Can I help you? >> Can you roll your window down? >> No, sir. Can I help you? What did you pull me over for? >> I'll explain it to you if you can roll your window down. >> No, you're going to answer my questions first. >> You're going to roll your window down or I'm going to open your door. >> You are not going to do that. >> I am. >> No, sir. >> Okay. 224, supervisor en route. Can you roll your window down, ma'am, so I can explain to you why I stopped you? >> You're not going to force your way into my vehicle and then you're going to attack me. >> Can you roll your window down so I can explain to you what happened? No. You're going to do what I tell you. That's not how this works. >> No. Then I'm going to pull my car into a parking spot. >> No, you're not. No. You're not You're not going to go anywhere. >> I'm going to go supervisor request. >> Vehicle taking [clears throat] off right now, Frank. >> All right. >> Well, things just got escalated a little bit. People that we stop don't dictate the sequence of events in a traffic stop. So, when this girl rolls down her window a little bit and I've said forever that people that don't roll down their windows, there's there's seems to be consistently an issue with those people. So, she doesn't want to roll down her window and she doesn't want to do anything that the deputy says and she is trying to dictate the speed, the direction, and what happens during this traffic stop. And that's just not the way it happens. It is just not the way law enforcement works. Um that traffic stop is a seizure per the Fourth Amendment and when you're seized, you do what you're told. That's just the way it is. It is I some people that don't agree with it. There's constitutionalists that say, "Oh, it's not you know, sovereign citizens out there that say that, "Oh, you work for me." Well, kind of that's true, but we still we don't allow people to dictate traffic stops. So, when she says, "I'm going to drive away." she made things exponentially worse. This could have been a simple traffic stop that we never would have watched on the internet, but she had to be the type of person she is.
