He's in the car behind the shed. >> Who is it? Dwayne. >> Yes, Dwayne. >> Apparently, Dwayne is someone both Taylor and Taylor have dealt with before. >> Come on out, Dwayne. >> Come on, Dwayne. I'm asking. >> Yeah, >> cuz you know I'm going to look. 59year-old Dwayne Jones is currently in the Prairie County Jail facing a plethora of charges. As for the shed, we reached out to Chief Taylor for an update and he told us that shed is now a pile of splinters. >> All right. Plethora plethora >> charges. Really? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Very very uh nice big juicy SAT word. >> Yeah. I'm not I'm not sure that they would describe it as that. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. I've never even seen a case before. >> Really? >> Yes, sir. >> How long you had this car? Two years. Too long. >> You've had it for two years and you've never looked in the center console? >> Well, it's not something I do. I did in it. I mean, >> so you wouldn't you would pass a drug test today. >> Well, I hope so. >> I don't need I hope so. >> Hey, ask me that question. >> Well, yeah, you're going to pass it. >> Absolutely pass. >> But you're hoping so. >> I hope so. >> Yeah. So, you're a little unsure if you're going to pass that drug test. >> Sure. >> We're We're not We're not upset with your matt. We're just We're trying to >> I'm mad. >> I mean, I You have right to be mad, you know, cuz >> I don't want to get in trouble for >> cuz you're in pretty bad trouble. That's a felony. >> Yeah. And I don't need nothing else. >> Matter of fact, that's more than 2 g. That's a class C felony. >> That's not mine. I I've never seen it before. >> It's your vehicle. >> I know. >> It's in the console. >> It's in the center console. You've had the car for 2 years. And >> that's a good one. known to us. You know, we just arrested her husband last week for dope. I guess he got consent to search the vehicle or whatever. And then the console found a small amount of marijuana. The what? >> Search waiver. >> Oh yeah, she got search waiver. Okay. So, state of Arkansas, you get a search waiver and when you get out on parole and probation and you sign your rights to way to be searched. So, she has a search waiver and she can be searched at any time by law enforcement. So searching inside the console, found a couple grams of look like suspected methamphetamine. So jail's full on females right now because we got some from that one from last night in there. So uh what we're going to do, she's a local. We'll do an affidavit, take it to the prosecuting attorney's office and he'll issue a warrant and then uh we'll go back and arrest her. We know where she lives. Yeah, we see this again and again. You know, they know these people. Uh, oh yeah, we know her. We arrested her husband. See it all the time. >> It's that catch and release continues. >> Yeah. There he went. >> Game on. There he goes. Go, go, go, go, go. >> What we got? >> We got a wanted suspect that we've been tracking state police tracked us. Oh >> Felony traffic stop. >> Hey, let's do a felony traffic stop. Is that 28? >> Yeah. Come on up. SHOW ME YOUR HANDS. PUT your hands up. Put your hands up. >> Thanks away from me. Don't look at me. Keep your hands up. >> Hey, I got this. Go over there with Josh. Help Josh. >> Driver, with your right hand, turn the car off. 2014 traffic stop one lane Sunday 821 >> driver with your right hand turn the car driver over the left hand back in right here. Yeah, you're co. >> Step out of the car, face away from you, and walk backwards until I tell you to stop. >> Hey, we're letting co run backwards. Keep walking. Keep walking. Keep walking. Keep walking. Stop. Two steps to your right. >> Hey, Dylan. Keep coming back. Come back. Stop. >> Walk back. Walk back. >> Walk back. >> Walk back to me right here. Hand behind your back. >> Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep coming. >> Yes, sir. >> Behind me. Behind me. Get behind me. Keep coming. Keep coming. Keep coming. >> Stop. All right, Dylan. Grab her. >> Walk back. Walk back. Walk. Don't turn around. Walk back. >> Open the door with your right hand. >> A minute. Just wait. >> Just back up and keep your mouth shut. >> Face away from me. >> Got to be racist. >> Turn around. >> Who's got CS? Who's got cut? >> Stop. >> Based on what they tell you. Hey, is there anybody else in the car? >> You're fine. You're fine. >> Hey, get this shield out of the back of my car. >> Follow him. >> In the back. Right in the back on top of the thing. >> All right. Ready? >> Hold on. Wait. Wait. Wait. He's grabbing the shield. Shield's in the back. >> You staying there. You ready? Yeah. >> Car clear. Shut that door. >> Hey, get out of the road. >> Hey, who's in the road? Get out of the road. at you. You got several minutes. >> Okay, >> that's why we're not just stopping. >> I'm scared. I'm sorry. I'm scared. I'm down here, man. You understand? Yes, sir. >> Yes, I understand. >> All right. So, now they're going to try and sort it out. They were looking for a suspect wanted for burglary to see if this is their suspect. I think it's you, but I'm not sure. They said the driver and I'll check in here in a minute. You got warrants? >> I don't think so. >> Sir, I'm not. So, if he don't know who y'all >> We got the name. We got the name. They sent us the Yeah, they sent us the person's name. It's all >> That's not me. Y'all got to be mistaken. >> They profile when it's dark. We have a specific vehicle in a specific. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. I'm I'm just listening. That's all I can do. Could I get somebody to pull my pants up in the back? >> Yeah, bud. >> You got it. >> I appreciate it. You're good. Look at us. >> Relax. Okay. >> I got your license plate number, everything. So, quit being loud. Okay. You not in Michigan. We're in Arkansas. We don't do that here. We treat people respectfully. And you going to do the same thing cuz I know your grandma taught you better than that. Okay? So, don't be loud. I'm not going to be loud with you. So, just sit here and relax and let us work through it and figure out what's going on and why they got us looking for you. Okay? You got all this attention. Okay? It ain't just cuz we out here profiling and being racist like you running your mouth about. It ain't it ain't like that. We wasn't raised that way. So sit here and chill out. Okay. Thank you. >> What's your name, bud? >> My name is Dez. >> What is it? >> Come here. Come here. >> Your who? >> Yeah. Come here. Indiana last night. >> What's your name? >> Indiana. >> Now they are saying they are not the person who they are looking for. Of >> course they had of course they had the >> license plate but >> they're denying that >> the right person. So they may have the wrong person. We we shall see. >> So he's the guy. >> Back to the chief >> who was looking for a burglary suspect. They stopped his car. We got we we were sent some information with state police be a bolo. I'll be on the lookout for this vehicle uh with an individual in it. Right now uh we located the vehicle. We've got it stopped. Got the felony takedown. Got all the occupants out of there cuz this guy has several felony warrants out of Michigan and in some other states. Uh so right now we're in the process. We're just going to ID all these individuals. um cuz the name so far that they've given us is not the the individual that we're looking for, but that don't mean they're telling us the right name. So, uh I'm going to get on the computer right now and try and figure out exactly who these individuals are. And uh I think um Colton and Dylan have found some marijuana in a car. Clayton and Josh got some some kind of pills that was in this young man's wallet. So, uh we're just going to try and do some background on them real quick and see what we can find out. 37 832. >> All right, we shall see if they end up uh letting them go on their way. All right, want to go to Hazen, Arkansas now, where Chief Bradley Taylor and Sergeant Clayton Dillian had pulled over a vehicle. Apparently, the license plate matched a bolo out of northeast Arkansas involving a retail theft case. >> The driver, two other people, removed at gunpoint. One of the passengers, turns out, gave a fake name, which they eventually sorted out. That passenger had many previous run-ins with the law as well as three or four active warrants. He was placed under arrest. The other two were let go. >> Now, with an update on the case is the chief, Bradley Taylor. Thanks so much for joining us. Appreciate it. All right. So, what have you learned since then about those other two folks who were in the car? >> Oh, Dan, we've learned so much today. I've been in uh contact multiple times with uh Missouri police up there. Um, these three individuals have been in a multi-state they right now I think they've got it up to about a 81 incidences that they have done of this retail theft and I think a lot of values is totaling up to about a little over $148,000 worth of theft that they've done those three individuals. >> And so the three of them have been working together. It it's it seems that way. Uh I've got a few reports uh today and going through those. Uh yeah, it seems like they've got some kind of scam going together u and those three working together and stealing from Walmart and Walgreens. >> Do do you now have warrants out for the other two? >> Uh Missouri is uh you know last night we had to let the two individuals go because they didn't have any warrants. So, uh, they didn't actually know the names of the the two individuals that was in the car. Uh, we knew the name of the other guy that we arrested. That was already known to us, but we informed them in Missouri of the names that we pulled over last night and the detective that I talked to today, they're issuing warrants next week for those other two individuals. >> Oh, wow. >> All right. Well, your your instincts were right on this one, and it turns out uh you had the right license plate number. We were here in studio uh questioning saying you know hey uh unclear the name didn't seem to match and then about an hour later we learned that the guy had given a fake name. So uh good on you on being able to sort that out. >> Yeah you I I watched that this morning. I I checked it out this morning. I said man they second guessing me. I said man you got to go with your gut boys. [laughter] >> Chief, thanks a lot. Appreciate it. Look forward to watching you from here tonight. Anytime, guy. >> Get out of the way. >> In Hazen, Arkansas in what looks like a pursuit with Chief Bradley Taylor and Sergeant Clayton Dillian. B 140 right black now. Live traffic. Pass 180. >> We're going to watch this really closely as they try to catch up to see where that takes them. came in. >> Oh, wow. >> Let's check them. Get medical. >> I can't see anything. >> Go ahead. Break that window. >> Go and break that window. >> I don't have anything to break it with. >> Trevor, >> I hear him kicking the other side. >> Open the door. >> Hey, come to me. >> Come to me. Come to me. It's fine. Keep your hands. Come to me. >> How many people's inside? >> How many people are inside? >> Two. >> All right. >> Come on out. Keep crawling, son. Keep crawling. >> I got his hands. I got his hands. You cover. You cover. >> I got cover. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go. Oh >> Can you not get the door open? >> No, sir. Come on. Pull me some help. >> Come this way. >> Hey, is the other person still? >> Yeah. >> Are they talking? >> Yes. >> All right. Keep them talking. What's their name? >> Hey, get your hands out here. >> I know. >> We're trying out. Come on. Don't shoot. Come on. Hey, if the other person can get that back seat down, they probably run out the truck. >> Listen, >> don't go back in that car. >> Keep digging. Keep digging. You do it yourself. >> I'm going to go less. >> Listen. Come on. Keep coming out. >> The ground. >> Go. Soon as you get out out of there, you go straight down. Put your hands behind your back. Hands behind your back. Your hands behind you. >> Don't worry about your pants. >> Crawl to me. >> My hands behind your back. >> PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN. >> I AIN'T WORRIED ABOUT YOUR PHONE. >> CRAWL TO ME. YOU CRAWL TO me now. >> Come on now. >> Come on now. >> Come on. >> Now dig. >> Dig. Hands where we can see them. Get your hands out. >> Come on. Come on. >> Other hand. >> Come on. Put your hands on your chest. Is there anybody else in the car? No, sir. Hands behind your back. Hands behind your back. Y'all got a gun, sir? >> They got a gun somewhere. >> All right, listen. As far as I can tell, that caramelbody. We don't need a 10. >> Stand up. cancel. >> We need a countless 101. >> One, two, three. >> Just pull. I'mma pull your drones up, buddy. >> Can I put my money back in my pocket? >> Wait, can you grab >> Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. >> To stop you. >> I did get up. Okay. Listen, listen. Nothing. They're going to move over for law enforcement. And you didn't use your turn signal when you change lanes and you were following. Those are the three ways I tried to stop you. Why'd you run? >> Because I was scared. I'm This is my first time ever on the road. >> Listen to this. My first time ever on the road. >> Listen. Are you okay? >> You're not hurt. >> Are you good? >> Hey, are you hurting? >> Yeah. Just go put him up or is it not bud? >> It hurting but it ain't I can walk. >> No, I'm just saying from the from the wrist. Did you cancel? >> Have a seat right here on you, >> bud. Okay. You good? >> Everybody okay? >> He's got a lot of money that big. >> Yeah, both of them do. >> Hey, listen. >> Listen, you have the right to remain silent. Anything you say and will be used against you in the court of law. Deep breath. >> You have the right to have attorney presenting questions. You can stop asking questions at any time. You >> understand? You understand your rights? >> Yes, sir. >> Why did y'all record 140 mph? >> I don't have that option. >> Yes, sir. We're putting it in a bag. >> Hey, here's your driver's ID. Hey, turn your head, dude. >> He smells like marijuana. real strong. >> I got to continue on my number out of Tennessee. >> No, sir. >> No, we're not calling anybody. You're grown. >> My driver. >> You're grown. You grown. We don't call nobody. >> You did this. It's on you. >> Well, you you know you're from Tennessee. Welcome to Arkansas. We will chase the bad guys and we will catch you. I just didn't do no wrong. >> 140 mph, bro. >> No, I wouldn't. You ain't got to lie to me. >> Two bags. One back. >> I did my I just >> listen. You can't You can't take responsibility for your actions. Tell the judge. Tell the judge. Bro, >> I can take too. I patted him down. Everybody said we won't go now. >> We ain't got no guns. >> Hey, welcome to Asian guys. >> We ain't just got you in there. I respect that the wrong but I'm saying from my understanding I seen already I was driving my girlfriend told me how to drive I know you can't stay over in the bypass lane >> if you hadn't reset reset here >> I I clicked my my my my go reset our please I'll stand right Okay. >> I didn't do nothing. I didn't do nothing. Uh-huh. I didn't do nothing but evade arrest cuz I was I didn't have >> Yeah. Hey, guess what? >> Uh-huh. >> State of Arkansas. You evade arrest. Guess what? This is what happens to you. Okay. We will chase you. We will catch you and you're going to jail for a felony. >> Okay. Yes, sir. It's a felony in the state of Arkansas when you run from law enforcement. You understand that? Yes, sir. You pass people on the shoulder, you pass people in the meeting, you put people's lives in danger. Therefore, you may be charged with extra felony charges. State Arkansas. This ain't Memphis, Tennessee. We will chase you. You don't understand that. >> I told no damage. Just got part. >> That's good. >> Yeah. I got shallow on the first one. >> He called me out on the radio over and I said, "Well, shall the second >> I couldn't hear nothing. >> We were." >> All right. So, one of the things we saw there was the combination of rescue and law enforcement at the same time. It was asking get out, but I need cover. >> Yeah. So, it's law enforcement versus life saving and uh having to do both of those simultaneously while covering for each other. And then communication was key. If you noticed, you know, the chief there saying, "I got cover. You go ahead and do that." Communication's key on that. So, the roles are established and the job gets done. The lives are preserved. So, >> yeah. Speaking about preserve, they also have to preserve anything that may have been in that vehicle, like collecting that money. And once they get the record there, lift it up just a little bit so they could search and make sure the chain of custody is good with this. >> Yeah, there was there was a lot of money there and I I kept I kept thinking, "Wow, this is going to blow away." I was watching one $20 bill blow away. >> Are they going to get it before it goes down? That's right. That's right. >> Um, all right. Let's go back to Hazen. >> While we were on the traffic stop, that lady a second ago didn't move over for us. Josh and him were just right up right up the road from us. They tried to initiate a traffic stop on them, blacked out, took off on them. Uh they were reaching speeds of 140 mph. Uh blacked out with their headlights out, passing people in the in the median on the shoulder. They took the car exit and then jumped the highway, got back on. Uh and once we're probably 3 or four miles from the Carlile exit, uh Officer Middleton went ahead and TV eyed. Um they lost control once he TVIed, rolled over. Uh both individuals, he said he just he wasn't doing anything but running. So uh he's going to figure out it's not okay to run in Arkansas. They're both fine. Uh the pastors told us two or three names so far. So car smells like marijuana. They both got a large sum of money on them. Regger gets here. We'll flip it over and uh see if I got anything in the car. There's a holster in the car, too. So there's probably going to be a gun in there. wondering which way >> Curtis TVI tactical vehicle intervention. So that meant that they pit that vehicle to get it to stop. >> Wow. And they were going at high speed. >> High rate of speed. >> Yeah. Not every department you can do that. >> The booking process, >> sir. >> The booking process. >> What about it? >> My phone in the car. I I can't get in your phone. You had to crawl out the back. Okay. You remember that? >> We'll get your phone, brother. >> Listen, we're going to get your phone. >> But when when Regger gets here, we're going to flip your car over and get inside your car >> and then we'll get it. Okay. So, just chill out. It's over with. Everything done is over with. >> But I would ask you like, are we able to b ourselves out >> with our cash like my money or this? If we find any weed in your car, you don't have no cash. >> There's nothing in there. >> Okay. >> We ain't got no >> Okay. >> And then look y'all. >> Can y'all give my girlfriend bag? >> No, we ain't getting your girlfriend draws. >> No, I said her bag. >> Cameron Matthew. >> He's 53 out of county. >> 53 out of county. He's done a war in Alaska County. >> The family war misdemeanor. I'm on probation. They just leave me out of jail. >> Who was driving you? >> Ain't no misdemeanor felony. >> I don't think misdemeanor, do they? >> I don't think robberies misdemeanor, bud. >> Palaski County, Memphis, Tennessee is a lot of life. >> That just got me. Excellent. Whose car is it? >> It's a rental. >> He says his girlfriend rented it. >> She didn't >> Bumble. I don't >> She didn't rent it. My girlfriend car got messed up. >> So the insurance company got it for >> what? >> Hey, so did y'all run because of his robbery warrants? I ain't nothing say can't release you on a failure to appear. >> Oh lord. >> You got a warrant out of little rock. They don't >> if he's in jail at Memphis. So they probably just let him go. But they wouldn't come over and get him probably. >> Oh, that's where he got picked up with people. >> He said he'd been just got out of Memphis jail. >> Oh, they ain't going to deal with plastic counters. It's in state own. >> That's what I'm saying. So maybe >> hope the girlfriend got the lost damage waiver when she rented that vehicle. >> Yeah. Yeah. I don't know if there's something in there for pursuit. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. [laughter] This is the scene in Hazen, Arkansas. The aftermath of a pursuit followed by >> they call a vehicle intervention, otherwise known as a pit maneuver, which landed that vehicle there. They're now waiting for a wrecker, I guess. Come and flip the vehicle >> and the suspects asking for their phones. >> Yeah, sure. >> Saying, you know, hey, I want to get my phone. It's in the car. And the answer is, you're going to have to wait until we can flip the car. >> Yeah, just a bit. Just a bit. We're going to We have a few things we have to take care of first. >> Nobody remembers numbers anymore. They want the phone. >> That's right. Exactly. The chief Bradley Taylor and Sergeant Clayton Dillian are on the scene with a car that is uh >> apparently stuck on a curb. >> You open this door. >> Yeah, I see >> that gap right there. >> Is that already like it? >> No. >> Well, boy, >> that happened. We put it back together. >> Oh, good hands. >> I don't know what button you just pushed, but don't push it again. >> You quit touching [laughter] stuff. >> Oh, Lord. >> I might need your hands. What are you doing? >> That ain't going to stay on, sis. >> You don't think so? >> No. If you just touched it and it fell. >> Well, I was thinking what I could do. >> Hold on. Let's see if it they fit. Is the thing's gone on it? Broke on it. It's got to go forward and then back. You see that? >> Go forward. >> You see how them clips are? >> Oh, yeah. >> See how it's open? So, you got to go forward. >> Oh, I see. And then push it back. >> Oh, no. Back forward. >> Oh, I think this might need to be open a little bit more. There you go. There you got it. Go back. >> Supposed to go that far. >> Uh, it should, but it looks like >> there's bottom ones. >> There's something ain't touching. >> But I was kind of hoping to see even if we get Oh, that looks good. Should I shut the door so it stays? >> Oh, that's pretty good. >> Yeah, let's not open no more doors. >> Okay. Or that >> till you get there. Arkansas. >> Yeah, you got to crawl through the window now. >> Okay, >> I got to leave you here, buddy. [laughter] I'm just kidding. >> If we were more in our prime, we could just >> Yeah, my sciatic nerve can't handle that dog. You get the heaviest >> car met curb >> and car got stuck on curb. >> I've been sitting in the car. >> Now the I think the towing folks may be there but >> there's some logistical concerns. >> She's barely on there now. >> What I'd like to do get in there. white flag. >> Can you get out with my foot on that brake? >> Don't take it off. >> There's a key in here. >> It's running, right? >> You want to wear? >> No, I don't want to wear your little >> Put that over your shoulder like she had it. Okay. >> Oh god. >> He didn't want to mess with it while ago cuz he don't have good insurance and now he wants to drive. I think the tires. You don't think that looks flat at all, right? >> Just took 300 lb off of it, too. >> No, it's just turn it. You know what? I thought I popped the tire when I jumped the curb and I was like, "Well, that would suck. We got to get that." >> Oops. >> Yeah, it's not my color. Can we go up any more without getting in the bumper? >> It's okay. I don't lie. I'm not going to lie to you. But I I think he now suspects that the driver and the passenger may have switched seats >> to me cuz he talking too much. When you talk too much, you you lying and I could tell the way you were looking at you like, "Oh, >> okay." >> So why are we driving so fast trying to get her to get there? >> We was Yeah, we were just trying to get there. >> Well, that ain't a big deal. >> Not funny. >> I know, but that ain't a big deal. I mean, we ain't got to jump seats and everything else. And if you got ain't got a driver lot, you get a ticket and go on. Ain't no sense in getting you in trouble and him in trouble and everything like that. >> I smell weed in the car. Is there weed in the car? Not at all. >> All right. He was he >> No, it's early. >> Have you been I don't smell it. And the reason I got you out is cuz I want to talk to you and see if I smell alcohol on you. Okay. I don't smell any alcohol on you.
