass your What? What drug
taking? You're good.
You're so worked up right now.
You may need to get new cuffs. Yeah,
they're like rusted.
Yeah, we're make we're making sure the
cuffs are locked up so they don't uh
pinch up on you anymore. Okay,
you really scratched my leg. Christie,
I didn't want to do that. Bring your car
up in the back. If anything, I'll go
I'll go to you to let you know. I I
guess get your get the people already in
route.
and tell them where it's at. You can do
that. Okay. All right. Y All right.
Thank you. And how long was she here?
Did she ever go up inside the apartment
today? Yeah. Not that I'm aware of. Um
but she was here for quite a couple
hours. How did you know that she was
here? You just saw her as you did your
rounds? No, she had some um in uh issues
with her downstairs neighbor. So the
downstairs neighbor saw her. She's right
in front of the apartment. Was she
arguing with the downstairs neighbor?
Not right now. No, just the downstairs
neighbor saw her. Okay. I was just
trying called on her and was like, "Hey,
my neighbor, my
observer called you and was like, "Hey,
old girl's back." I was just trying to
see if in the sense of if she went up
there, maybe the key I mean if it was
like right there where the range could
be, you know, in that aspect. Yeah.
Trying to cuz Yeah. The locks don't
change. She's technically she reported
it to you.
Plenty of space.
All right. You got anything that hurt
us, pokers or sickas? And where is your
car keys? Right here. I can't leave my
medicine. I can't leave my The jail has
medicine, so you'll be good with that.
No, I'm not taking her medicine there.
No, you are. They search her for any
illegal substances or weapons, check on
her medical needs, and walk her through
what comes next.
Get out of
my What is it? Stop being so aggressive
and hurting me. Yeah, you stop moving.
I'm not doing anything wrong. Yeah, you
are. This is hurting my ankle. She's
still got stuff in her pocket. I want to
let you search here. She's only good.
All right, sit right there. Lean against
that. Walk with this. Yes, you can lean
against that. I got her. All right. Got
her.
[Music]
What's in here? I'm L.
I'm
so you.
[Applause]
All right, we're going to just check
your waistline. Okay.
Anything on that side?
Back of my car.
I'm going to take my back of my hand
just on your wrist. This is hurting my
ankle. I feel nothing. You just feel
anything on that side.
This is hurting my Do you have any or
anything on you in your purse or in
your or in your bra? Cuz if you bring it
into the jail, that's an extra charge.
Just one chance. What that means is it's
anything that we miss is a felony. If
you go to the jail, it's on you. Okay.
Does she have anything else on? No. Her
phone's on top of the car, so it's done.
Grab that. Phone's right there. All
right. Yeah, we get mom. Mom lives in
Orlando, so this is a fog out. Where's
your key at?
Where's your key? I don't know, but I
have to take some medicine before we go.
Okay, just kid. Instead of walking away,
her choices land her in cups with a
one-way all expenses paid trip to jail.
Have a seat.
Why am I being treated like an animal?
You're not treating like an animal. You
are Where's my shoes? I'll worry about
that in a sec.
Dance for safety. Look, I don't want to
be choked. You're not being choked.
She's charged with trespassing and
resisting arrest. Number four, woman's
bossy attitude ends in cuffs. Officers
respond to a domestic dispute where a
woman is trying to leave with her child,
and the child's father stops her,
believing she's too drunk to drive. She
calls the police, claiming he's taken
her keys and won't let her leave. When
officers arrive, she's already fired up,
yelling, demanding her keys, and
insisting she's fine to drive. You need
to put Xander down. Listen, he called
the police. Go back up there in front of
my car. No, I'm Shut the up. Hey, you
need to come down. Go back up here in
front of the car. I'm trying to leave,
but he took my car keys and I can't go
anywhere. So, yeah, I'm going to be the
problem because he won't let me leave.
We can't leave with our kids. Like, he
won't let me. Thank you so much. What's
going on? Glad you just arrived. Car
keys. She He won't let me go. Got too
intoxicated, I think, and aggressive.
Trying to make me look crazy when he I'm
not make her look crazy. I just want
safety bag. Do me a f talk to this
officer. Okay. I appreciate it. Thank
you. Over here and talk. Stay out of the
road. Just wait till he comes up. No
right for his kid.
What's going on? Nothing. We got
argument because he didn't want to me.
Fine. Whatever. I walk outside, he locks
me up with my bag out the window. My
kids in there. So, I'm going to be I
don't care. I'm emotional. So, I'm going
But we're standing 3 ft away from each
other. I don't care. I don't care. You
can hear me. That's good. I don't have
to whisper, do I? No, I don't. My kid is
inside. He has my kid. He has no rights
to my kid. So, I'm going to go in and
get my kid. He has my car keys. Do you
guys live together? No, we don't. I have
my own place in Hiron. He has my car
keys. I'm trying to go. I'm trying to
deescalate the situation. I can't leave
because he has me here. Okay. End of
story. So, get my car keys and I'll go
and the situation is revolved. Do you
guys Come here. I'm talking.
Do you guys have the kids together? No.
You guys aren't married. You don't live
together. You don't have kids together.
This is my kid. Just boyfriend,
girlfriend. No, this is my kid. He's
nothing. Get my car key so I can leave.
The situation would be a issue. As they
talk to her, she gets more agitated. She
refuses to cooperate, talks over the
officers, and insists they have no
authority over her.
Cuz you just have the one kid. This is
my kid. I understand that. You just have
the one. You just have one, right? Get
my car keys. Well, I'll tell you what.
You can quit yelling and screaming at
me. No, I don't have to do anything.
You're a police officer, right? But I
don't owe you. You work for me. You're
not going to yell. I can't. I can't.
What are you going to do? Arrest me for
screaming? I didn't say that. But you
don't. But you can't tell me what to do.
You can't. You can't. Sorry, but not
today. So So to take care of this big
igo, but not today. To take care of this
problem. My car key so I can take my
child home and that will resolve the
issue. Was there any Was there any kind
of an assault tonight or anything like
that? No, no, there was not. Okay. Just
so I understand. Get my car keys. Just
so I understand
what was going on tonight. Nothing. I
came over here after hanging out with a
friend to hang out with him. He didn't
like how I was acting. Fine. So, I'm
going to go now. But he thinks I'm
drunk. I'm so sober. So, like, he has no
right to hold my keys against me. Okay.
He wants to call you guys because I'm
having an issue, but it's because he's
acting
like Okay. So, I want to take my kid. I
want my car keys. I'm going to go. Have
you had anything at all to drink
tonight? I have, but I'm sober. Okay.
Like, I'm okay to drive. Well, obviously
he's concerned. I don't care. He has a
big ego and so is his ped brother that
lives in basement. So, like I don't like
Okay. Well, I'm not the issue. We'll see
if we can resolve this for you. I need
my car keys is what I need because
that's what he's keeping for me and he
has no right to keep those. He's the
issue. I'm not. I'm trying to leave. Why
does he Why does he think that you're
intoxicated and shouldn't be driving and
holding the keys? Because we're adults
and we drink alcohol. Okay, I get that.
Why are you asking me that question? I'm
trying to find out what's going years
old. Get my car keys so I can put my
child in the car. Meanwhile, the father
calmly explains the situation,
emphasizing that his only concern is
their child's safety. Daniel, no. Talk
to her a little bit.
Um, so he's saying there's nothing
physical at all. Um, so what happened
tonight? Uh just some drinks and uh I've
had a few myself, but I think she had a
few too many mentally. So um Well, she's
pretty emotional obviously. Yeah. Why is
she like that then? Because we were I
was I was telling this officer we were
together before. Um now we're not, but
we were being friends and trying to work
on things and uh yeah,
to be honest, she wanted so Okay. And
then that's when it honestly happened.
That's when things got out of hand. Yes.
Yes. When I How much has she had to
drink tonight? I don't know. Maybe six
trulies. Six or seven? I I got to look
at the box. I've had like three or four
myself. I don't know that she's like
impaired. Yeah. She's not impaired. I
wouldn't say. No. I mean, I can smell a
little bit of alcohol on her. I mean,
just a little. Not a lot. For sure.
Yeah. Okay. Yeah. I mean, I don't know
that she's too drunk to drive. Okay.
Okay. I mean, I just was scared for my
son's sake. So, was she drinking like
when you were here? No. That's what my
problem was. cuz I didn't know what she
drank when she came over cuz she smelled
like booze and then she got in the
shower and washed off and then had a few
more trulies after that. She told me she
had four before she left and that was
it. But I thought I smelled liquor.
That's what worried me was that I mean
just really faint. Yeah, no problem. You
know, and and it doesn't appear that
she's like highly intoxicated or
impaired that that maybe she can't
drive. Yeah, it this has been going on
for like an hour and a half. I walked
all the way down the street, walked back
to hopefully settle things down. And
then that's when I came back and she was
walking out with my son and I was like,
I don't know if you can. He also
clarifies there was no physical fight,
just a loud argument and some damage to
the house. That's your big concern
is nobody was assault assaulted a threat
or anything like that. Some furniture
was thrown around in my room, but I
wasn't in there at the time. That's when
I was walking down the street. When I
came back, I came back to a wreck room,
but thank god I wasn't. So, to take care
of the problem, we get her keys back and
she can go on her way, right? Yes, I can
do that. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. But you're
going to let her drive with my son?
She That's your son? That's Yes, that's
my son and her son. So, we're going to
let her take my son. So, you guys have
never been married? No. No. There's no
like custody agreement, anything like
that? No. Okay. Um,
I don't care.
Listen, listen.
Now, you guys ever lived together then?
Yes. Like I said, we've faced charges
before um assault, child endangerment,
and domestic violence. Okay. Um, we've
been through the court case and all that
stuff and worked on it. It's been like 5
years since that happened. Well, when I
asked her if he had any children
together, she said no. So, that's You
guys have that child together? Yes,
that's her son. Yes, that's that's him.
Okay.
Don't know why she would say that.
Probably because she doesn't want me to
have him anymore after tonight, but I
was just trying to keep him safe. That
was my sole priority. Okay. She lives,
she said she lives in here on. Yeah. So,
right off uh the apartments. Okay. How
long ago did you guys live together? Uh
5 years ago. 5 years ago. 18 19. Yep.
Okay. Well, do me a favor. Did you give
the other officer any kind of uh I gave
him all my contact information? Okay,
cool. What I'm going to ask you to do is
stand here. Of course. Okay. We're going
to go over and talk to her, try to find
out with a little bit more. Yeah, no
problem. Get her to settle down. Yeah,
for sure. And if we find out that she's
not impaired,
then we'll then we'll try to get her out
of here and send her on her way. Okay,
fair enough. Are we going to let her
take my son? Well, there's nothing I can
do with that. Yeah, you guys aren't
married. No, you're right. Okay. You
guys You guys don't have any custody
agreement or anything. Stay Stay over
here for me. Stay back here for me so
that I'd like to just go sit on the
porch. That's fine. Thank you. The
officers take a moment to piece
everything together before taking
action.
I'm over the limit to drive and then I
won't drive. She's been drinking a
little bit. He tells me that that's that
they have that child together. So, okay.
Bye. Bye. So, uh, go over there and get
the keys real quick from him. And, uh,
let's talk to her a little bit more and
see if we can find out if she's impaired
or not.
Okay. Doesn't sound like there's any
assault or anything like that. Yeah. On
people that you that you that you think
could be driving under the influence.
Right. I don't know what it's called.
Breathalyzer. That's what I know. Okay.
Yep. So until you do that, you cannot
tell me that I'm intoxicated or not
intoxicated because you cannot just
assume. You can't can't. Danielle,
Danielle, he tells me that that's that
you guys have that child together. This
is my kid. He has no rights to him. No,
I didn't say he did. I'm just You told
me rights towards him. So you told me
that you didn't have a child together,
right? We don't cuz I take care of this
child. But but you guys have a child
together. This is my kid. Well, I
understand it's your kid, but it's his
kid, too, right? It's my kid.
Okay, this is what we need to do. I
could smell a little alcohol on you.
Congratulations. You can do a breath
test and tell me that I'm not Well, this
is what what we'd like to do. We want to
make sure that you're not impaired.
Congratulations. You want a sticker?
You want to cooperate with us or not?
I'm listening to you and my No, you're
running your mouth and you're not
listening to me. Do that. I'm cutting
you off. No, I'm not. So, I'm allowed to
say whatever the I want to. We want to
check and make sure that you're not
impaired. Congratulations. Okay. And if
you're not impaired, we'll give you your
keys back. You can go on your way.
Congratulations. Okay.
Cool. Will you take a couple tests real
quick? Test because I'm not impaired. I
want my car keys. I'm on a go. Then
let's do that real quick and let's get
you out of here. Her attitude shifts
fast and not in a good way when they
bring up a sobriety test. Yeah. This
officer here will check you real quick.
Okay. Put the child down. It only take a
couple minutes. Chase, take our kit. Can
you do that? You want to take my keys?
You can take him, right?
A broken elbow. So, be careful.
All right. You got the keys? Yeah,
[Music]
I'm the whole foot in front of the other
foot. I'll get to that point. All right.
So, go ahead and stand facing me, feet
together, arms out to your side like
such. Okay. Right. All
right. Follow tip my finger. Don't move
your Don't move your head. Just follow
your follow with your eyes and your eyes

Okay. Keep your head

we're going to do is the walk and turn.
Okay. We're going to use this line.
Okay. You see this

is I I'll demonstrate for you, right? 10

line. Once like such. Okay. One, two,
three. Simulating that I just took nine
steps, right? You're going to take a
series of small pivot steps until you
get completely turned around. Nine more
steps back. And then you're going to
take a series of nine heel toe steps
back down the line. Okay. Look down at
your feet and count your steps out loud
as you go along. Do you have any
questions? No. Okay. You may begin. 1 2
3 4 5 6 7 8 9. So, what do you think?
Will she pull it off or is that patrol
car ride in her near future? 1 2 3 4 5 6
seven eight nine.
So,
you have no rights to him, so I can take
him. Thank you. All right. So, this next
test we're going to do is the one leg
stand. All right. So, you're going to
stand, feet together, arms down to your
side like such. Go in that. Get in that
position. All right. Right now. So,
you're going to raise your left foot off
the ground. Not yet. Wait until I tell
you to start. You're going raise your
left foot off the ground. You're going
to look down your feet like such. Okay.
Okay. You're going to look down your
foot and you're going to count in a
manner like this. 1,00
1,002 1,003 and so on and so forth until
I tell you to stop. Okay. Okay. You
understand? Yep. All right. Perfect. Go
ahead and begin.
100,002 1003 1004 105
1006 1007 1008 1009
1234 1
156
1 19 1,02232
24,025,026.
All right, you can go and put your foot
down. Well, I can tell you right now, I
would not let you drive.
I wouldn't after what I observed in your
eyes. Absolutely not. Okay. Well, you
can do the breath breathalyzer test,
which will really tell you how much
we'll we'll get that.
Huh? get her. That's what she doesn't
have any family. She doesn't have anyone
who can come and get When officers tell
her she's not allowed to drive, she
snaps, accusing them of overstepping and
bringing up past mistreatment by police.
Chase, seriously? Hey. No. Yeah. Yeah.
He says you're impaired. You're not
driving and you're not. And from this
from this test, so you don't know that
I'm impaired. You're intoxicated by what
he tells you. You're not going anywhere.
You want to start yelling? Tell me that
I'm impaired until you do a breathalyzer
test and I'm legally over the limit. I
tried to make you do a breathalyzer
test. You want to go stand up? I don't
have to stand up. Where is that in the
book? Where is that? Where is it at in
the book? If you think Where is that?
Pull it up. Pull it up because I'm going
to tell you right now, there is no law
that says I have to stand up to do a
breathalyzer test. The odor of alcohol
coming off your Doesn't matter. Anyone
that alcohol, it doesn't matter. It
doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. You
have to do a breathalyzer test. You have
to do a breathalyzer test. Do you have
somebody come get you? You have to do a
breathalyzer test. Do you have someone
that can come do you can get your
sergeant? I'm the supervisor. Okay. You
get another supervisor that actually
they're talking about this breathalyzer.
Stop running your mouth. You're going to
jail. Okay. You're going to jail. Let's
go. You're under arrest.
You're under arrest for conduct. You're
under arrest. Quit resisting. Stop
resisting. You're going to catch another
charge. Stop resisting. Now you're being
charged with resisting arrest.
Stop.
Stop. I haven't done anything. I haven't
done anything.
[Music]
seriously tight.
Can't even talk right now. I don't think
there's enough
room. Stand up.
Things go downhill fast. She keeps
yelling, refuses to calm down, and
pushes back on every instruction.
Don't play that. Come on. Stand up.
Stand up. Byebye. Cam came off. Yeah.
Really, Chase? This is what you want
right now on the ground. Really, Chase?
This is what you want. This is what you
want. This is what you want. Really?
Really?
Seriously,
[Music]
I haven't done anything. J, I didn't do
anything. I didn't do
anything. Is that what you want? Really?
Really? Really?
Jesus. Get in. No. Get in. Get in.
Jesus.
Get in. Hold on. The car.
That's
not the Hang on,
Hang on. Get off. I don't want this in
there with
her.
Here, if you want to remove one cuff, I
got the arm, too. Yeah. Come over here.
Take this one off.
I haven't done
[Music]
anything. What could have been a simple
conversation or even a ride home ends in
charges and a pair of handcuffs.
Where did my phone go? I don't know. It
was on the ground over there.
Don't you want to be Where was my phone?
I don't know. I have to work tomorrow,
so I need to know how to call my boss.
Oh my lord.
Now it's
locked. How's
it going?
[Applause]
Danielle, come
on. Come
on. Come on. You had no problem fighting
me earlier. Come on. Get out of the
car. Get out of the car. Let's go.
Yeah.
[Applause]
She's charged with disorderly conduct
and resisting arrest. Number three, she
tried to run the show. The cops wrote
the ending. Officers confront a woman
for jaywalking and the situation quickly
escalates when she refuses to comply.
Now you're resisting arrest. You're
adding on charges. Okay. My Am I
resisting? Now you're adding on charges.
Stop. You need to stop. Why? And I have
my shoulders fractured. I'm telling you
that. Give me your hand. Stop. Stop
resisting. I'm not resisting. Give me
your hand. There you go, bro. I'm not
resisting. So she can go in the back of
someone's car. Are you kidding me, bro?
Nope. We're not. We're going to learn.
We're going to learn that when the
police ask you to do something, you
listen. I What did I say? Go to a car.
What did I say? Stop. Stop. Listen.
Stop. Stop. Listen. Focus. Stop. Walk
this way. Come on, man.
Yo, can you stop pulling this arm,
please? It's fractured. Walk. Yo, it's
fractured. Then walk. Can you grab the
other arm? I'm asking you stop. It
wasn't fractured when you were just
resisting rest. Yes, it was. I told Can
you please stop? Can you please stop?
Can you please stop? I'm not doing, bro.
I'm not doing anything. Why are you
doing that to me? Officers repeatedly
tell her to stop resisting and try to
detain her safely, but she keeps pulling
away and challenging their authority.
Why are you grabbing me like, bro, I'm
you stop, please. Show me out at you
guys. I was grabbing me like that. Why
are you grabbing me like that, bro? Why
are you grabbing me like that? I am
walking out here last time. Yeah. Jesus
Christ.
No, I'm not taking out the cuffs if
you're going to keep resisting. I'm not.
I'm asking you to loosen it. When you
get in the car, when you get in the car
in compliance. Okay. Listen. Okay. I
have a fractured shoulder. So, listen.
Listen, listen. Have you been arrested
before? Yes. Okay. So, stop. Stop. Stop.
Stop. So, you know when I say put your
hand on your back, you put your hand on
your back, you know everything else is
resisting, correct? Ma'am, can I ask her
a question? Sure. Yes. Just because I
said what I said, I have a right to to
speak my opinion. Yes. And then you
violated the law by jaywalking right in
front of me. Jaywalked? Yeah. Right in
front of me because I was trying to give
y'all y'all space. No, that's not what
you were doing. I swear to God. Well,
you still broke the law in front of me.
And then when they asked you to put
their your hands behind your back, you
didn't. So then that's resisting. So you
see where we're at? That was not That's
not true. Ma'am, is there anything else
I can help you with? Ma'am, that's not
true. Is there anything else I can help
out here? Is there anything else I can
help you with?
Why are you being like that? We're out
here enforcing the law and you're
breaking it in front of us. Why? What?
You I didn't do anything to you. But
see, you guys have to learn that when we
come out here, there's no more of this.
There's no more hanging out here all
night and then getting lippy when we ask
you to leave. That's what happens. You
don't have to go to jail. If this is how
you act, this is what we call an
example. Not. But you just did. I
didn't. I wasn't. There's no harm in
what I was trying to do. Well, that's
not how this works. Okay. And the fact
that I wasn't even speaking to you when
you felt the need to interrupt you in my
purse. Oh, well, see, now we're
definitely going. She throws out excuse
after excuse to justify her behavior,
but the officers aren't buying any of
it. I don't know how this works. Okay,
that I wasn't even speaking to you when
you had in my purse. Oh, well, see, now
we're definitely going. Okay, I'm going
because listen. No, I already did. Oh,
wow. I like it.
I don't have any, but I do. It's cool.
What do you want to do? You want to rest
resisting arrest. Ma'am, we can worry
about your fractured arm. Yeah, but when
you pulling it, you're pulling because
you wouldn't stop. No, you pulled it
period. Okay, I'm not I'm not arguing
with you. Okay, you don't have to. It
makes no sense. Cuz that's what
happened. That's exactly what happened.
And I'm going to get everybody to write
a statement for that. Anybody writing a
statement for you? Are you crazy? Before
you pulled and I asked you not to. Have
seen the vehicle. Have seen the vehicle.
Okay, cuz you're
wrong. Can Can you Can you take loosen
this up?
Have you ever seen a vehicle? I'll
loosen up. It hurts really bad. Like, go
for it. I have a fractured shoulder,
though. I'm telling you, bro. You don't
behave like a person with a fractured
shoulder.
I'm like, what? You're hurting me. I
have a right to act a certain way if you
hurting me. Yes, I do.
She walks away with two charges,
resisting an officer and having
paraphernalia on her. Number two,
traffic stop turns chaotic when driver
has total meltdown. Police pull up to a
car parked on the roadside after reports
of reckless driving. Inside, a woman is
with her child and two dogs. Here's what
goes down when officers confront her
directly.
Just a little bit. Roll it down a little
bit.
Okay. Stop. There's enough. That's
enough. Wait. Can I come out? No. No. If
this dog comes out, roll your window up.
Roll it up. Just take it down a little
bit. I don't want to get bit. I'm not
going to shoot your dog. I don't Do not
let this dog out. Can I help out? Yep.
Shut the door. Do not let the dog out.
Trust me. I'm an animal sanctuary non
forprofit. I've done this my whole life.
Okay. That's what I do for a living.
That's why I asked permission if I
could. Thank you. Thank you. Here's You
got called in as doing 100 down this
road. Me? Yeah. Uh you can ask my
boyfriend. He has the speed limit on my
thing. I can show you how I was best I
was doing. Okay. What's the Is there a
problem? No. I just stopped over because
I'm not from here. Okay. And again, the
only reason I asked permission is to get
out was because my dog, she's trained to
protect me because I, like I said, I
live in the city, so I want protection.
I don't own guns and stuff like that. I
don't want to own a gun. I don't own a
FOY card or anything. That's my son. Do
you want me to No, no, no, no. I want to
make sure those dogs don't get out the
window. No, sir. Do you want me to roll
it? No, I don't want you to open that up
again. So, I was going to say I can roll
it. Come to the side of the window here.
I'm going to sit in the car and then My
son is in the car. Is it okay if I go
back and forth? That's fine. Yeah. Yeah.
Go over there. Go over there. Yes.
Literally. Go over there. Go over there
so you're not standing in the road. I'm
sorry. I've literally never been pulled
over. I've been driving since Okay. You
got called in. They said it had stickers
all over the back. Driving on the
shoulder passing people. That's why I'm
here. Otherwise, pass one person. So,
that's You could pat me down. I'm not
one of those Black Lives Matter and all
that. It's okay, right? Yeah. You can
have Okay. I was to say I'll show my
hands the whole entire time. Before
making any moves, one officer gathers
details about her behavior leading up to
the stop. Hello, Cody. This is Sergeant
Butterfield with Grundy County. This car
that you called in, was it passing on
the shoulder? Yeah. So, I was on 80.
Yeah. Two two lanes merges into one. I'm
in a big Penworth service truck. Yeah.
I'm at the end of the merge. Like, I'm
in I'm in where it's one lane. Yeah. And
I look in my mirror and I see this car.
I mean, just booking it. And they pass a
car in the two lane. They come flying by
me on the right hand side of the
shoulder in the gravel. And then I see
her get in the other lane and she drives
in the other lane for a little bit, then
gets in the middle. Hang on. If you got
to deal with your kid, deal with your
kid. You're not free to leave yet. And
then I watched her. She got out of the
car and almost seemed like she was
stumbling. And then she got a dog out
and let that thing go in the ditch off a
leash. And okay, she almost went head on
with another car. I'm just trying to
make sure nobody gets killed. So, here's
what I got going on here. This is my
concern. I smell something sweet. Have
you been drinking today? Sweet. Yeah.
Have you been drinking today? No, sir. I
don't drink. You don't drink? No. I can
smell I smell I have a medical card,
too. Even that doesn't make it legal to
drive. No, I know it's federally
illegal. I know, sir. I'm just saying
like you're asking what I'm doing. So,
here So, here I smoked at 8 a.m.
Exactly. All right. So, here's what I'd
like to do. I'd like to push you through
through the field sobriety test. What's
that? feel to to decide whether you're
impaired or not. Wait a minute. Wait a
minute. Before you do that, I can't walk
a straight line. But I can do it for
y'all. But King County did they arrested
me and then they got in trouble. So I do
want to let y'all is it okay that I take
my flipflops off and I prefer that you
finish smoking. Here's what I'm offering
then. If you can't do all that, let me
just check your eyes and then I'll offer
you a portable breath test. If you have
not been drinking, you should blow
zeros. Right. Oh, that's cool. Okay. So
stand. Come here. You want to do a test?
Yeah. I'm not going to lie. Like I've
never been pulled
over ever in my life. Like this is
actually making You just said that you
got pulled over by King County. King
County, not Kendall. I've been living
here for 2 years. As they begin
requesting sobriety tests, her tone
shifts. What started as polite quickly
turns defensive and the anxiety starts
to show. Okay, here's what I need you to
do. Okay. Turn your back to my squad
car. Anxious, sir. Turn your back to my
squad car. Yes, sir. Okay. Back here.
Come here. Come here, ma'am. Just back
up. Okay. Put your heels and toes
together. Arms down your side. Just like
this. Okay.
Good. Okay. Put your arms down your
side. I just Last time I had the cop
experience was in King County and they
took my son from me. I don't want to
take your son. That's not what I'm here
for. But but here's the deal, okay? If
we don't move forward with this, then
you're you're going to want to
automatically I know how it goes. No,
no, no. I mean, you you can It's 3:30.
Okay. I don't want to be standing on the
side of the road with you. Okay. This
needs we need to get this buttoned up.
All right. What do you want? Okay. So, I
need to make sure that you're not
paired. That's all. Put your arms down
your side. All right. I can't do it with
the flip-flops. That's what I'm saying.
I'm not asking you to move. I'm just
asking you to stand. Yeah. But like
stand like this. That's all I'm asking
you to do. Put your hands at your side.
Okay. Keep your arms at your sides.
Okay. Keep your arms your sides. I'm
listen. I'm I'm trying to get this done.
Okay. I know. I was just taught to
always My mom always told me. Okay.
There you go.
Keep your head still. You're right in
the sun. So that's really must turn your
back to to the sun. Say keep the head
still. Don't move the head. Correct.
Correct. So I'm doing good. You're doing
it the correct way. Is that what that
keep your hands down? That's what you
want me to. Sorry. Your hands on your
side. Down to your side. Sorry. I don't
want you to get mad. Just follow the
finger. I want to follow my head with my
head cuz like I'm used to like with the
combine and stuff like you follow. You
follow. Keep your head. Sorry, sir.
Okay. All right.
You got the PVT? No. So, so you said you
can't move and or you can't walk and you
can't stand, right? No, I never once
said that. I said my speeches.
She struggles to follow basic
instructions, hesitates to cooperate,
and repeatedly references past issues
with law enforcement. Okay. So, you can
walk a straight line? Yeah. Do you want
me to walk a straight line? What I said
with my flipflops that I am a hillbilly
and that I've ever only walked mine with
like Do you have a problem taking a PBT?
No, I take take a deep breath and take a
PBT. How do we do that? Blow hard for 4
seconds. Take a deep breath. Take a deep
breath. Take a deep breath. Like suck
in. Yep. Yep. And blow hard for 4
seconds. Go blow. Blow. Blow. Blow.
Listen. Listen. I am blowing. Listen.
Yes. It's like blowing. I was blowing,
sir. I was I was Take a deep breath.
Take a deep breath. Blow hard. 4
seconds.
Okay. I'm sorry. Take a deep breath.
Blow hard. 4 seconds. Blow. Blow. More.
More. More. More. More. More. More.
Okay. All right. Here's the deal. Okay.
I've never seen such bad nestagmas.
Okay. What that is is the involuntary
jerking of the eyes. It's an indicator
of a high level of alcohol or or
depress. Okay. That's what happened with
Tang County last night. I was throwing
up last time because I was throwing up.
So then if you would just do this and it
would show zeros, then I would know that
there's something more going on. You're
not blowing. As I've instructed, I'm
going to let you know right now. It's
not going to show zero because I have up
teeth. That doesn't That's not That
doesn't It does. It does. Sorry. King
County got in charge and in trouble in
the King County. I can You got Y'all can
look it up. You know how to do that?
I'll let you do it. I will do exactly
what he said. Let's do this and then
we'll let you talk. Okay.
Deep breath in. Deep breath in. Here you
go. Not deep. Shut off. Sir. Yes, sir.
I'm going to give you the opportunity to
be straight with me. Okay. Have you been
drinking today? No. No. I told you when
I was drinking. When? 8:26 a.m. this
morning. I had a smoke and I had
literally one shot that was Okay. So,
you did have a shot. You You told me you
smoked a this morning.
This is like this cop stuff makes me
Oh, okay. All right. During the
exchange, she admits to taking a shot of
alcohol earlier. Officers find vodka in
the car and determine she may be
significantly impaired. So, here's the
deal. You've got You got to empty. I
showed you. Stop. Stop. I know that's
not yours. I know it's not yours. What
about the pop off vodka in the center
console? That's my boyfriend's. This is
not my car. I can even show you. This
isn't my car. I believe it's not your
boyfriend. It's not. Do you want to do
any more fields? You said you can't
walk. You said I mean I'm I'm not going
to ask you to walk or You're just going
to arrest me. It sounds like y'all are
going to arrest me, are you? Well, I I
don't think you're being completely
truthful with us. All right. Okay. Be
like King County here.
All right. You're under arrest. DUI.
You're under arrest. DUI. This is what I
mean. Like you guys did this last time.
You did this last time. You did this
last time.
Oh no. I can't even get a picture of
this. This is what you guys did last
time. I didn't mean to spill. Calm down.
Stop. Stop. Or this is not going to go
the way you want it to. Do you
understand? Calm down. I understand
that. Do you want us to take care of
your son or your dogs? Then stop. Quit
walking out in traffic. Calm down. Okay.
Because I'm either That's what you all
did last time though. Stop. I'm either
going to call animal control and DCFS or
I'm going to call your mom and get your
dog animal control off. Then my dog will
get shot. Hey giving you options. I'm
trying to help you, but you just won't
calm down. Stop it. Please. Then stop
talking. What you all did last time,
though. Stop talking. You all put me in
hiccups last time and then you all got
put on
police. I've done this last time with
King County and you all had to
apologize. I walk like a drunk person,
but I'm just I'm sorry. And you all had
to write an apology last time.
Mother, stop this. Get up there and be
an adult and have a seat.
[Music]
Due to her outbursts and concern for the
child and dogs, authorities contact
child protective services and animal
control. No, I have been. Okay, then I'm
going to have to take your kid. Then do
it. Okay. All right. Animal control is
coming. All right. Sorry.
You love start animal control cuz she's
she's she's more worried about you with
her dogs than she is talking to her kid
and keeping him calm.
pit bull on a smaller terrier type dog.
Kevin the whole time I have been cool.
God, you deserve it. I'm not like that.
I have always been cool with C. I have

going to happen. Listen to me. I've
always been taught in a bridge. Okay,
I'm calling DCFS 10. That's one thing.
Then tell us your mom's name. Please
God, you're going to taser me. Get in. I
don't want to do this. You're going to
taser me? Really? Listen, this prick is
going to taser me. You're going to get
your license removed like the last
county sheriff. I'm getting drunk
smelling. Really? That's exactly what
that black ass cop said last night. Wow.
That's going to look
good that they sit down. I'm going to
pick you up like a toddler. Put you in
there. All right. Go ahead, y'all. Let's
pick her up. Pick her up. All right.
Let's do this.

You're going to catch a felony.
Fine. I promise I

[Music]
[Applause]
Leave my son alone. Leave my son alone.
[Music]
Can you imagine having her in the
backseat of your car? Just look at the
chaos she caused screaming, kicking, and
leaving a mess behind.
Then you do it.
You're lucky I don't rip
it. Just pulled out of the cover. Just
shove it back in there. Don't do that.
Yeah, you're lucky I don't rip it cuz I
was a mechanic. I am. That's what I do
for a living. So you're lucky I didn't
actually unplug it. You're a little You
know that? Why you so angry now? What do
you mean? What do you mean? You lying.
What are you angry? You lying. Wait
until we get out. You want to see a
felony charge? Let's do this. Come on.
Get me out this car, bro. Come on. Get

when you ain't got all these.
I ask you respectfully to leave

And even after arriving at the station,
the attitude doesn't stop. I'm so done
with

Get him out of here.
Her blood alcohol content registers at
191, over twice the legal limit. Her
brother eventually arrives and takes the
child but declines to care for the dogs.
Officers proceed with charges for DUI
and child
endangerment. Number one, Walmart Karen
delivers the drama of the year. Police
respond to a Walmart where a woman is
causing a disturbance over a return.
Here's what happens next.
She called you guys. Well, you guys
called first, didn't she? Yeah, this guy
called.
Okay. No receipt. Okay.
Hi.
What are we doing? I don't know. Are you
stretching? I don't know. What? I don't
What do you want me to do? What do you
want to do? Are you arresting me? No.
What? You called us.
Sit.
I'm confused. What would you like me to
do? I'm deaf. I can't hear you.
Are you actually deaf?
How How can I help you? I can't hear
you. Were you guys able to communicate
with her? That's like why she's acting.
That's what she trying to I tried to
help her.
Well, if you weren't listening to Kevin
Gates, you could probably hear us.
Did you talk to her at all? Did you like
Did she talk to you at all? She talked.
What did she say? Come on.
Can you understand me? You want to walk
