I'm going to shoot you straight if you shoot me straight. Okay, I know you got weed in the car. It reeks. Okay, I don't need my K9. He's here, but I don't need him here because it's literally burning weed out of your car. Okay, so look, be straight with me. If you if you're cool and you ain't got a whole lot going on in here, I'm gonna be cool with you and you're gonna get out of here. But if you lie to me, it's gonna be a big deal. Okay. You flew from Florida to Cali, picked up a rental. These rentals don't come smelling like weed. So, I know you got weed in the car. Is it just a little bit of personal use or you got a bunch? Cuz I'm about to look. I mean, it's what what is considered personal use? Is it less than a pound or more than a pound? It's probably more than a pound is but it's a personal. How How much more than a pound? Probably like a pound and a half. Okay. For right now, I'm going to put you in handcuffs till I get it and we'll see how much it is. Okay. See right here the at least a pound, but we're going to look at it. The female The female's pregnant. Look, here's what I'm going to do. I'm going advise you your eyes. It doesn't mean you're going to jail necessarily. This is what we do for a living, okay? We when we're out here writing tickets and stuff, we look for people doing criminal stuff, okay? If you got dope in the car, if you don't have a lot, we may be able to work. We're going to look at it, okay? Let me advise you of your rights and I'm going to put you in my car. That doesn't mean you're going to jail, okay? And you can read along with me if you want. Okay? You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be to get you into court of law. You have the right to talk to a lawyer and have him or her present with you while you're being questioned. If you cannot afford to hire a lawyer, one will be appointed to you, represent you before any questioning if you wish. You can decide at any time to exercise these rights and not answer any questions or make any statements. Do you understand each of these rights I've explained to you? Having these rights in mind, do you wish to talk to me? I don't need you to talk to me right now, but I need you to say you do understand these. Okay. You have any weapons on you? Is there any guns in the car? I'm going to take your phone out and put it on my hood right here. All right, take a seat in my car real quick. Where's it at in the car? Are you being straight with me on the weight? Cuz you know I'm about to look. tell you it's like a pound and a half. People usually tell me a couple pounds and it's usually like 50. So a regular pedestrian. All right, let me go look. I'll be right. If you cannot afford to hire a lawyer, one will be appointed to represent you for any question if you wish. You can decide at any time to exercise these rights and not answer any questions or make any statement. I don't understand your rights. Okay. All right. Look, you do understand your rights. Okay. Look, I've already talked I guess this is your boyfriend. Yes. Okay. I've already talked to him. Look, I'm not stupid. Y'all flew over to Cali. You come back with a rental that smells like weed. It's common sense. We do this all the time. It's not a big deal. Tell me how many pounds you have. Um I know. I don't know. Like Just estimate. I'm about to search it, but I just want to see if you're being honest with me. No, I know there it's in the back seat right here, but um it's mainly like literally personal use. We don't go We literally come here like maybe like once every 6 months. Okay. All right. Go hang out with him back here. But there's um the three bags. I told him they're actual legitimately dispensary bags right there in the back seat. And then my oil. Is there anything else? Any guns? Anything besides weed? No. Okay. I see my wallet. The wallet is one that I There's a there's a ID in her wallet in the back seat. Okay. Hey, Colton. Um I do I live in Jacksonville. So you're dropping [Applause] We'll do it. Well, uh, I want to run him for sure. I don't know if Matt if we're going to take this back to the troop or not. Whatever Matt says. So, Yeah, that's what we got. I think there's maybe one more bag, but just looking at that, what do you think that's four? It was hot. It doesn't remember. We're all that close. Those are the little thingies. Our I mean, this doesn't really matter. This You got weed. It's all the same. [Applause] Time sleeping. had enough cookies. So, yeah, we um we usually get this large a quantity because we both smoke like that and my family does. We all live together. So, the trooper then explains to the passenger, Morgan McCall, about what's about to happen next. We got to wait till our other unit gets here to put you in his car cuz there's a dog in this one. um you know what's going to like pretty much happen cuz yeah like I'll give you a little bit of information. So this isn't like a whole bunch nowadays but it's still a decent amount. I mean you're bringing I don't know probably 3 to 5 lbs across the country if you total all this crap too, right? Um so we'll reach out to our narcotics investigators and see if they want to talk to y'all or not. If they do, we'll bring you to our troop, which is like 2 miles from here. You just passed it. Um, we'll sit down for a couple hours and talk to detectives. If you choose to work with them, that's between you and them. What happens if, uh, if you choose not to work with them, then usually we'll just take this as evidence and we'll book you straight into jail. And then something, honestly, something like this nowadays that the bond's not going to be too bad. Weeds not a big deal anymore. When you start dealing with pounds, I mean, it's a little more of a big a big deal, but it's not, you know, just the end of the world. Right. You know how much this costs? No, but it doesn't look like it's high quality. Like we live with my family and I told him we all smoke. So just like I said you'd go to Costco and get a bunch of [ __ ] That's It saves money. That's literally So what would you estimate you spend on all this? I don't know. Cuz I don't get nosy and like his money. Yeah. He he pretty much takes care of me ever since I got pregnant. Like he'll just How far along are you? I am 6 months. Thank god I don't look good. Yeah, you don't. I know. I was like, when am I when will I pop? But last week I was 6 months. This week as of Thursday, I'll be 24 weeks. Um yeah. Only reason why I asked my mom's expecting me home today and she's been taking care of my animals while she's on vacation. I let him know I understand. I pretty much understand what y'all got to do. Yeah. And you're cuffed in the front because you are pregnant. So, thank you. That's our policy. How old are you? I am 24. I'll be five on hopefully my partner get here pretty quick. So, we have to stand out here and start training. He's only a few miles down the road, so it should be close. Y. So, y'all were really going to just drive across the country with it just laying all in the back seat. I mean, I could see it from whenever I looked in the back window. The green bag that it was in, it was open. I mean, you could see it, right? Most people hide it. I don't think that like y'all thought you were going to drive across the entire because we don't have it was just intense. So, but you thought you were going to go across the entire continent and not get stopped by the police or maybe there was a chance you get stopped by the police. You never know. I I kind of had a feeling cuz my luck is so [ __ ] Um, but man, this morning I woke up so sick, which why he's driving, so I didn't really And you caught us right when I was about to fall asleep, so I'm like, did he get Yeah. Well, he gave me his info. I don't know if it's legit. What's his first and last name? Willie B. What's his birthday? His birthday is Britney McCall out of Florida. Hey, will we will you we stand with her for a second? I'm going to grab my camera, get pictures of this, pictures of them, and then I'll take pictures of the car at the troop if we go to the troop. Willie Bergus and Morgan McCall were both charged with possession with the intent to distribute a schedule one and distribution of a schedule one. Willie was given two years at hard labor, suspended, and placed on two years probation. Morgan McCall charges were no price or dropped. Hey, I got to take a picture of your face for my report, okay? This isn't like for the newspaper. It's just for our part our paperwork. Okay? You got to look at me. All right. Look, we're going to have our supervisor reach out to our detectives. If they want to talk to you, we're going to take you to talk to them. If not, we'll go straight to jail. It's only a few pounds, man. You're not going to catch that bad of a bond. You'll be fine. Just relax. All right. What's happening to her? We're going to figure that out right now. Now, what you told me about her not knowing anything about it was a lie cuz she just told me all about it. So, I know she knows about it. I'm going to let the detectives figure that out and let let them decide. Her being pregnant, we're going to try and work something out, but we'll have to see. Okay. What did she She know she doesn't know anything. She She She specifically told me everything about why y'all went over there, how much y'all usually smoke, how how often y'all go get this weed. Like, she knows all about it, dude. Y you don't just fly to California and just happen to pick up some weed. All right. Look, I'm going to talk to you more. So, let me get this done. Watch your knee. Hey, I got to take a picture of you from our port. Open your eyes.
