Cuz it looks like Officer Carlin's on the move there. Are you tracking? Are you going to track? Okay. So Officer is short. Dude bailed out. Uh we're going to have the dog and we're going to try to track and locate him. All right, don't mess Pooper. The dog is coming. Don't mess the track. >> What's up? >> The dog is coming. Don't mess the track. Officer Roger Carlin in Daytona Beach. He just laid it out. Did you see a guy run? Did you see anybody run? >> Officer Tim Jackson also there trying to find this person who just fled on foot. >> Where'd you last him at? Right here? Okay. >> So he came through this or actually right here. Came this, ran along right here, and then okay. But I thought the dog was biting him, so I'm like >> It sounded like >> Okay, dogs are okay. Yeah, I'm getting >> It sounded like it was, but I guess not. >> Yeah, so it is what it is. >> So Yeah, I don't know. Um We're going to try to get to the last location of where an officer seen him, and then the dog will be on a track there. >> The person had fled first in a vehicle, then on foot, bailed. That's officer Carlin. >> I just don't want to charge you with aiding and abetting. >> We're going to stay on the perimeter. Uh we actually got Volusia County to come out and assist with Air One. So, he'll be able to come out here and use the resources from above and hopefully take this person into custody. >> Shoes in the car? >> Yeah, passenger. >> What's his name? >> His name is Victor >> Where's he live? >> Yep. I'm Show me a picture, please. Oh, we're playing games. I'm not playing games. I'm showing you the picture. >> Why is he running? >> Yeah, does he have a warrant or something? I'm not sure. I don't know all these questions. If I did, I would give you the answers. Like I said, we haven't been together that long. At the end of the day, this is all I know of him. I cannot provide any other information. >> his gold teeth? He stole his gold teeth? >> No, that's false. Anyone reading tags? May I have my phone, please? She already took a picture. >> Okay, just just give me 1 second. >> I'm just >> You're part of a crime that just happened, okay? So, what Okay, I got you. Okay, so you should probably So, then you should probably pick better people to hang around and don't put you in this position with your kids, right? So, we got a job to do, so you're not free to go because you're still part of it. So, she was the passenger in that vehicle. So, they're trying to get as much information from her as possible. They're searching for that person who fled from them and then fled on foot. >> I want to get in this yard. I want to get in this yard. Hey there, sir. Can you go back inside your house? We have a police dog out. >> What? >> We have a police dog out. Can you go back inside? >> What? >> We have a police dog out. Go back inside your house, please. Trying to try to find the best way into this property here. >> What about we have a police dog out? Do you not understand? But I'm chilling. >> Yeah. You know, >> And as we've seen, unintentional bites do happen. And then also, yeah, you might want to go stay clear. >> Yeah. Yeah, exactly. >> So, I was trying to I attempted a traffic stop because he was going through lanes erratically and I was going to test the tint. There was multiple reasons. He committed a lot of traffic infractions. We came up to the stop bar at Center and Mason and he was completely past the stop bar. So, at that time I initiated and before that actually, when I got up behind him, he instantly started changing lanes again. So, already his behavior was just very erratic. It was I guess you could say suspicious. So, I activated my emergency lights and made no attempt to stop. Completely blew red lights. Um, went over the bridge. It was a I would say a few miles that he just kept going, wouldn't stop. And then we came up to Oleander and he just bailed out and ran. Um, K9 attempted to go after him, but um, right now we got a perimeter set up and hopefully we're going to be able to narrow him down to a location and detain him. So. >> All right, so here is a little context on that. That is Officer Ashlyn Cooper talking about the fleeing vehicle. They are now trying to find the person who has fled on foot. And it turns out our producer, uh Alex Bracero, who was riding uh with Officer Cooper as this was happening, took video. This is it. This is the video that he took when she was the lead in this. >> I'm making another eastbound turn on the parkway. >> Yeah, I don't think he's seen it. He's going like 20 mph. Can't make out more stickers on this car. Cooper, keeping my eye on the K9 behind you. Looks like he went southbound on the parkway again. Actually, let me know if you're on this. >> Eastbound turn on the world. Nope, we're still going to be going south. Oh, looks like it's about to be a bailout. >> All right, so that's a pretty good view of exactly what happened there and who the person was. And we also know that they spoke to the passenger. >> Yep. >> Right? To get a full identification of who this person was. >> Yeah, and kudos to them. They're still on a high. They just had a chase with a foot pursuit. So, it's like there's no time to even come back down to a normal cortisol level. They're still high. But, they're going to use that passenger as the key piece of evidence. There's just no way that they're going to believe that there's no, you know, means of identification. How do you contact this guy? Something like that. >> And they And they I think they suspect that maybe he went back to the passenger's house. They're trying to figure out exactly, you know, where he went. So, let's go back live to Daytona Beach. >> And because you've already lied to us. >> We're not going to argue about this. I'm going to put you in handcuffs and not talk to you. I understand that. But, where is he? Who does he know in the area? But, the suspect told me you already lied a bunch of times. I beg that to happen. We're not going to have a discussion. I don't care about excuses. 0%. >> It's not excuses. It's what I'm telling you. I cannot remember certain things. >> I don't remember certain things. Or is anybody else supposed to be in the house? She had a child. Is there a child in there? >> My baby is not >> Nobody else is supposed to be in your house. >> Am I able to go in my house? >> Nope. You're going to stay right here with me. >> Why not? What do you mean there's no warrant? We're making sure that he's not in there. So, if something if my property is damaged in any shape or form >> No No one's going to damage your property. >> Yeah, but I can't trust that word. Just like he can't trust my word, I can't trust that >> All right, so let's have it. >> could already be Let me explain something to you. I'm being so nice, but you don't understand like I'm I'm already like pissed. You could be going to jail. I could be in handcuffs right now. Okay? Stop playing games. Like you're playing stupid cuz you are. >> That's the thing. I'm telling you what I know. >> Okay. >> There's no reason to lie. >> Okay, great. Then that's fine. Look, you can see. Oh, exactly. >> Check the house. Check it. >> Victor, we have a police dog. Come out with your hands up. Do it now. >> Your hands. >> Victor, we have a police dog. Come outside with your hands up. Do it now or I cannot guarantee your safety. >> You can go ahead. You're on your own. >> Victor, we have a police dog. Come out with your hands up. Do it now. >> Much is clear. >> Wait, wait. Where did you say you worked? >> He doesn't have a vehicle because he does little odd jobs. >> K9 you're on the ground. >> It's not a where it's whoever >> Yard directly out your left side. K9 we haven't checked yet. He has a big uh like a camper van back there. K9 affirm it's clear. Stepped on. It's your rubber trouble getting into without cutting the lock. So, we cleared the apartment. He wasn't in there. >> All right, and so the search there continues and we'll be monitoring uh that until they find him. >> All right, 12 It sucks being 6'4 in these tiny little spots. All right, you can see there they got a chopper in the sky. They've got a lot of folks on the ground including a canine. They are continuing the search for the guy who fled. They've been talking to the passenger. They searched the passenger's home. They're convinced he's right in this area. That's canine Judge. Cuz it looks like officer Carlin's on the move there. Maybe they found the person they're looking for. >> That way? >> K9 coming up here. >> Air 1. >> You see anything? >> They're aware of the flight pattern. >> That's 250 Yeah, 233. >> It is. Yeah, you're right by that uh like one last street you'll be going right. Yeah, it's the I certainly expect to see him there. >> All right, so it looks like Air 1 actually spotted him. He's on the roof. So we're going to 26 Huh? >> Say the address one more time. 233 Oleander Ave. Wild Olive Wild Olive, we're looking at the building. If you want to back towards that car >> Okay. >> you can be right in the path here. >> Back towards the car? I don't know. Wild Olive >> want to hold back right here? >> Wild Olive is right there. >> All right, I'm being told that their chopper there spotted the suspect on a roof. That's why they're all looking up. >> Yep. Hey, you got him? >> Got him. You get the dog ready. >> Hey, get the dog starting point. You You don't Hey, we'll start the point. >> Yeah, I need you to walk your ass off the roof now. Yeah, you don't go down you're going to go to jail. >> Right here. >> If you do anything stupid >> Hey, down here. >> you're going to get dog bit. >> Hey, get down. Get down. Okay, get down. >> How do I get down? How do you want me to get down? >> I'll help you get down. >> Get your ass down. Okay, you want me to go to where I came from? >> No. Where's that at? >> Okay, well I'm at the front. >> This isn't the front. Over here. This side. This side. >> You got to know which is the front of the back of the house. >> the front, Joey. >> This is the backyard. This is the back patio. >> This is the front of the patio. >> All right, the front of the patio? The patio isn't in the back. >> You're an idiot. Get down. >> Come on, man. Just cuz I know where I'm at. >> No, you have no idea where you are. >> Oh, man. >> Dog's right there, so you run, he's coming. >> I You see my hands, right? >> Get down. >> I'm going down. I'm I'm not trying to use my hands, so I'm going to back up. >> Use your hands. Let's go. Get down. On your face. Hey, can you turn off the light? Hey, can you turn off the light? >> All right, buddy. >> Well, that was a nice try. >> You were good for a minute, man. I'll give you that. >> Uh good effort, man. >> You're seasoned. But, tonight Oh, let's hit that. That was sucked. Kathy, you are all greatly appreciated. Thank you. So, luckily, uh somehow he got on the roof pretty quick. Everyone was able to spot him with their uh the camera system. He was behind for a minute. Everyone flew over for a second, but eventually we'll get him. Between Ken and VCAT, they're not going to get away. >> You lose, right? >> They said there was a dog running behind you. So, >> No. >> Uh actually, 12 >> In Daytona Beach, this is the guy who fled first in his vehicle, then on foot, and they spotted him with the help of a chopper in the air on the roof of a house. >> I drove in her car like, man, I ain't stopping, man. I already know I was going to >> Go ahead and take a seat. You can kind of slide in like a couch. >> Here's the rest of it. >> We'll count up all your money before we go. Make sure there's no discrepancies. Then we'll get to uh get on with it. You live in Daytona? Yeah. You live on the west side or on the beach side? You live on the beach side? Let's count 40, 60, 80, 120, 40, 60, 80, 220, 40, 60, 80, 320. 30. 330, 35. 330, 35. Sound good? All right. Give me a few minutes. All right. So, he admitted he wasn't going to stop when we tried pulling him over, so that's good. So, now he's going to get fleeing and eluding, resisting arrest. And uh if they find a thousand in the car plus other traffic violations we did for the original stop. So, he'll be getting some good time in jail, hopefully. Yeah, the same. Detective uh Smith just stopped this car here. Um they're kind of doing some shady behavior, driving in circles. So, we're going to get out, see what's going on with them. Any weapons on you? >> No, sir. >> Please step out for me. Just >> You want to sit in the back seat, bro? I can sit back there. >> Who is he to you? >> He's my ex. >> He's your ex? Why is he sitting in the back seat? >> Cuz I give rides. >> Oh, would you? You got anything else on you? Car, cocaine. >> It's just Molly, man. I'm Molly. This is >> I got to go to I'm going to jail? >> If Molly, yeah. >> If it's Molly, I ain't >> Yeah, for sure. >> Hey, babe. Hey, baby. >> Yeah. >> Right there, money. Between his legs. >> I'm going in. >> Oh, definitely fentanyl. That popped hard. Trafficking amounts of fentanyl. 7.7 g. 4 g of fentanyl in the state of Florida is trafficking amount. So, he's looking pretty decent time right now. The fact that it's that color, so bright, that's potent fentanyl, dude. I don't know where you buying your [ __ ] from, but you buying fentanyl. He's going to go to jail for trafficking amounts of fentanyl that he had in between his legs. This piss is still warm. He just pissed in it. >> Not me. He might have. >> Hey, Carl. >> Why Why would I let somebody piss inside of your car inside of a bottle? >> I didn't know. >> Yeah. Why would somebody piss inside of a bottle inside of a car? What are they doing they have to piss in a bottle they can't get out and piss? >> I don't know. I didn't know it was in there. >> It's warm to the touch. Very warm. Just happened. Were you driving him around and then people get in the backseat and he serves them up? Sure as hell looks like that. Somebody been pissing inside of a bottle while inside of her car. I don't know why somebody have the need to piss inside of a bottle when he could just easily get out of the car and, you know, use the restroom. So, I don't know what's going on here, but there's some illegal activities going on in the back of this car. He's going to be going to jail for trafficking in fentanyl. His bond will be extremely high and he's going to have to deal with that. Sounds like uh Sergeant Chrismar is behind the vehicle that's coming back as a stolen trailer? Gooseneck trailer? I don't know what a gooseneck trailer is, but tag's coming back stolen, so we're going to try and get up to him. See if we can get up into this felony stop and get involved a little bit. >> Watch your hands. Slowly step out. KEEP YOUR HANDS UP. >> TOLD HIM HE'S NOT REALLY far away. When we make the approach, we're only going to approach driver's side, okay? That way we got good background with these wooded things. You hold that. >> Hey Simon, one side. >> Is there people on the other side or not? Okay. Clear. Uh I don't uh >> I didn't like that either, Paul. >> You want You want back? I'll take front. Here, I got a whole strip for for a second. Just give me a Cover me. This is the weirdest freaking felony stop I've ever been on. I'm clear front. Clear. We did >> Shouldn't have done that first. >> Well, you had us covered, right? If there was like flashes and loud noises, you'd have done what you had to do. >> Oh look, the VIN's scratched out. >> Suspicious. That's a clue. Whoever it was tried to peel the registration sticker from Georgia off of this jet ski. >> Anyone notice these guns here? >> Well, there's no one with them. They're just guns. >> Was that you? >> No, it was the truck. I don't know what the hell that noise was. As it turns out making noises, it must be a a transformer. Just got to find out if it's a Decepticon or not. So, we're running all the VIN numbers, serial numbers, and everything we can find because it's a weird accoutrement of items to have on a giant stolen trailer. [clears throat] And uh make fun of my verbiage. Just ran the number on the back of this beautiful Honda watercraft and it came back on a trailer out of Florida. So, I now have a jet ski with registration plate for a trailer on top of a trailer that has no VIN number on top of a trailer with an altered VIN number with a tag that we can discover is stolen. Couple guns in the car. So, at this point, we're leaning toward possibly a turnover to the state attorney's office. You're still detained. We're going to let the road sergeants in this district figure it out whether or not they're going to make a physical arrest or turn over to state attorney's office. So, I'm going to get out. So, I'm very confused. >> There's a report of an assault >> Do you need help? >> at Lollipops Gentlemen's Club. >> She just assaulted me and I have a mark all over my back with a red with a hand print. I need to press charges. She just came and assaulted me. >> Well, what happened? >> I don't know her name. She just got up out of her bar stool and walked over and put her hands on me. >> Okay. >> Why? I don't know. I just because like she tried to take a customer from me and that didn't give her a right to put her hands on me. She just swung at me twice in front of like three customers at the bar and they said, "Whoa." And my boss fired me over it. A Cuban girl. I don't know. I don't know her name. She's over there at Lollipops inside with the dark hair. I can show you who she is. She walked out of her seat and came and put her hands on me. >> Is she going to tell us something different? >> No. There's three witnesses all at the bar. >> [music] >> Um she Okay, I was sitting with the customer and he said he was going to go to the bathroom and she started flirting with him and I walked over to her and I said, "He was sitting with me like that." And I walked away from them. I went and sat next to three people a couple at the bar a lady. She got out of her seat walked over and assaulted me. >> Okay. Do you know any of her name or >> I don't know her name at all. I don't know her stage name. >> Okay. Do you have your ID on you? >> Yes. >> You want to file a standing fresh charge? >> Yes. I'm talking to the police right now pressing charges. That's just how the law is. >> Hey man, how you doing? >> Someone that works at one of our local gentlemen's clubs. >> How you doing? >> Was struck by another girl that works at the gentlemen's club precipitated by a disagreement pertaining to a gentleman that was a patron. I guess one of them felt entitled and the other one didn't feel entitled to the patron. She said she beat her up and she wants to press charges so we'll see if we can find the other half inside the gentlemen's club and get their part and we'll go from there. Still not sure what the fight was about. >> Yeah, I have pictures on my phone. She has a whole handful. She came swinging at me out of her seat. >> And it's something about she was upset with the gentleman you were sitting with? >> I was sitting with a gentleman and he said he was going to go to the bathroom and she started flirting with him to try to take him from me and I walked over to her and I simply just said, "I was just sitting with him." And she was like, "Oh, well, he's my friend, too." So, I walked away from them, sat down, mind my business, she got out of her seat, and put her hands on me. >> She was a dancer? >> A dancer. She just >> no, the gentleman in question. >> yes. >> Was he an employer or a customer? >> No, it was a customer. Why does he have that camera on my face? >> Yep. >> I don't need to be recorded. >> I got you. >> I don't know her name, though. >> This statement's going to be for you. You can put that you're the victim. Just state in here exactly what happened to the best of your ability. What was she wearing last night? >> She's wearing like a one-piece outfit. Kind of white and another color on it. She's got dark, dark hair. >> White, black, Hispanic, Asian? >> She's Hispanic. She's Cuban. >> [sighs] >> So, we're trying to get as much information as possible. She does have red marks on her shoulder uh that support exactly what she said happened. Uh we're trying to get the person identified, and I mean, right now we have charges, at least battery, and Lieutenant Mar is going to go in there, try to make contact with her, find out more information, and we're going to go from there, but it's likely the other person's going to be going to jail. The fifth. Yes, ma'am. >> And if I was mean, she puts her hands on me. That's crazy. >> Three Victor 100, Central Florida, by number when you can, please. Give me a second, just hang out here, okay? >> In Daytona Beach at Lollipops, a gentlemen's club, where one employee there accused another of attacking her. Lieutenant Richie Mar has been in there trying to identify who the person is who allegedly attacked her. >> potential witness, a dancer by the name of Daytona. I spoke with uh Daytona. >> Yep. >> Daytona didn't see anything. Okay. According to Daytona. She said, we said, "Did you see anything happen?" She's like, "Nope." Walk away from The other girl is apparently in VIP right now, taking care of a customer, possibly the customer they were arguing over. And we're running back videos as best we can, but lo and behold, that one particular area, there's only cursory images of it. >> Of course, she's got a pretty obvious handprint on her back and a couple scratches, red mark, uh, which, I mean, obviously supports her statement about being hit, especially with the positioning of the handprint on her back. She didn't hit herself. She does want to press charges. She said she can ID, so we'll wait for her to be done with her VIP session. Do a show up and she'll likely >> Unless she's saying mutual and then >> Yeah. >> Her witness just fell out. >> Her witness said, "Nope, saw nothing." >> Great. So, uh, little bit of an update. Uh, Lieutenant Barr went in there and made contact with her supposed witness, the only witness of this incident, who just claimed didn't see anything happen, so that kind of falls through. The suspect in this is, uh, in the middle of a VIP session, whatever that entails, but uh, he's still making contact with the victim, clarify her story, let her know, "Hey, your witness isn't a witness." And, uh, we're going to wait for her to get done with her VIP session and bring her out here, ask her what the hell is going on and figure it out from there, but for right now, we have charges, but this could turn out to be a mutual combatants and that'll be it, so we'll see. >> All right, I was going to ask Tom Rizzo to explain to us what happens in a VIP session, but >> [laughter] >> This is the gentlemen's club, where one of the entertainers there accused another of attacking her. This is a possible witness. >> She was the one who got hit? >> Yeah. >> Okay, did you see them fight beforehand? Was it unprovoked? >> there was nothing going on beforehand. >> Okay, so she just got hit. >> Yeah. >> All right. >> I don't I don't know what the circumstances was before. >> All right, I appreciate the information. >> Yeah, no problem. >> Yeah. 100%. That's uh interesting. >> Okay, I'm just curious. Is it like cops? >> It's not like cops, it's better. >> Okay, what is it? >> It's uh called On Patrol Live. They follow us around, this is all live. There you go, yeah. You see it on YouTube. >> What are you doing? It's on YouTube right now. >> Maybe. Maybe, I can't tell you. >> Okay, we were both very nice, just FYI. >> All righty. Thank you. >> The one girl felt really bad, the one who had she was crying, she apologized to me, FYI. >> Okay. >> She said she was very sorry, like >> And that was that was the one who got hit, right? >> No, the one that actually hit the girl came and apologized to me. >> Afterwards? >> Afterwards. >> How do you commit a crime and then apologize? >> Yeah, yeah. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> I appreciate the info, thank you. >> No problem, good luck tonight, guys. >> Thank you. >> Yeah. >> See? Outstanding citizens right there. They're out trying to have a good night. Um so, we had some uh independent witnesses who corroborated the whole story from our victim. Um it seems like she was just standing there and all of a sudden another performer came up and hit her. So, we're going to see what's going to happen. Uh Lieutenant Barr is in there right now with the translator trying to get some more information, but uh from the sounds of it, uh it was unprovoked and she just got hit for nothing, so we'll see what happens. >> I don't want to go into that. >> The woman uh from the gentlemen's club is maybe identifying now the woman who she says attacked her up 100% just said yes. Okay, so so it looks like she has identified the person she says attacked her. >> Cool. So, we got a positive ID 100% that they're out with the right person. Um Is she going to be 10-15? No? >> So, she's a continuous problem and fights with multiple girls. That's why she got fired over this. >> Gotcha. >> No potential for continued violence. They're not domestically related. Yes, we have the independent witness who wants to remain anonymous. >> Mhm. >> But there's no potential for continued violence. She's fired. So, she can't come back in here anyhow. >> Sounds good. >> So, TOT, state attorney's office, let them make the decision on on whether they're going to file a warrant for or not. It's a simple battery. >> Yep. >> Get a picture of her back and we'll call it. >> Awesome. Great. >> Easy peasy lemon squeezy, my guy. >> Lemon squeezy. So, uh what Lieutenant Bar was just explaining >> Yeah, did anyone get you a case number card or anything? >> I'm sorry? >> Did anyone get you a case number card or anything so you know what the case >> What Lieutenant Bar was just explaining is that uh come to find out our victim isn't much of a victim. Uh this is a continuing issue with her and other workers inside there. That's why she was fired tonight. Uh we're going to do an affidavit direct file to the state attorney's office for what happened here. And the state attorney's going to make a decision on whether or not uh she's going to get a warrant out for the simple battery or whatever's going to occur. So, but she's been fired, trespassed from the location. So, there's no potential for further violence. And uh that's essentially how we based our decision. So. Uh something did happen here and it's going to go to the state attorney's office and they're going to make the decision. So, that's it. >> For on the state. >> I don't think anybody has yet. With us? Yeah. Yeah, I took photos. I'm going to submit them. >> Yeah, I have our sign. And I have the pictures and >> You can walk away. I'm >> not talking over you. >> You just did it again. So, you have a good night. She's not happy. Kind of is what it is, so can't just sit here and talk over us when you're asking us questions. >> And a boxing glove like you finna use it, man. Why you freaked out? >> I'm not. No, ain't no way. >> Stop all that. You got the J's on and everything. >> Hey, see y'all please record this? >> Go ahead. Oh, whoa. It's all good. We ain't doing nothing to hurt you. We're just over here to seeing what's going on. Yeah, just making sure you're cool. Yeah, they they ain't nothing at all. Look, everybody threw their trash out. Hey, it's it's open to the public at that point. Yeah, you can do what you got to do. No, yeah, you good, man. I don't want I don't want you to think that that we're harassing you or anything like that. I just I'm just curious. Yeah, I hope everything goes good. I I don't want you to think anything of it, okay? No, dude. No. No, I appreciate that, man. I'm going to kick this right here, all right? You're not using this, right? You not? >> All right, where is the blade? Oh, whoa. No. >> All right, cool. Yeah, probably. Yeah. Perfect. Yeah, it was just sitting right by your feet. >> Oh, well. >> Yeah, no, it's all good. No, I appreciate you if you put everything back to it. A lot of people come out here, they'll just take the trash out and just throw it everywhere, so. >> Yeah, I'm not going to do that. >> No, I I appreciate Yeah, yeah. >> That's an electric bike? >> Yeah. >> How fast does that thing go? >> Uh 27. >> Okay. What's that song about wearing your sunglasses at night? You know that song? Help me out, man. What's the name of the song where they say something about wearing your sunglasses at night? >> I don't know that song. >> You know what I'm talking about, man? All right. Okay. All right, man. Good luck, see you big dog. All right, I hope you find something good, bro. >> I appreciate it, sorry. >> That's it. >> When y'all want this power washer? >> No, sir. We're good.
