Sovereign citizens don't believe the laws of the United States apply to them. This woman claims she is, and I quote, fighting the Matrix. >> We live in the Matrix. They said Joe Biden was a clone. >> Let's see how a simple expired tag could turn into some prison time. >> Hello. >> Hi. Uh, recent stop is your Kentucky tag expired in 2023. >> Okay. >> Um, are are you living here now or? >> Um, yeah. >> Okay. I mean, that's two and a half years expired at this point. And you got to get once you move to a new state. Do you have a Florida driver's license now? >> Uh, no. >> Do you have a Kentucky driver's license? >> No. >> You don't have a driver's license at all? >> I mean, I do, but >> what >> can I see that, please? >> Um, did I commit a crime? >> Yeah, your Kentucky tag is expiring 2023. >> All right. Well, that's not a crime, really. That's just [sighs and gasps] >> All right. All right. Well, case law says I'm able to pull a driver over for an expired tag. >> That's fine. >> So, I'm pulling over. This is a lawful traffic stop. I need your ID, registration, proof, and insurance. >> No, listen. I don't I'm a sovereign citizen. >> Oh, the dreaded sovereign citizen. Obviously, she's not going to cooperate. They believe something wacky that like the government went broke back in the day. It was refounded. We got rid of common law. Now, we're under maritime law. all these things. It's a it's a rabbit hole on the internet that some people go down and never come out of. >> I don't follow any of that. So, >> perfect. >> I'm free to travel. Really? >> Okay. So, you're traveling. You are not driving. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Just give me one second. >> 105 central. >> Can you roll me um for more units? I have a sovereign citizen who is not driving. So I Well, no, you need to listen to me because this is not going to go the way you think it is. This is a lawful traffic stop. There's >> Do you have a valid driver's license? >> We don't live in the same realities. I don't follow anything in the matrix. Uh understood. >> We live in completely different realities. Um I don't follow any government entities. I am a sovereign citizen. I I'm free to live here. I follow common natural law. >> And you just travel? >> I don't I just go get my groceries. I don't even I just go back and forth to get my groceries. >> So, you don't follow statute at all. >> Everything you're watching on TV is a lie. We're all Listen, you don't have a squeaky clean record and that's fine. None of us do because we're trying to break free from all >> you need a driver's license to drive. >> I mean, I do have a driver's license, but I don't No, cuz I didn't I didn't commit a crime. >> Well, I'm allowed to pull you over for an expired tag. So, do you agree that that's a reason to stop somebody or you don't agree with that? I mean, like I guess I follow common law. Hello. >> Hi. >> So, she follows common law. Obviously, as she said, this isn't as common as you might think it is. It's cuz the internet it looks like it is, but I've [music] seen this like twice in my career. And, you know, one the person ended up under arrest and the second one they actually cooperated and and took their licks, but we're just in disagreement. >> So, I don't cause problems. I just want to get my first going. >> This is going to be your last chance. Okay. I need your ID and your registration and proof of insurance. >> I don't want to give any of that. >> You will not give it to me. >> Well, I don't want to. >> You have to do this for jail. >> Can I explain something to you real quick? >> In jail for >> Ma'am. Can I Can I explain something to you? I understand your ideology and I I can respect it, >> but unfortunately where we live and how we live in this world today, >> it's not recognized at all. Okay, hold on. Let me finish. >> Do you have a state ID with They said Joe Biden was a clone on national TV. >> That's all irrelevant any relevant. I don't follow any government entity. You guys are going to have to answer to all this. >> That's great. And and I and you know what? When that time comes, we'll be happy to. >> I'm common law, natural law. I don't follow the the I don't I'm a free citizen. I'm doing nothing wrong. >> Unfortunately, your tag is extremely expired. >> That's okay. >> And I get it's not that big of a deal. >> I don't pay taxes. I don't do any government. >> That's up for you and the IRS to figure out then. We don't I don't care about what you pay for taxes. >> Nothing. >> What's your name? >> I don't want to give you my name. >> If you're not going to be in agreement with the laws and live in our society and where I drive on the roads and enjoy everything we have, then just get a horse and move to the mountains. Don't bother anybody. >> Ma'am, you realize that you have the possibility of going to jail by refusing to put somebody in jail for unless I've committed a crime, which I have not committed. >> It's a traffic violation. State Florida state law under a legal traffic stop. If you refuse to identify yourself, you're grounds for being arrested. Okay. Where are your keys for your vehicle? >> The ignition. >> Take them out of the ignition. >> No, you Listen, you cannot I mean, you can write Okay, listen. You can write me up a ticket, but it's going to be I have no job. I'm unemployed. I'm fighting the system. >> That has nothing to do with why we're here today. >> So, you can go ahead and write me up a ticket. I'm never going to pay it. >> Well, we got it. We We need your information to write a ticket. That's fine. If you don't want Listen, if you don't want to pay it, that's your prerogative. It could be even further repercussions for that. But, in order for us to write that citation, we need your information. >> You guys are public servants. We need your information to write that ticket. >> You guys are enforcing laws that are going to come back and get you too. I'm doing this for everybody. >> Okay. >> Well, then you can you can take legal action later on, but right now that's not going to be discussed right here today. >> Go ahead and step out of the vehicle at this point. >> Okay. >> Go ahead and step out of the vehicle. >> Do this. >> You have to undo your seat, though. This is a lawful order. Pennsylvania, you have to step out of the vehicle. >> Give a ticket and then it's going to do nothing. >> Do you want Okay. Do you want to give us your driver's license? Do you want a ticket? We can still go that route. But you're very close to not going that route. >> They don't want to do this. [laughter] >> It's just going to progressively get worse. >> You can fight it in court afterwards. >> Just write me a ticket and let me get my groceries back cuz that's a lot of money and groceries. >> You have a valid driver's license? >> No, nothing's valid. I told you I'm fighting it in every way, shape, and form. I have no job. I'm doing everything. I'm fighting things this except we live in the matrix. They said Joe Biden was a clone. They got us all to get our vaccines. So they can watch us and make us robotically do. You guys are doing the same thing. You guys are supposed to We're going to go back to being deputized. The >> sheriff insurance, ma'am. >> No, I don't have anything. I have nothing. >> Okay. >> I don't know. I'll fix >> Go ahead. Go run. >> Yeah. I'm just going to run. >> It's fine. >> It's It's You're going in loops here. >> You're You're the one going about Joe Biden being cloned and why is that relevant? That's not even a reasonable statement. >> We literally He's not even the president. >> Why are we paying our taxes? Why are we doing any of this stuff? We're keeping ourselves in the craziest loop and then you guys are part of the problem. >> Actually feel sorry for her. She's really nice and I I know she really believes this. I mean she's really wrong but I do feel sorry for her that she's fallen into this trap. >> 1055 Central California by number >> sure. She finally gave it to open the door and I was like it's either >> this or jail and she's like fine I'll give you my ID. >> Okay. >> So >> all of this going like do you see where it >> Well, it's No, it's it's not just a sticker. That's just >> I want everyone to What's your first name? >> What's your first name? >> My ID. >> Okay. So it's not over just a sticker. It's also the escalation that you did by not providing your driver's license. I follow common natural law. >> Okay. But that law doesn't isn't recognized by anybody. Unfortunately, you made the situation worse than it is >> because guess what? You follow that's that was the problem during co everybody changed. Nobody realized you don't follow rules. You don't follow entities that are trying to last time for for >> they didn't enforce a shot on anybody. That was your own choice. So I don't even that's not even relevant to why we're here today. >> I lost my I lost five jobs over >> Oh, I'm sorry for that. >> You guys are all glitchy. >> Glitchy. What does that mean? says you can't handle when when things go against authority. You have to bow down to authority. >> I I have no idea why that What are you [laughter] talking about? >> What? >> Like all of this over a sticker. Do you understand how ridiculous this is? >> Over. >> No, the sticker is a simple ticket. You just refusing to identify yourself is what's criminal? >> I gave him my ID. >> It took a long time. >> Cuz I shouldn't have to unless you committed a crime. I didn't >> No, it's a traffic violation. And if you actually read the statute for Florida, you're driving is a privilege. First of all, it's not a right. I'm not dragged traveling. >> It's okay. >> At least you know the the normal uh rhetoric for sovereign citizens. >> That is what they normally say. I'm a free man traveling or I'm a free woman traveling. That's the [music] response you'll get. >> Hey, uh she gave him his ID. >> Okay. >> She's going. >> Okay. >> No, I don't care. Get her out. >> Yeah, >> we're not doing all this. >> Not arguing with her. >> I put her seat on and she's fine. >> No, it's too late. >> All right. You know what it's about? >> Overdifying yourself when he told you to. You got >> How do you pay my tag over a sticker and they're doing this? This is ridiculous. >> Now you'll know. >> What is happening to the men in this world? What the? >> They had lawful reason to stop you and identify you and you refused. So now you're going to jail >> cuz I didn't commit a crime. It's a sticker. Thank you. >> Okay. You know, you guys take that outfit off. You're just like, I'm going to see you in the grocery store. We're all the same people fighting for freedom and you guys are doing this. Do you realize when you put that on? You're just like me. >> Your your record's not clean either, mister. >> Okay. >> You shouldn't be following every law. Not all laws are meant to be followed. >> Can I ask you Can I ask you a question? When did you start the whole sovereign thing? >> Uh, in 2020 when I realized the television is telling everybody what to do and that something's wrong in the world. >> Stop watching the news. I don't watch the news cuz I don't agree with the news. >> Yeah. Now, now after everybody you're freaking just go do your own thing and ignore laws. >> It does. That's how you fight it. How do you think you end this? >> No, that's not this isn't the right way to go about it. >> Well, how else are we going to go about it? >> I think part of the problem is like the people that go down this rabbit hole in the internet and and get into the sovereign citizen stuff. Then they do see like politicians and highle officials not answering to crimes they committed, getting pardoned. That all kind of adds into why they believe this and why they behave like this. You can understand it, but it's, you know, extreme. It >> just doesn't make sense. >> I got kids and I'm putting them in institution. >> Where are the kids? Are they >> You're on social media. >> Are the kids at school? Where are they? >> Yeah. I was actually going to go right down and ride and see if it's okay. So, they have adult supervision right now. >> Put her in your car for now. >> Yeah. >> But I mean, this thing expired like 3 years ago. >> Two years ago. >> The VIN matches. >> Whoops. I didn't check the VIN yet, but >> that and she obviously didn't transfer any of her info to Florida, but her val is like two years expired. She already stayed. I don't pay for insurance because of the whole thing of traveling and sun is hot. >> Poor Sergeant. His head looks like a cherry tomato. That'd be me. >> I'm going to buck your seat, though. >> I'm having a I'm trying not to have an anxiety attack. >> Okay. Do you want EMTs to come to you? >> Who do you want to? I just need to >> Okay, I just need to buckle your seat belt. We're going to move. It'll be >> Hold on. >> I I need >> to >> get myself ready to do this. Hold on. >> Okay. No, we need to put your foot back in the car. >> Hold on. Wait. Just give me a minute to breathe. >> Okay. I need to buckle your seat belt. >> Do I have to be in handcuffs? I'm not going to hurt anybody. I just >> I understand that. But >> do you Hold on. Wait a minute. Do you not understand how anxietyinducing this? >> Ah, now I feel sorry for even more. Um Yeah, I've seen this a few times. Some people are claustrophobic. Even having their hands behind their back, they start to panic. So, you put a couple hands behind the back in the back of a cruiser. It's really tight. It's probably hot cuz it's Florida. So, she's starting to starting to have a panic attack. >> Ma'am, I need you to sit back. >> No, hold on. I'm having an anxiety attack. Hold on. Call anxiety. Okay. I can't do this. >> 105 central. Put your feet back in the car. >> No, I'm getting anxiety. I don't Listen. Do you understand? You sit back here. It's hot. >> Okay. There's ambulance coming. You can stay like this. That's fine. >> It's fine. I'm not going to run away. I'm not going to run away. I just It's hot back there. It's Florida for God's sakes. >> I'm with you, sister. [laughter] My god. >> Too hot. >> I hope you sleep well at night knowing that we do this stuff. >> All you had to do was give me your driver's license, which has to be valid. >> You and I are hopefully you're heading to the same place afraid I'm not following all this [ __ ] stuff. >> You know it. I know it. >> Jordan here was having a panic attack and caught in the back of the car >> because she requested to be evaluated. >> I don't like evaluate. I just don't want to get a ride in the back of the car. >> Well, we can't help you there. So once again, no trans, >> but I don't want to be transferred to a police department in this hot ass car >> or the hospital. >> Or the hospital. I don't need to go to the hospital. What I need is just to go home and have I should be having my >> coffee and just chilling at my house. Not over a sticker. Not a cat. >> Here, go ahead and put your feet in the car. >> I don't want It's hot back there. No, >> it's hot in the back of those cars and it's cold in the winter. There's some heat ducting that goes and cool ducting that goes back [music] there, but just doesn't work that good. >> You have to get back in the car. We're going to the police department. I'm writing the police report. >> Oh, it's hot back there. >> Let me write everything with you guys. >> No, >> ma'am. We're going back in the car. >> Is it going to be fast? Is it going to be fast? >> MA'AM, WE'RE GOING BACK THERE. >> OH, BOY. >> It's too hot. >> Not want to get in. >> Hold on. Let me take a >> m You're getting in the car. Please. I I don't think she's faking it. If you've ever talked with somebody who's had a panic attack or an anxiety attack, you really feel like you're going to die. So, this is a real issue for her. Hopefully, we can get her in the car and get her somewhere quick and get her out. >> Gracious. >> Yes. Motor Police Department. >> All right. Her mom's calling. You want to talk to her? >> I'll put it on I'll put it on speaker. There you go. >> Hello. >> That's nice of you. about going to jail. >> So, where do I go? >> Um, she will be booked into the Bush County branch jail. >> A jail? You go to a jail instead of >> you booking me here? >> No, no, no. We I'm writing the report and then I take you to the jail. >> Oh my god. You're going to have to take me to the hospital then. Take me to the hospital right now. >> Why do you need to go to the hospital? >> Okay. All right. Okay. prone to them. >> Where are you guys? >> Hello. >> Hello again. >> Hello again. Yeah, I'm not going to make it to all the way to Dand. You guys told me quarter mile. There's no way I'm going to make it to Dand without having a panic attack. >> It's Daytona. >> 25 minutes away. I >> It's like 20 minutes, maybe less. >> So, you want to go to the hospital back and I'm not going to be able to make it. I will not make it. >> Yeah, I would say the way she's presenting right now. I probably will have to take her anyway. >> Where you going? >> I'm go going. I don't want to go in here. I'm fatic. >> You some bugged yourself. Get back in the car. We already got two cards. >> Woman, what am I going to do? Calm down over there. Calm down. >> Goodness. Are you going to get back in the car? Do I have another Call another officer to put you back in the car? >> Please just get me out of No. >> Please stop. >> All right. >> Just let me go. This is ridiculous. You guys have better things to do than going to put your legs or are we going to throw you back? >> You know this is stupid. You guys know how stupid this is. It >> is stupid. Go. Are you guys done with that? >> But not why she thinks. >> Ma'am, >> I'm taking you >> to the hospital. >> Can you put me on the pending fraud? >> What do you mean? Why you >> What [laughter] do you mean? Why? I've been taking the hospital. Is >> that what you want? >> What do you mean doing all of this? >> You should be. >> Oh my god, I'm going to lose my mind. We'll find out what she was charged with in just a minute. But first, this man is making public threats to officials and cops on Facebook. >> Warning to pigs. Make contact. Get shy. >> During a dramatic arrest involving K9 units, we're going to find out what led him to end up in this situation. In Charlotte County, Florida, officers are about to pull over Matthew Me, a man with a long-standing grudge against the police. Me has taken his anger to Facebook and even called 911 making violent threats against the police, promising that if they try to pull him over, they'll be met with bullets. Here's what happened when the officers finally attempted to stop him. >> Your call has been updated. >> Chase is on. [screaming] [ __ ] the [ __ ] >> three [ __ ] Stop him. Stop him. Stop him. Stop him. Stop him. Stop him. Stop him. Stop him. Stop him. Stop him. Stop him. Stop him. What is this dog doing? >> Stop him. COME OUT NOW. [screaming] >> STOP HIM. STOP HIM. Stop him. Get him off of me. >> Stop him. Stop him. Quit kicking my dog. Stop him. Stop him. >> WHAT THE ARE YOU DOING? >> STOP HIM. Stop him. >> Under arrest. >> You're under arrest. Come on now. >> I've never seen one of these dogs not just leap right on the suspect and latch on. This is weird. >> You're under arrest. Come on now. >> You're under arrest. COME ON NOW. YOU are out now. >> Come out. COME OUT. >> Stop him. Stop him. Stop him. Stop him. >> Why am I under arrest? >> Stop him. You choke my dog. It's going to be a bad day. >> I'm not hurting him. >> Come out now. >> Your dog just likes him. >> We have charges. Just come out. >> Be beastful. Come out. >> No. Just >> No. >> Just me. >> Come out. >> If I'm getting prison time, >> come out. Come out. >> What the? He now has the dog hostage. Like, never seen this before. I think this dog needs to go back to K9 Academy. >> Right here. >> Let my dog go. >> Put it right here. >> Let my dog go. >> Put a bullet. >> Let my dog go. >> Put a bullet in. >> Let my dog go. >> Put a bullet in your mouth. >> Put a bullet. >> He's got my dog. >> Let him go. >> Let my dog out. Get the [ __ ] out now. >> I got you. I got you. >> Finally connected. >> All right. Are you done? >> Are you done? >> Are you all done? >> No. It's going to be you to be done. >> Relax. >> Hey, go ahead and walk. >> We'll get you to the cart. >> Come on, man. >> As we said, >> it's going to work. We have felony charges on you and you also gain more >> because you failed to yield. So now you have multiple family charges work, man. >> Okay. All you had to do was stop. >> Stop for what? >> Lights and sirens. Number one. That's >> for what? >> You're required to stop. >> Why? Why were you pulling? >> Because you're going to jail for written threats to law enforcement. >> For written threats. We got >> But now you have multiple other charges. So that's on you, bud. >> Hold up. >> You have them? >> I got mine. You got them? >> It's on you, brother. >> It's on me. over $500. Did you even see why >> we tried? We tried to stop you and talk to you and did you stop? >> Did you talk to me, though? >> How can I? If you did, if you're if you breaking down and you want to >> Everything's on camera, brother. >> Y'all were just trying to test me. What I was going to do? That's what you want to do. Talk to me about what? Talk to me about theing corruption that you guys I was riding a [ __ ] scooter, man. This is over a [ __ ] stupid ass $500 worth of tickets. You would have been out. >> Yeah. >> Would have been out. What? >> We would have discussed it. Now you've got >> discussed what? Yeah. Yeah. You >> fighting law enforcement. >> I'm going through a mental episode. So >> Yeah. Well, it don't matter. >> Don't matter. Huh? >> We're going to put you in a car. Make sure there nothing else on them. I think we're good. I don't see any other darts in here. >> I say it all the time, but it bears repeating. The taser is usually only 50% effective. >> Dude, we we don't want to fight with you. We don't got to fight with y'all either, man. But >> they're a little tight on it. It is what it is, right? >> It is what it is. Yeah. >> You're going to get going to jail. Let's not get any more charges. >> Easy for y'all to man. Can I walk over to see at least show my truck? >> No. >> Please. >> Come on, man. >> I'm not We're not walking out there, bro. >> Dude, >> that that's on you. You didn't have to do that. >> Y'all didn't have to stop me either. I didn't need my impounded in the middle of the [ __ ] That was my client's job site I just had to drive by. I was literally going to work, man. This is this is why I'm just silent. I'm literally just >> If you would have stopped and been decent, we would have let you had someone call and get your truck. >> You chose not to do that. Okay. The damage on your vehicle is all because of you. >> Has nothing to do with us. >> Y'all are targeting me. >> Yeah. Because you're committing crimes. >> Double check the truck and >> Yeah. >> You want me to just leave the firearm right here for right now or do you want me to take it until we determine if he's >> Yeah, let's You can leave it there. We'll come back in again because if if it's not a I don't want it. So if he's not a convicted felon, then >> really no reason. >> Before I talk to you, just so you know, everything's recorded on my phone. All right. That way, you know, everything's just straight up. So the time's 7:40 p.m. Wednesday, September 4th, 2024. Person being interviewed is Matthew Me. No hard drugs. You're in your right state of mind if you think clearly. You know, you're in the hospital. You know I'm a detective. >> All right. I want to talk to you about the stuff you've been calling our dispatch about >> making post attacking our sheriff's office and those >> like to have a small conversation about your threatening to kill us. [clears throat] >> Did I? >> I know you called into our dispatch yesterday. our call taker. It's just you called our dispatch just wanting to really give us a warning. Correct. >> [ __ ] drugless cell [snorts] distortion, kidnapping and murder. You guys are trying to commit. >> Okay. So the sole sole purpose of calling dispatch was just to >> have cops in general just leave you alone. >> He's kind of diminishing the threats. Good tactic. Make them more comfortable. It's kind of like saying it's not a big deal. You just want to be left alone, right? Just try to get them to open up. >> Am I understanding that correctly? >> Spent 10 years fighting for my driver's license with the right to just move around. I'm homeless in a cargo trailer. I lose my driver's license. I can't move my house around. >> You know how that feels. >> You feel threatened to look over your shoulder all the time. >> That's all I ask for is be left alone. >> Not asking you guys to trying to blind out the law like you're doing with all the politicians these days. >> [ __ ] if we cut off all your guys' funding, there'll be some answers. >> You know how much it's wasteful goes against government's hands. There is a lot Facebook post and calling our dispatch >> is really just to try to get us to feel how you feel >> by having us my story too. Y'all do that. I >> you listen to recordings. >> I listen to the call from yesterday where you call in dispatch. Are you someone that we need to be scared of? And >> as long as I'm left alone, I ain't trying to bother nobody. I mean, you can go back and listen to the recording. I said I don't want to hurt nobody. I just want to be like I want my freedoms. >> I want to stand be able to stand for my justices. >> Everyone has a freedom speech, but as soon as you start making death threats and threats to harm people online, >> I just went to almost went to prison for aggravated stalking against my ex-wife >> cuz I'm just trying to see my kids. So yeah, I read tons of the law. The whole nine months I sat in jail, I read the law. >> So yeah, I understand. >> So what do you mean by this post? It's official. Extortion is going to meet bullets. [ __ ] that driver's license. Warning to pigs. Make contact. Get shot at. >> Pretty clear. >> What's that supposed to mean? >> You're just fed up. >> You see where that's concerning with us? Because you could have a brand new rookie deputy who just stops you for doing five over rolling a stop bar. Don't know who you are. Don't know anything about what's going on with Felucia County. and they're just eating bullets. You kind of see how that's concerning. >> I said I give a warning. >> You said you would give a warning >> on the call to dispatch. >> Mhm. >> Well, the call sounded like that was the warning. >> The warning was to like, hey, you know, you guys know who this am. My truck sticks out like a rolling space station. >> I don't know what your truck looks like. These people who are wrapped up in this stuff often believe like everybody's watching them, everybody knows them. Reality of it is most of the cops probably don't. I'm here. This is no way to live, man. I said, you're absolutely right. Being extorted for your driver's license every goddamn day of theing year >> for 10 years straight is no way to live. >> I don't know. >> I haven't talked to my goddamn son in six years. He turned 18 last month. He lives 5 minutes around the corner from me where you guys chase me at. >> What's keeping you from seeing me? >> My ass export and try to get some visitation or something. >> Yep. Can't even talk to him on the phone. >> He's 18 now. >> I petition the courts. I petition the courts. I wrote a 20page motion. I spent so much valuable time. You know what the judge said? >> I'm not doing that. Is there a restraining order where you can't see it? >> Yeah, I was a restraining law for 10 years. I looked up all the laws on that. Judges are all out of their bounds on that [ __ ] >> It includes your son, too, even though he's 18. >> No, the judges all It's not against your son. It's not against your kids. You want to know where the closesting visitation center was? It was in Venice. They turned it into a casino. >> Have a daughter, too. >> His last name. >> Yeah. >> What can I do for you right now, Matthew? No, we don't want to do that. >> Sad. For our first case, she was charged with three counts of resisting an officer without violence. She posted a $7,500 bond, and the court case is still ongoing. And for the second case, Matthew's final charges in court were corruption by threat against a public servant and use of a two-way communications device to facilitate a felony.
