cam Zone early in the morning of March 7th 2021 a lacrosse guy named Cody Patrick Peters tried to impress his girlfriend with his driving skills after he had drunk too much the girlfriend claimed she tried to convince Peters to stop driving but he only replied I got this babe not long after that Peters drove past a squad car at 100 miles per hour he continued at high speed for four more blocks before crashing rolling over and finally Landing upright the vehicle also struck a large Landscaping Boulder dislodging it 150 feet from its original location before we continue let me thank code blue for the safety of his girlfriend and other Road users that is against Wisconsin's statute section 941.30 which states whoever recklessly endangers another's safety under circumstances which show utter disregard for human life is guilty of a class f f felony during interrogation Peters tried to manipulate the officer by being overly friendly when he realized the officer wasn't Falling For That Trick he refused to do the field sobriety and breathalyzer tests a search warrant was later obtained for a blood alcohol test the result came out as 0.211 what's up man why is there six cars here well because because this was a serious crash really I think it's a it's a serious crash that was that takes six cars I'm not talking to anybody else I'm just talking to you yeah you know C you got that know I did what were you drinking made of buddies I made a mistake with my buddy's house okay and was there some type of like old like altercation between you and your girl girl is that your girlfriend that that is babe I don't want anything no just because he's keeping hands out of pockets man okay is that your girlfriend yeah was there an argument between you guys what I mean what we're told you're driving fast we don't have any alterations against us this is a problem with trying to like trying to fight against me have you ever done one of these before Cody yeah been there a couple foreign at the time of this incident Peters was 19 years old in Wisconsin drivers under 21 years of age are required by law to maintain absolute sobriety and for them driving with any amount of alcohol in their system is illegal Peters was arrested and charged with a felony of first-degree recklessly endangering safety and misdemeanor charges of second offense drunk driving second offense operating with prohibited blood alcohol content and operating after revocation really didn't give me much information she said that they were drinking um at the bowling alley and then they went to a friend's house and hung out there he took the keys he tried to tell her she tried to tell him not to drive but they both got in the car he said she didn't she said he did not say anything to him as they're driving they started driving all over town and she repetitively he's like you need to stop you need to stop and then he just started driving Mach 9. I just got out to get to that noise complaint and then I see this car and I can hear that motor and I bet you it's at least 100. if not faster Campbell and what uh I parked at 2000 Campbell Road so I saw them turn off of State because when the call came out going eastbound 2000 okay I checked my uh MDT because you know how people always get their directions and stuff so I got out whoa so she said that he didn't know that the road turned so they went straight over she says they roll they did something because the back end was just messed up as the front end so she says they rolled and landed landed all they are here I understand there there's three people in the car is that correct there was a third person here when I initially got here yeah okay stopped yeah he's not involved he just saw what happened so he stopped on the other side I don't know how credible his influence he said there was his girlfriend and possibly another girl in the car she never mentioned anyone else that it was just those two I'll double check she's been drinking too she's Cooperative but she really wants to say goodbye to him she's pissed she wants to they live together she wants the key they didn't have an argument though that's the thing she's like we didn't get the fight there's no threats no nothing he just took the keys because he drives himself it's like he wouldn't say anything she's like she said you need to slow down all the only thing he said once was don't worry babe I got this so when I said when I said the radio I thought they would have slowed down because he knew that he wanted to get out of that yeah I didn't know they went straight okay I'll get going on the um I'm just gonna take a mistakes I know well I guess we got the transfer van I'm just gonna start working on the citations well that's all concerning this video before you go check out this video where another 19 year old hit a police vehicle after smoking weed thanks for watching
