akan police responded to a report of an armed robbery where the victim had been repeatedly struck with a pistol what's going on gent in my back parking lot in this back lot here yeah he pulled a gun out on me he was basically fighting for my life he [ __ ] hit me in the head about five times with his pistol it was all bad stole my phone crack me over the back of the head robbed him who who's he to you he's he's nobody my girlfriend pulled up with my grandson in the back lot just got out of daycare first daycare she goes I pulled up there's some guy out there drunk with your neighbor upstairs told me get the [ __ ] out you ugly [ __ ] so I walked out there said dude what are you doing I said you can't well he he meant to reach down pulled out a pistol [ __ ] what kind of car was it a black little black Hundai with dark I don't know it was like dark painted with 30-day tags did it look paint paint bombed yeah yeah how old was the guy he's a young kid young kid but he had a pistol bro and he [ __ ] he by himself yeah well he was with my [ __ ] neighbor which way did which way did the car go he went down this way Northbound like up the up the street but it's [ __ ] car kind of looked like that it's gun jammed man or else probably I'd be sitting there [ __ ] dead right now you probably would have blew my [ __ ] brains out yeah I got a a victim here he was pistol whipped and robbed break he had on blue jean shorts white T-shirt yeah he left Northbound on 16th Street in a uh black paint bombed either a hyand or Honda so you you you were so what I'm Sergeant standard first of all he jumped out the car and punched him first hit him with his gun I didn't know he had a gun on him okay so he pulled out a gun and what hit him with a gun yeah okay um and then what happened after that it start fighting I try to say break it up the clip came out the clip came out the gun dude put it back in the gun I said oh [ __ ] I'm I'm going to get myself shot I try to break it up I said stop it man stop it right like that I went went on the side right I try to say stop it but and then you ended up leaving because you don't want to be part of that yeah iuck want to be shot [ __ ] oh [ __ ] I understand understand all right yeah there's some blood there and I'm sure you guys did you get a plate on that at all no it was a 30-day tag no I did not they didn't know the plate I got his it's added to the call as the nine my victim here saying he was pistol wh with the uh silver pistol no it was BR it was gold bronze I don't know okay I'm just glad it jam cuz dude look [ __ ] he looked so high it looked like he probably would shot me right uh I guess we could go back down here if you want to chill on the steps well so I go out there I say dude who the [ __ ] do you think you are talking to my lady my well [ __ ] escalates he grabbed his pistol well it's a life fight right there dude I fought for my life from there on out I grabbed the gun he opened the door I fell down we fought [ __ ] [ __ ] for everything I had luckily his gun jammed okay hly think he would he was dude he had the gun in my he would have shot he [ __ ] hit me five times over the back of the head he would have shot me were you guys wrestling for the gun okay um yeah I didn't H how did you break away did he like just get back like I choked the [ __ ] out of him and I pushed I tried he the P the bullets fell out of his gun and I tried pushing it off to underneath the car beating the [ __ ] out of me over the top of the head over my head with his gun literally beating the [ __ ] out of me I've been hit by grown men and that was after the mag fell out was striking you I'm fighting for my life I'm not letting him get the magazine cuz I know what he's about to do he's about to ready to shoot me with the [ __ ] I'm on video then he says let me up let me up and I said no I'm not letting you up I don't know uh any of the bullets falling apart want you know no he he grabbed him oh yeah his gun jammed where's the girl d o n n i e hey Donnie could you look straight for me yeah just like that buddy okay thank you and then your hands I know your hands got scuffed trying to grab get rid of birthday 82369 well that's perfect okay you want to take down go with that would probably be cheaper to get a ride or that's also if you don't want to go to that hospital you have to sign a little sign here that says you don't want to go down fine I would just not I don't I don't think I need an ambulance ride to get down there I would definitely get a ride though man BJ Van Pelt the individual believed to be responsible for the incident was subsequently identified and apprehended he was then booked into the Summit County Jail on charges of aggravated robbery and felonious assault with a weapon he is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law
