280 foot pursuit. Pet boys, >> sit down. Sit down now. Sit down. Sit down now. >> I don't want you to get bit. >> We're on our way to an assault. Sounds like there's a group fighting in a park over here. So, we'll go see if we can figure out what's going on. We got injuries and people bleeding. So, So, it sounds like this group here was in their RV parked out there. Six, seven other people. Um, >> he had like something a room. >> He was trying to break the front windshield with it. He was trying to break every window. >> I'm not fighting you guys. >> I know you're not, >> guys. I got my ass beat. Are you kidding me right now? I got jumped by her, please. >> Yay. Go over here. >> That's my boyfriend. I didn't want you on my shirt. This is every story, right? >> Do I need smoke fentanyl to get a free pass? >> Don't do that. Don't do that. >> Really? >> Yep. >> Record this, buddy. We have harassment anti anti What is that? Anti-stalking orders against a lady in this place. truthfully >> sitting there smoking fentanyl right on the curb. >> Who was smoking fentanyl? >> The other the people in the motor home. >> Oh, in the RV. Okay. Correct. >> Okay. >> So, he evidently exchanged words with them about smoking fentanyl and that we walk our dogs here and that our kids are out here with us out there. >> Sure. >> So, like I said, that's when I dialed 911. All I'm trying to do is take my dogs out and there's a guy smoking fentanyl. I told him to move and I got hit with a broom. >> Okay. >> I got hit with a broom. >> Do you need medical attention? >> I tried to jump in cuz like I said, there was three of them hitting him at that point and the guy swung a pot at me and then took off on a bike. >> What? Like a cooking >> a cooking pot. Came out of the motor home door. Okay. >> With a cooking pot. >> Okay. >> A little bit of blood on there. >> This is what happens when you follow the log. And I'm going to jail now cuz I got hit with a broom. But meth meth fentanyl addict and sleep in the park. I got hit with a broom by a crackhead. Are you kidding me? >> It's a he said, she said sort of a thing, right? So that's why we ask you questions on what happened. Somebody's asking them what questions on what happened, right? And we have to try to sift through everything that everyone's telling us, right? Put the pieces together and determine has a crime been committed? If so, right? Who the primary aggressor is, that sort of thing. Okay. So they're they're in the same same situation that you're in. Okay. So this isn't unique to you. >> So essentially it sounds like uh kind of a mutual combat situation where they all started a fight together. Uh I think the primary victim in this case is the one who doesn't want to press charges. Now that we've had a chance to speak to some more independent witnesses. I just it's not entirely clear who started the fight and who the real victim is. And everyone has different stories. I think we're going to roll with it. >> Yep. Yep. Our victim doesn't want to be a victim and we don't have enough to take him to jail. So, he gets to go home. We're heading to a collision right now just down the street. Uh, two vehicles looks like um possible entrapment in one of the cars. Hope one's on scene. >> He's all right. Conscious. >> Hello. >> Hi. I'm Sergeant Edmonds with the Ever Police Department. Uh we're going to be audio bit my body cam. Are you okay? >> I'm fine. >> Okay, great. Um so find my glasses. >> And you're the only one in there? >> Yeah. Yeah. So, we'll just keep you in there until the fire department gets here. It probably be easier for them to get you out of this mess. Okay. >> So, um I'm going to ask you guys to just step away a little bit just in case this thing comes this way. >> Yep. Probably nobody in it. Nobody hurt. >> Say that again. >> Probably don't have a car left. >> Well, we'll we'll we'll take a look here. >> Other ve was parked. Nobody in it. Nobody hurt. >> Hi. Who's in this car? >> My car. >> It was parked. We live here. >> It was parked. >> Okay, great. >> Into another parked car that lives here. >> OP1 information. They're like, "What?" >> It'll be a rollover. >> So, can you tell me what happened? >> No, I just >> I didn't know I hit anything. >> Okay. Which direction were you going? >> So, you're going northbound here on Colby? >> Yeah, I was going home. >> And uh what did you hit? >> I don't know what I hit. >> Okay. >> Probably a parked car. >> Okay. Were you wearing your seatelt? >> Yeah. Great. Okay. So, like I said, we're just going to have you hang tight here until the fire >> You don't go anywhere without my seat belt. >> Oh, that's that's a good practice. It's a good practice. So, like I said, we'll just wait for the fire department get here. They'll probably just cut this window out and get you coming out this direction. All right. >> I don't know why I can't get out this. >> Oh, well, you can. I just I didn't know if you were able to. >> Yeah, I could. >> Okay. >> Don't throw up. I can do that. >> Okay. Well, we'll help. I'll help. >> Oh, my mirror. Everything's bore up. >> Okay. So, stay. Hey, careful. Careful. Careful. >> Yeah, I'm careful. >> Okay. >> Let get your armpit here. You hold my arm here. Hold my arm right there. Yep. Come on down. >> Okay. There you go. Let's go over here to the sidewalk. Right over there. Okay. Right over here. I moved my side block. >> So, right now we had a collision here involving uh this gentleman parked ran into one of the parked cars and his car unfortunately rolled over. Um and the traffic officer here is doing some uh standardized field sobriety test on him to check for his sobriety. >> Keep blowing. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Perfect. No alcohol. >> Yeah, I haven't been drinking. Maybe I didn't break my glasses. >> Yeah, they're here. >> Got them. >> They're not broke, though. >> Woohoo. Small favors. >> Yes. So, the two vehicles that were damaged here uh were both parked uh interestingly enough, these folks have just recently moved into this home. Uh and uh their cars actually been hit in this exact same location before. So, pretty unfortunate for them. He really need his glasses and it was pretty interesting that he was more concerned about his glasses than his nice beautiful car here being destroyed. But, he got his glasses back and uh he's on his way. We go live to Ever Washington uh with Officer Danny Rebellos. >> You don't want to talk to the police. Sir, hold up. Sir, sir. Police department that says don't walk. Sit down. SIT DOWN NOW. SIT DOWN. SIT DOWN NOW. >> SORRY. SORRY. I'm sorry. >> Sit down now. >> Sorry. >> OP1 or OP2. I'm out with one if take your hand out of your pocket. Take your hand out of your pocket. >> I'm sorry. >> I'm out with one at 50th in Evergreen. If I can have a second. >> Sorry. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Put your hands behind your back, dude. >> I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Okay. Sorry. >> He's throwing [ __ ] on me, dude. >> I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. I'm sorry. >> Stop moving. >> Okay, >> stop moving. >> I'm sorry, officer. >> Sorry. I apologize. Okay. I apologize. >> Okay. You're under arrest right now. All right. >> Okay. Yeah. >> What' you throw, brother? >> I didn't throw anything. I'm sorry. >> Dude, I ain't Dude, I'VE BEEN DOING THIS JOB 26 years. I ain't stupid, brother. >> Hold up. >> Okay. All right. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> I apologize. I'm sorry, man. >> OP2, I have one detained. >> You can open there, but I still like cover, please. I'm sorry. I apologize. I'm not trying to ask you guys. I'm sorry, man. >> All right, dude. So, listen. What's your name? >> My name is Monty. >> What is it? >> It's Monty M. >> Monty? What? >> What's up, Monty? It's Danny Rebello. We haven't seen each other in a ton of years, man. >> Dude, we're too old to be doing this [ __ ] bro. >> All right, Monty, let me read you your rights real quick. All right. >> Okay. >> You have the right to remain silent. >> Anything you say can be used against you in a court of law. You have the right at this time to talk to your lawyer and have them present with you while while you're being questioned. If you can't afford to hire a lawyer, um, if you can't afford to hire a lawyer, one will be appointed to you, represent you before any question if you wish. You can decide to exercise these rights. You can decide at any time to exercise these rights and not answer any questions or make any statements. Do you understand those? >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Monty, man, how you been, dude? >> I've been better. >> We ain't probably seen each other in like 10 years, maybe 15 even. All right. All right. So, be straight with me cuz you know I've always been cool to you, man. >> So, what'd you throw? >> Uh, a little bit of dope. >> Yeah. I didn't Yeah. >> Okay. Why? [laughter] You know, you you're at a high drug area. I see you and you bounce up and try to take off and then you jaywalk and then I'm trying to talk to you and you throw it on me, man. What' you throw? >> Huh? >> What' you throw? >> I just I just a little fetty. >> A little fetty. That's it. >> Yeah. You got any uh you got any warrants or anything right now? >> No, I'm very sad. >> No, I may as well ain't going to take you. I'm sorry. Sorry, man. That's cool. I apologize. >> Hey, will you watch him while I go grab the dope he threw on me? >> What's up, man? >> Monty Monty go way back. >> Little meth in it, too. >> So, right here is what he threw on me. Um, so when I went to contact him for the pedestrian violation of the drug lording, uh, because he's lording in this area, which is a high drug area, uh, he tries to take off with me. He walks across a do not cross thing. I tell him to stop so we can talk to him. He runs around the sign and throws his drugs here. So, uh, looks like we got some methamphetamine right here. Uh, this a bigger chunk of methamphetamine. And then these will be fentanyl pills. >> Okay. All right. Do you have any warrants or anything? >> Check with them. Make sure. >> So, Monty, is this all you threw, my man? >> And all these are yours, right? >> Yeah, that's it. Yeah. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Yep. >> Cool. >> Man, I thought you were >> All right. He's not denying it, but as we were talking about this, Tom Rizzo, we're saying that, you know, you guys sometimes on a beat, particularly when you grew up in or near an area, will occasionally bump into someone who you knew or you grew up with, and it's got to be a little bit at the least awkward, if not a little unsettling. >> Yeah. Because I mean, you see the two different paths, right? And you see people that go down those roads that, you know, you might have been one decision away from going down that same road. So, uh, unfortunately getting on the wrong side of the law, falling, you know, the victim to addiction, overdose, death, or prison. So, yeah. >> So, yeah. >> Well, it's good to see you, man. >> I hope that you can get yourself clean again, man. >> You want me to wipe you off? >> You know, no, no, I'm okay. My chest pills. >> My maternal family died. >> That's great. >> Oh, man. That's kind of weird. >> Did you uh >> That's going to be >> just >> That looks like a little new stuff. I mean, it's probably the the tran that's going around. It looks gray. >> Um they're starting to mix stuff up with like other stuff. They're cutting it with >> whatever other things we can find. People gotten people arrested have like had cocaine on them that they thought was fentanyl powder. >> Checked out, man. Um, >> so it could could be honestly anything. We won't really know until we test it, but it's definitely fentanyl pills and methamphetamine. >> It's going everywhere. Holy Christmas. >> Yeah. >> I mean, I guess I should get a second. >> I'll be contacting one 1900 block of Broadway for a soda violation. She hasn't seen me yet. So, I'm going to go ahead and make contact. >> So, there's certain parts of our city that if you've been convicted of a drug crime, you're not allowed to go to. Uh, so hers covers this exact area of Broadway. So, we're just going to go make contact and arrest her for that and, uh, see what she has to say about being here. Phyllis, ever. Please, you're under arrest. Put your stuff down. Put your stuff down. >> For what? >> Hands behind your back. >> For what? >> Your soda order. You know this. Don't. >> No. Wait. Wait. Don't. >> Honey, I'm not Listen. I'm pissing myself. >> Honey, I'm not resisting. I'm literally pissing myself. I'm trying to not get >> I don't have a soda order. Look up. Honey, I don't have a soda order. >> Stop moving. >> Judge, listen. Judge Leonard listed lifted it Friday. Please listen. >> Then you need to wait. You're still detained for it. >> Okay. >> 612. >> I literally just passed under the purple building. Uh, and I have her pushed up against the building. >> I'm not trying to hurt you. I'm not resisting. >> You're fine. >> It's my ordered flight. >> You need to wait and I will double check on that. Okay. >> Thank you. >> You're detained for this. But I swear to God, sweetheart, it's lifted. [music] >> It was lifted Friday. Judge Leonard, please call. All right. >> I'm just right here. I'm not doing anything. But it was lifted Friday. >> Relax. >> I swear to God, it was lifted Friday. >> Coming soon. >> It was lifted by Judge Remy Leonard. >> I swear to God. >> Just stop. You're being detained. >> Okay. Am I under arrest? I have not. >> You're being detained while I investigate. I have explained this to you. I'm out with you. >> Um, you can wait. >> Uh, she urinated on me. >> Are you serious? >> Yeah. >> So, the it's just go over to your car for a minute while I investigate this. >> No. Uh, frisk yet. >> Okay. just peanut. >> Soda order was confirmed. So, she's going to jail now for the soda violation and resisting now because I told her she was under arrest. She decided to tense her arms as uh was indicative of when I put her against the the window. You're terrible. So, she's going to go for those two charges. That's it. Not urinating in public. >> Officer Rebello is trying to conduct a traffic stop. Hope you too. Traffic >> West Marine and Alverson on Charles Henry Victor 61 95 >> West Marine. >> What do you got? >> Uh so he's speeding. It's 35 through here. Um he's got his light defective tail lights too it looks like a little bit here. Is he going to take off on us? >> Yeah, he's going to take off on us. LP2 um going to have the air. He's not stopping at this point. >> LP2, I'm pulling over and terminating. He's southbound on Alverson. High rate of speed, probably 50 60. Looks like he's going to try to turn on Wetmore and Colby. Shutting the lights down. >> Yeah, go ahead and open the air. Yeah. Affirmative PC for a Ludy. He fled for me for a little bit before I pulled over. White male driver um bluish green uh ball cap. Uh so we attempted to stop this car for speeding. Um [snorts] it's slick out. Uh as we came around the corner there, you could see him fishtailing and sliding. Uh, from my experience, I recognize that he was probably going to start fleeing from us. Um, we uh are not engaging him cuz all we have is speed with him right now. Uh, we don't want to risk or endanger our public. Um, so we're going to choose to terminate. Uh, and then hopefully some other units will pick him up in the area or if he dumped that car. We'll do some research and try to see if we can get more info on it. >> Help you. >> All right. We heard that he end up canceling the pursuit himself and four different agencies, four different pursuit policies. Captain Rizzo, when an officer comes on says they've got a car fleeing, what's the type of stuff you have to think about as a supervisor? >> Right away, just exactly what he took into account. What are the road conditions? What's the traffic like? What are you chasing for? And you know, we talk about this in terms of the risk of the apprehension or excuse me, the risk to public safety compared to the need to apprehend that person at that point. So, he's already got good registration. He thinks, you know, he's got just the speeding violation. So PC for the arrest later on. >> All right. I'm being told we're going to jump back out there right now. >> He crashed out there. >> Okay. So it sound like he may have crashed out up here. >> Uh I think I get around here that way already. >> OP1, I have a car. It's at Wetmore 5th. uh if we can set up containment and uh if possibly a dog's in the area or drone. All right. So, he did crash out here. >> Um >> yeah, OB2. I'm sorry. I'll I'll work on that tonight. negative. >> Again, >> he's going to be a white male. I didn't get a really good look at him cuz the windows are kind of fogged up. Uh, white male. He had a blue hat on. Probably looked late 20s, early 30s. OP2 center. Can you check with the calling party that said it was ditched here and see if they saw a direction of travel on him? >> Copy. >> And I'll take last four on Vin. >> 027. >> Copy. Go ahead and try to get a hold of Ro could be stolen here. >> They are advising they ran towards the golf course. White male baseball, dark hair, and a beard. A white t-shirt and cam. Copy. >> So, he's last seen going to the golf course there. >> Yeah. The car's still running. So, did you see him run that way? Where was he last seen? Where was he last seen? >> I I saw him here and then I grabbed went to grab my phone and call you guys. >> Okay. >> I thought I saw him that way. >> Okay. Thank you. And what was he wearing? >> White shirt like pants. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> P2. going to have a white t-shirt, tan pants, and he grabbed a black grabbed a backpack. Last seen going towards the golf course. >> So, what's happening right now is uh we got a K9 on route. So, we're going to start setting up containment and then um once the dog gets here, we'll go to try to track for him. >> OP2 to OP1, can you start setting up containment? Uh let's set up. They're setting up a perimeter after somebody bailed out of a car attempted traffic stop. Hi. Hey, Ever Police. There's a dude running through the golf course from us with a green hat. >> You want me to hit him with a golf club if I see him? >> Oh, it's up to you. >> All right. >> But at least tell me. >> Of course. Got you, man. >> Thank you. >> Green hat. You said >> green hat, backpack, white guy. All right, that's Sergeant Ross. He's cleared his traffic stop and he's now out there with Officer Rebelos working on finding this suspect. >> I guess you know which way he is or >> he was coming from Fifth and Wetmore heading east. >> Are you on right now? >> What's that? >> Are you on cops right now? >> Close. [laughter] Campus PD. >> Hopefully dog will get him by then. I think these golfers will pretty be pretty good eyes if that guy's coming this direction. I can honestly say I've never been back here before. Officer Rebellos is now on scene with a K9 officer and being told his dog's name is Oscar and A9 Hamler Rawlings. Uh so we'll see if they can help us out and get this guy located today. >> If he gets in there, he goes so far. >> I'm at the golf maintenance area just east of the Ranger. Never police dog guy that ran from the underestim dog is out. And we're eastbound towards Rockefeller. When I jump up to the main courthouse area north on Rockefeller. behind. Uh, well, I haven't had any report of that yet. All right, we're live in Everett, Washington, where officer Rebellos is out with a canine, and they're on a track looking for a suspect that fled out of a vehicle that took off in a traffic stop. >> What's amazing is how fast that canine took off as soon as he got that article clothing. Almost as if he picked up on a scent. So, you know that that dog is excited about something and obviously it looks like they're going to try to find it. >> Yeah. >> And Curtis, one of the good things about this is obviously it's a little bit wet outside. It's rain. There's probably not a lot of pedestrians to interfere with that track. >> Exactly. My thoughts is not a lot of traffic, which means wherever this guy ran, his sin is still going to be there, which is why, like uh Tilman said, this dog is on something. real quick. >> See the neighbor's dog looking over like what's going on >> over the fence. >> Going to jump back out there with Officer Rebello who's out with the K9 trying to track him down. And Sergeant Steve Ross is out also out on the perimeter. Okay, we track 416. Yes. He said he said this side. They're pointing this side. They said he came this side. >> He's out back. >> He's in the backyard of 416. He's running over the fence right now. Hey, DUDE. YOU'RE YOU'RE CAUGHT, MAN. >> Come on up, dude. >> Come up. >> I don't want you to get bit. >> We don't want you to get hurt. Come on up. >> He's right below us, I think. >> Come on, dude. You can kind of hear cracking. >> So, we're in backyard of 416. We can bring the drone up over us. All it is is blackberries and pretty steep. >> Can you control? Danny, >> I'm sending the dog. Dude, you're going to get >> Yeah, I believe I can see somebody's lights. It's almost straight up the hill here. Come on, man. It ain't worth it. You got some warrants or something? Just come on up. We don't want you getting hurt in the woods or the dog. Come here. Here. >> What's up? You okay? >> All right. Looks like they got this guy contained to this ravine. Oscar, >> here. Come here. Here. Hey drone, do you see us? He's right underneath us. We can't see him in the bushes. We have verbal contact with him. >> What do you want me to do to help you, Chris? >> Pull the lead up and I want you to pull off your >> We're right next to this maple tree. If you go back to the pool, back towards the left. Come on, Oscar. Come on, bud. >> Okay, I'm kind of stuck, too. Fall on top of both these guys. Yep. >> Um, get more guys back here so we can >> Yeah, I'm I got more coming. >> Okay. Hey, just hold tight here. Oscar, leave it. >> Where are you injured? >> No contact with his backpack. Uh, K9's stuck and so is he. We need more units down here. Maybe fire. >> Get fire up here so we can >> He's got injury to his legs. So, if we can get fire up here to help extract him, please. >> Uh, he's in the bushes. We're trying to get Chris and the dog up. We're going to hold tight here until we get fire. >> Okay. >> I'm going to do my best to get my dog out here so he doesn't bite you. >> That's why they keep dumping stuff. Chris already numb. I got you, man. >> Just make sure you don't do any stupid. I don't want you to get hurt anywhere you want. Okay. >> Okay. Is it going to be some sort of rescue be on an embankment? >> Yes. >> Yes. It's a rescue on an embankment. He's buried. Uh they will have to come to our address. This is OP2. Come to our address and then uh we'll have to lower a ladder or whatever they do. Rope. >> I got the rescue. >> I'm going to try to maneuver so I can get my dog. >> Yeah, you let me know. I got leash lead for you. >> All right. If I heard that correctly, they've got their suspect down there. He possibly has an injury to his legs. Looks like the K9 offic or the K9 is down there possibly stuck as well as an officer. They're going to call in some resources. I think I heard the fire department. >> No, he's not going anywhere. It's a huge ravine here. >> Come on. >> You want to bring Oscar? I got somebody holding my belt. We can get him up. Come on, Oscar. Come on, bud. Come on. Come on. Come on, bud. Come on. Come on, bud. Come on, bud. Good boy. Good boy. Good boy. Okay, going to throw you the lead to pull you up or whatever his command is. >> So, it [snorts] sounds like the dog may have made contact with them, too. Um, while we're trying to get them out, they're obviously in a rough situation down there. >> Yes, it is semi I'll be off that tire a little bit. >> Back up a little bit. >> Yeah, that's probably >> Come on. Come on. I know I'm not your handler, but don't bite me. >> Come here. No, no, no. You get to stay, bro. Good boy. Good boy. [snorts] Good boy, Oscar. Oscar. Oscar. Good boy. Good boy. Good boy. Good boy. Hey, you did good. Good boy. Come here. >> Come here. >> Uh, yeah. He's right under Chris. There. Come on, Oscar. You can't. Oscar, dude, you're a strong little sucker. Come on. There we go. You stay here with me. [snorts] >> Stay here with me. Daddy's fine. >> I didn't have my body camera on. Oops. [snorts] What? Now, uh, so we got fire and rescue coming. Uh we're going to have to do fire and rescue to extract him and then also probably get our officer up. As you can see, I had to pull the dog completely up. Um so they're both stuck down there pretty good and some blackberries. Once we get him up, then we'll find out why he's running like this. So, uh still it's a a mystery to why exactly he's even fleeing for us. And that's exactly why we don't chase somebody like that because we're going to risk somebody's life and property uh for an unknown reason. So, we'll find out what he's running for when he gets up here, though. Be nice. >> OB2. Go ahead, >> Curtis. >> Yes. >> I love dogs. You love dogs? >> I do. >> I'm scared of police dogs and I was a cop for 24 and a half years. Man, let you know him handling someone else's dog. What do you think about that? >> You know, it's the thing that these dogs are so loyal to their handlers. So, even us as law enforcement officers know not to mess with another K9 dogs, you know, because we could get bit. There's no question about it. Like I said, they are loyal to the uh to the handler. [snorts] >> Hey, leave the camera alone. >> I don't know his commands. I was a drug dog handler. [laughter] >> Leave it. >> Good boy. >> I know. You did good, Oscar. Wonder if uh wonder if Chris wants me to take him back. >> Can you stay with Chris? >> If you remember, officer Rebella's tried to stop a car. The suspect fled. They did not pursue, but they found out he bailed from Atlanta, ran. They've now got him down in this ravine. He's injured. We've got another officer down with them. And I'm being told fire department is getting close and is going to try to help bring them all up. >> See the marina this way and the nicer part of Everett. Right here. This way. >> I went down that way. >> We're this way. >> You want to go that way, man? >> Right here. >> I went the wrong way. >> That's okay. >> I was one yelling at you. >> Oh, sorry. I couldn't hear you. We're just trying to get the dog secured. >> Okay, >> Chris, call for still. >> What's that? >> I just want to make sure you're good. It's hard to hear up here. >> I'm good. >> J. >> Yeah. >> Awesome. >> No, we don't want that to go. >> An injured suspect is down in this ravine. The fire department is on scene. K9 officer Chris Rowling as well is down in there. >> Thanks, man. >> Hey, fire department. I'm coming down trying to get eyes on you here and see what's going on. Okay. >> Attention on this real quick. >> One of the warrants is also for carrying a pistol. >> Is Dylan? You're not armed, right? >> He said he wasn't. I asked him that. He's usually >> he's usually pretty honest with me. >> Imagine seeing this hill and thinking, "Yep, I got it." >> Well, I think he didn't I think he just slipped. I think he stepped on that. >> He said he just walked over and fell. Right. >> Dylan, if I hand you a rope, how far are you buried? >> Um, like you're standing on my leg. >> A little crowded. >> Oh, Chris, is he he like down this way? So he went forward and somehow rolled and all of them and he's got his legs stuck underneath him and >> all that [ __ ] just keeps crumbling down. >> That's not good. >> Oh, everybody's here. >> Okay. on the >> on the hillside. >> So when he fell, I guess he fell. So his head's down that way, feet here, and then the pile kind of fell on him a little bit. >> It's all yard debris. >> Pile right here. >> Okay. >> All right, guys. Obviously a pretty manpower intensive thing from the very beginning with the perimeter, all the officers, and now the fire department down on there. No question. >> It's one of those things, you know, this guy may have gotten to this vehicle, ran, gets captured, but you still have to, of course, take care of him first aid, render that aid to get him out of there, and then of course those charges after that. >> Yeah. And try to reduce more injury to him, right? We don't want to cause more injury as exhausting all these resources for that purpose, too. >> Or a dog or an officer getting injured going down in there as well, getting correct. Looks like they're pulling that suspect up out of their vein now. >> I don't want him to go sliding back down. Okay. >> Okay. Ready? One, two, three. >> Okay. >> I got this. I got your hand. >> Okay. Do you want to grab that? >> Just get get him up. Get him up first. >> Let me pat him down real quick for you. >> Yeah. >> Hey, Dylan. It's Dave. I'm pat you down, brother. >> Let me take your backpack off. >> Take that. >> Dylan, man, we shouldn't be seeing each other like this, brother. Yeah. >> Can we have somebody to uh >> grab the first calling party that saw him jump out of the car and come ID him? >> Get him away from the edge. >> Hey, Dylan. We're going to move you up a little bit more so we don't fall you back down. Okay, buddy. >> Yeah. I just want to >> Somebody's got to check out his leg. Joey, can you crawl a little bit for us so we can get you off this so that we don't go and you don't go? >> Want us to pull you? >> Yeah. >> All right. Here. Grab my hand, buddy. >> So, grab his hand. >> Okay. Ready? I'm going to pull you. >> That way you're not falling down there again. All right. All right. Hang tight. >> Don't kick me or them. Okay. >> Is this worth it, my man? >> Which one? >> Which one? Your right leg. >> Hey. Hey, listen. You okay? >> We'll get you taken care of. Okay. >> We got scissors. >> Get him on the backboard on the stretcher. Then we can cut his clothes. >> Let me pat his back before you lay him on it before you get in there. >> Jo, I'm going to pat your back. I know it's going to be uncomfortable, but I'm going to pat your back. >> All right. Switch it. >> But it was wound in there properly. So, >> but guys, gave it a quick when I got him up there onto my hip. I gave him a quick pat down. Didn't feel any crazy, but drop off. >> She She's right in that corner house. >> Tell her Tell Keller she's right in that house right next to him. The corner house. >> All right. It it took a while, but looks like they've got their suspect in custody now. >> And you said it just collapsed on went to do a traffic stop on a car. Uh he fled from us at a high rate of speed. He went into some oncoming traffic and lost control as he went around a corner. Uh then went over into traffic again. At that point, we decided to terminate and not pursue him because we didn't know exactly why he was running and we didn't want to endanger our public. He then went a few blocks uh bailed from the car. Uh we had several witnesses calling in for him. Uh we had K canine track him and then ultimately leads to the success of taking him into custody and so now we're going to refer him on his eluding charge. He has a history of autotheft. Uh so far we can't figure out if the car is stolen or not, but he does have that history of uh vehicle crimes with us. >> Production getting him out of there. >> What's that? >> Production getting him out of there. >> Oh yeah. Yeah. So yeah, >> a phenomenal job on that track. All right, we do have to get to some updates from last night's show. Let's begin in Everett, Washington, where officer Danny Rebello was involved in a pursuit with this vehicle. Now, that driver eventually crashed into some shrubbery. When police arrived, the vehicle was empty, and the driver was actually nowhere to be seen. They first looked for the suspect at a nearby golf course and then returned to the vehicle where K9 Oscar took over the search. After picking up the suspect scent, the K9 tracked him to this ravine and there he was. Now, Oscar bit the suspect apprehended him and then things got a bit complicated. Not only was the suspect stuck in the ravine, but so was Oscar. >> Eventually, the canine was able to free himself, but as for the suspect, they had to call in Everett Fire Department, who used this ladder to help bring him out. He was then placed under arrest and charged with felony eluding. The vehicle that he was driving was thought to be thought to be stolen, but detectives are still actually trying to figure out who owns it. Apparently, this car has changed hands a number of times. >> So, we saw this gentleman riding his motorcycle uh down Ever Mall way here. He's riding no riding with no helmets. Oh, there he is. 280 traffic. 280 foot pursuit. Pep boys, get on the ground right now. Get on the ground. Get on the ground. Get on the ground. You're not free to leave. Sit [laughter] up. >> 1472 is where your service. >> Thank you. You're currently under arrest. >> Sorry, I don't speak English. >> You don't speak English? Okay. What language? >> Ukraine. >> Ukraine. We're going to investigate the motorcycle, see if it's clear. He says he speaks uh Ukraine, so we have to get an interpreter on there to to see what he's got to say. We're working on that. >> So, [snorts] registered to him. >> VIN matches. >> VIN matches. He's got the key to it. >> That's silly for him to run. >> Okay. Can you ask him why he made the decision to run away? Uh, can I be asked one question? >> Yeah. Yeah. What's his question? >> Uh, what would have happened if I stopped with no helmet? >> Uh, it would have been like a ticket. I think it's only like 138 bucks. >> That's it. Nothing. Nothing else. That's why I'm like like there's no reason to run. Like it's it maybe like a $100 ticket. >> Uh appears he has just recently moved here from uh the Ukraine and does not have a motorcycle endorsement. Um no insurance on the motorcycle, but that's beside the point. Um no helmet on the motorcycle and then he ran from us. So issued him criminal citations for those. Still have to appear for court in a couple weeks for that.
