while you talk to her can you see if you could get the package what did she steal you're talking about a tablet and your mom's package and if she has a package there and she didn't do anything with it technically she didn't steal it but she took it but she took it and put it in the house that she lives in with her mother okay I can't prove that she her in her intent at this point in time is to deprive her of the property okay if she just says she moved a package that belongs to her mom into the place she lives with her mom even though her attitude and everything else dictates she's probably going to do something else with it the court system will not allow prosecution for her moving a package that belongs to the address of the person she resides with that's that's not going to fly and if she went in here it's trespassing I can't arrest her for trespassing unless I see her trespassing all I can do is give her the warning of the trespassing and then we can go from there and if she trespasses again then I need documentation or some evidence that she's trespassing and then I can try to write a warrant for her and it would be a juvenile complaint affidavit is what it turns into because she's still a juvenile so I can't take her to jail as an adult what time is it now I'm leave minutes minutes and head home okay if you're going to be here with like 45 minutes if I'm finished what I need to do just call back in for standby before you get here that's all what you're going to have to do cuz I'm not going just hang out here for an hour cuz if I have other calls going on somebody else might have to come here as well so I'm not I can't just hang out here for an hour waiting the only thing I ask of you is to see if you could get the package back that's the only thing I juvenile and in the juvenile system all she's going to do it's going to end up costing you money as the parent to put her through the juvenile system and everything else you give it eight days when she becomes an adult and then she does something as an adult she's not your problem anymore right she my whole that's exactly what they told me okay it's pretty much me pressing charges against myself you are 100% and that's why I'm telling you [ __ ] it's not like she's a year away from being an adult she's eight 8 and 1 half days away from being an adult you press charges against her now as a juvenile all you're doing is costing yourself more money to run her through the juvenile system for any kind of Divergence or anything they decide to do to help her and get her squared away all you're going to do is incure the cost of that you wait till she's an adult and then she comes in here and trespasses or commits a burglary in those residents where she comes in and does something else then as an adult it falls on her not you make sense I okay let me go talk to her and I'm going to explain to her that she has no right to this place if she walks inside and does anything she could potentially be charged with trespassing or burglary okay so we're going to we're going to calm the situation down for the night okay the tablet is a shared family tablet so I can't prosecute her for taking it from you you from taking it from her if it's Mom's tablet and it's shared amongst the family we have an issue especially I know Mom you said that you can put her on it as well it's one of those things it's like a weird gray area in the wall that she technically owns it but you are a parent so you can deny access to it but if she takes it from her sister then there's nothing I can
