On February 3rd, 2023, Dunwy police officers responded to a dispute between a husband and wife in a residential neighborhood in Georgia. Okay. Where's uh where's uh is it boyfriend husband? Husband? Okay. I just got here so I don't know exactly too much about what's going on. Okay. So, what's going on, Carl? Nothing. I need my firearms. You need your firearms? Yeah. Okay. Well, what happened with her? Um I was at my girlfriend's house. Do you mind if I sit? Yeah, absolutely. If you need to sit, go ahead and sit, man. Can you hold this? No, no. The chair's fine. Chair's fine. Can you hold that, please? Yeah. Thank you. I was at my girlfriend's house. Yeah. And I brought the guns there and um they were loaded and then um she went to the hospital. You guys know about that. And um they were disarmed. Um I disarmed the HK45. Thank you. Y thank you. And um someone took three bullets out of the out of the uh revolver. It's a 38 revolver and I just need those and I realize you got your cam on. Yeah. You can film me as much as you want. No, it's just by by policies. We have to have our body cameras on whenever we come to come out to any kind of call. So, um, you said this is Sorry, I thought you I No, you're good. So, this is all related to, uh, you trying to get your firearms back. Yeah. And you said they're at your girlfriend's house. No, they're in the basement. They're in the basement here. Uh, are they locked? Are they Do you They can be. They can be. And you can watch me lock them. And you can lock them yourself. So, why the keys? What's the sword? Does she try to hide them from you? I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. But can you see why? Maybe it's in a brown nails bag. Yeah. Look, I I'm a familiar gun owner. Yeah. Okay. I know exactly what I'm doing with those mother. They're downstairs. I'm not saying that you don't. I didn't ask. Yeah. I didn't ask. I'm telling you, they're downstairs. Yeah. I wanted them brought up and that's it. Yeah. You can watch me lock them or you can take them. I don't care. Did she not bring them up or bring them up? She wouldn't bring them up. Do you do you maybe see why she didn't? Let's look at the record. Okay. No. No. I'm just saying you're had something to drink tonight. Yeah. Um so I'm allowed to drink in my own home. I know. But in her defense, maybe she didn't want to bring them up because she felt she doesn't want guns around while you've been fair. I locked them up. I'll show you the keys. Don't pull anything. Please don't pull anything. No, you're good. These are the two keys I don't give her access to because she steals my keys. Okay. All right. So, what what kind of what agreement can we uh come to in here? You're clearly intoxicated. There are juveniles in here. Yep. My So, like I said, you're clearly you've had something to drink tonight. There's, you know, Is that your guys' children? Is that your guys' kids? Yeah. And you guys are married? Yeah. Okay. So, do you see why maybe she doesn't want to bring them up? I don't want to, you know, I don't want to argue with you. I don't want to argue with her when I go in there and speak with her. Take the guns. For all I care, take the guns. Yeah. We I mean, at at the end of the day, if we if we absolutely need to, not that we're confiscating, but we can keep it for safekeeping, you can always go pick it up. Fine. But, um, is is that something that you'd be willing to do? Yes. Yes. Do it now. It's a brown nail bag. Do not do not take the bag. It's a brown nails bag. It's brown. Yeah, they should be cleared. If not, I can clear them. Were you guys in there when you guys were arguing? Go get them the bag. Oh, I'm sorry. Where were you guys in the house when you guys were uh I guess in a verbal where you saw me? Where you saw me? You were there. It's a brown nail's bag. It's a brown nail's bag. Apparently, it's in the basement. Mhm. should be cleared. If not, I'll clear it. I get it. Uh, anything physical happened today? No, no, no, no, no. Okay. And she'd say the same thing on her end? Uh, I I don't know. I mean, she's a liar. She's she's a liar. She's a th Okay. Sorry. She's not a th All right, cool. Is there firearms anywhere else in the house other than down there? Yeah, but they're all encased. They're all in case. Yeah. Okay, cool. There's multiple firearms in the in the house. Okay, I'll go in there and talk to her. Make sure I get So, it's downstairs. I don't know why my son is screaming. I am not grabbing for a firearm. No, you're good. Okay. Okay. I'm cold. Okay. We'll get you warm inside. All right. I'm going to the fireplace. Okay. Okay. Can you please open the door? Officers spoke with his wife and since nothing physical occurred and it was just a verbal argument, they left. You have any questions or any y'all be safe. Call us back. But it was only the beginning of a long evening. Just 20 minutes later, officers were back at the house. The husband had called 911 again. Don't worry, please. Hey, what's up, man? Hey, what's going on? Um, I told I told him not You want to sit on the staircase there so you don't fall over? Oh, no. I'll I'll sit on the fireplace. Let's sit right here on the staircase, man. Carl, right? Yeah, she's upstairs. She's upstairs. Yep. Where where are the kids? Are they with mom? Yep. A supervisor went to speak with his wife, but she had no idea that her drunk husband had called the police again. Hey, what are you guys? I don't know. We got to call back out here. Well, if you want to come out here, I'll talk to you that in here with kids and all. Yeah, someone said something about someone being assaulted or something. Not sure. I guess it was obvious after we left last time. What was obvious? Hm. What was obvious after you left? The last time we left like 10 minutes ago he called the police again. I'm assuming so that I was assaulted or that he was assaulted. I'm assuming it was him since you had no idea. So hopefully as soon as you guys left, they got my kids up here and I have been in here the whole time. In fact, I only went outside just a minute ago and got my son some fresh ice water. Okay. And like I've been in here away from him the whole time. Okay. You were arguing over a gun last time. I'm sorry. Arguing over a gun last time. No. So that was the other thing too. I was in here with my youngest cuz I just try and stay with him because he's on a vendor and it it's not a good situation. And I came down the stairs and he was on the phone with 911 saying that I took his guns from. And I was like, Carl, I don't know what you're talking about. And that he was on speaker. And I was like, "Ma'am, I did not take his guns. They're in the gun closet, but he's incredibly intoxicated. I don't know why he wants these guns, but like none of this has happened. They're in the basement, but maybe. And he's like, "You guys need to come out." And then when you guys didn't come out fast enough, then he called again. He's like, "I feel unsafe. There's guns in the house." And I'm like, "He's the one asking for the guns." Okay. And then as soon as you guys left, he looked at me. He was go get my [ __ ] guns from the basement. I was like, "No, I'm not." That's when I got my kids and I came up here and I shut them off the door. Okay, let me run down there and talk to him real quick and see what's going on that side and we'll hope they have a solution for you here soon. Mhm. I don't know anymore. Yeah. Nope. Give us a few and we'll we'll come let you know. Okay. Okay. So, what what happened this time? What happened this time? Kylie. There's this fight. It's a fight. What happened? Nothing. Wasn't physical. Wasn't a physical fight. Y'all were just arguing stuff. No, no, no. There was nothing physical. You guys just arguing? No, she Yeah, but yeah. What about this time? Um, I want her to get my guns. Okay. They're my possessions. Yeah, she's refusing to give them to you. Yeah, it's because you're intoxicated, man. She doesn't want to give you guns when you're when you're intoxicated. I know. I know. Uh it's hard to hear that, but I mean that's that's the truth. And that's I know. But she's also kept things for me. She's also kept things for me. Where's the third officer? Huh? Where's the third officer? Which officer? I want to ask again. He's checking on your wife. Oh, okay. Okay. So, nothing physical happened at all? You guys just arg um that's her thing. And uh you're going to ask Everett Sean Corbett. Uh Estis. Estis. Yeah. He's got a he's got a uh he's got a uh he's got a not a black eye, but he's got a he's got an eye. [ __ ] off. He's got a block he's got a significant. So, what what kind of a what kind of agreement can we come to? What What can we do to uh help you guys not argue besides giving you your guns? I'm not the one to ask. You're not the one to ask? Correct. So, if we ask her what what would uh what do you think would be best? I don't know. I would actually love to hear that. Yeah. Yeah. You want to play psychologist? I'd love it. No. No. No. Let's do that. Let's do that. Do what? What you just said? Speak with her and maybe outcome. Go speak with her and come down and let's come to a resolution. I would love that. I would love that. In your mind, what would be the best resolution for you? You just said it. What? I What? What was that? You just said it, which is a resolution. I don't I don't know how else to say it. But we we need a resolution from both sides. Okay. So, well, well, you'll be here. You've got your cam on. Yeah. And so do you. And that's that. Okay. Well, we'll go up there in a second and and and see what we can do. But, uh, all done. We can't keep coming back, you know. Understood. Uh especially if you guys are just I know it's one of those weird situations where you guys just arguing. It's better we be here uh prevent anything else from happening, but uh you can't just keep calling 911 over just something small. You know what I'm saying? Uh where we going? Uh to the refrigerator. To the refrigerator for what? For a drink. A drink? Did you call 911 again? I did. She's gone. She's what? She's gone. Um, she's mentally ill and so is her son, her stepson, and they're mentally ill and I I just can't. And if they think I'm mentally ill, that's fine. We're going to sit at the fireplace again. Yes. All right. It's going to be the last time we get up. All right. We're going to sit right here until we're done with our conversation. Fair enough. Y'all all got me on camp, correct? So, why are we here again? Um, she's mentally ill and she's caused chaos. What the hell is that? She um wants to fight with me for no reason to come here. Stop getting sunshine when cats meount leaves your hands cleaner than a used dish towel that can carry. She's scared of my children. She's scared of cat. So why did you call 911? Because second time or third time? Because I needed your help. No, it was the second time. Okay. For what? She lost control. Doing what? She was violent and she hit me. Okay. What did she do that was violent? She hit me in the face with what? Her hand. Okay. Do you have any uh marks on you? No. I train boxing and jiu-jitsu when uh she can't or nor her stepson [ __ ] Okay. How old is your stepson? 21. Where is he at? Arizona. So that's got nothing to do with anybody being here? No. No, that has nothing to do with anybody being here. She hit me. She hit me square in the doll. I didn't care. But as you probably know Oh, there's number four. Oh, you're number four, actually. Um, I don't I don't I don't appreciate the whispering. Just so you know, that's fine. That's going to be them talking. I didn't ask. Didn't ask either. I'm explaining. Fair enough. Fair enough. Actually, if one of you want to do it in slow motion, please, cuz you're a large man. I'll show you. Do you want me to show you? Show me what? How she slapping? You show me on you. Not on me. All right. That's how it was. Okay. Right hand. Okay. If you want to sit here, I'll show you. And when was that? About an hour ago, maybe two. I don't know. You called 911 a second time after we left. Correct. How much time do you think went by between when I don't know? No, I know what you're going to ask. I don't I don't know. I I don't know. I simply don't know. You know what time it is now without looking at a watch? Yeah. Let's not cheat on it. Where's that accident injury at? We are actually physically um in in a court of law separated. Okay. Are you guys divorced or what's going on? What's the story? Yes, I filed for a divorce. Okay. So, this is what we're going to do, Carl. If we get another call back, we're going to have to do something about the situation. All right. So, um however, she's upstairs. She's been upstairs with the kids and it's been this quiet this whole time. We got to maintain it this way. We can't We can't keep arguing. You can't keep calling. I disagree with you, but that's okay. No, I know. But I'm tell what I'm telling you is you can't keep calling us for for things that aren't happening. You can't fabricate stories. Fine. And things like that. Okay. Fair enough. So, u we get one more call out here. We're going to have to do something about this situation. Okay. I get it. All right. I get it. I'm not saying I don't want to discourage you from calling. I'm going to say this to you, you and you. I understand it's fair enough. Yeah. Okay. Got it. But I just I just want to get the point across that I'm not I don't need to hear any more from you. And while we're out here, man, but actually that's disrespectful. Well, I'm trying a I apologize for that. Yeah. I apologize. I apologize for for you know us having you don't need to apologize. Please don't. Okay. And you've got the camera on me and I'm telling you I understand. Cool. All right. Well, we'll be out of here. Okay. Fair enough. Yep. Thank you. Hey, I'm going to run up and turn. I mean, right here. All right. Um, so we're going to go. There's not much we can do really at this point. Well, if he does, then the next time we get a call out here, then he's just going to go with us for 911 abuse. Okay. Um, I talked to our dispatcher that took the call last time or he was uh giving the call out. He said that um he's obviously intoxicating his calls. Um, but there wasn't he wasn't like cussing the dispatch or anything. There weren't any barbarities. Um, his claim was that you were actively hitting him when he called us last time. The last time that's what our dispatchers told. Um, so after you guys left when he said I took his gun, he called again and said that I was actively hitting him. Mhm. Yeah. What is He's mentally There's not He's not right. Yeah. So there's nothing that we can I mean as far as all this goes right now our hands kind of tight cuz he's in the house he's drinking obviously definitely can't take So okay absolutely not a problem. Nope. Not a problem. You take care. And um I mean I don't know. I mean it's your choice but you can leave this locked obviously. After listening to his wild stories officers left again but not before warning him that if he called one more time there would be consequences. And a couple of hours later, they were back at the house for the third time. We'll kind of get our base up. Nobody. Police. Come in. Please. What's going on, man? Call. Yeah. Come in. Please. We're We're going to come inside. Okay. I know. I just said that. So, what happened? What's going on this time? I can't find my wallet and she won't There's a lot of good. She's in the room to the left. There's two kids in there, so Hey, he's done, please. Hey, so obviously he called again. Um, what's what's what's he complaining about? Hey bud. Hold on. Hold on a second. What's he uh what's he complaining about? He accuse He came to the door and accused me of taking his phone. I have not left this room since I locked it when he walked out. Yeah. Mhm. I told him I don't have his phone. So he demanded I call it. So I called it twice. Yeah. And then he called me like to tell me he had his phone and then he told me to give him his wallet and I said, "I haven't left this room." I even have the text messages. I haven't left this room. I don't have any of your veins. then I'm going to call 911. And I was like, I don't have your things. You do what you need to do. I don't have anything. I don't know. I can't. Like, he's hyperfocused on me tonight. Well, he's not going to be gone. Are you guys? Mhm. Thank God. Yeah. He's He's out of control. Thank you. Yeah. Thank you. I'm trying to find my wallet and I can't find it and I don't know where she is. You don't know where she is? She's upstairs. No, I just said that. That's where I assume she is. So, you can't find her wallet and you assume that she's upstairs. Correct. That's why you called. Yeah. The door is locked. Yeah. If you walk upstairs, go to your left. You That is where I assume she is. Is that the bedroom door locked? Yeah, it's locked. Yeah, it's locked. Yeah. 91. You mind if I drink on my home? So, you told 911 that your wife was physically assaulting you this time? I did. But you're telling us that you called us cuz you can't find your wallet, correct? She hit me. And I told you she hit me. Yeah. You want to stand up for us? No. Go ahead and stand up cuz you're under arrest. Stand up. Stand up. Stand up. You're under arrest for 911 abuse.
