in April of 2021 police in Fort Myers Florida responded to a call of a woman asleep in the driver's seat of a running car as always the full police report will be down in the description and I'll go over the outcome of the case at the end of the video so I came out and they were knocking on the window there was nothing until they opened it then he woke up [Music] okay how you doing you might turn the car off it's hard to hear you can step out huh you need EMS to check out do you feel good I'm a paramedic firefighter actually okay what are you guys [Music] what's going on We're stopped here in the middle of um I just backed out of this parking spot then I was talking like this one I didn't hear you say it again I just backed out of this parking spot I mean this gentleman I was sorry who is she I was gentleman I was talking too hey wait what he left I was talking to another gentleman he laughed and then he was there okay I I mean it wouldn't matter if he's here or not um so what would you come here for to get a pregnancy girl you get a pregnancy test a pack of cigarettes okay I was confused for a minute okay my name is Kim it's yours yeah Smith yep that's my last name really Kimberly spoke that I never took his last name go ahead thank you you have your driver license yes well you know get back in the car is it in the car grab your purse it should be like this I'm a paramedic firefighter I'm one of you guys I'm on your [ __ ] team okay I didn't say you weren't I saw you dump a drink out before we pulled up what was it I don't drink first of all I saw a cup that you poured out and I saw liquid come out of it you saw liquor come out of my drink liquid like the stuff okay I was just I just get it sorry okay no worries bye you said your last name with Smith no I'm Kimberly Smith I was married to Jim Smith for uh I probably didn't change when I was this way okay are you feeling okay great are you positive absolutely Alba East Fort Myers Alva I was delivering make sure that I know you're good to drive you can participate in them and oh no we think you know have you're on your way okay I just want to determine to make sure you're okay to drive okay just basically like a straight shot home but okay you run versus right yeah okay no worries uh yeah maybe longer the rain are you no I'm gonna go get my car okay and um first give me one second all right hold up keep your hands straight okay look straight at me okay okay thank you foreign all right so the next before we're gonna finish up real quick just two more so you already completed one two more so can I get three first wait I'm almost done the next exercise is called the walking turn okay what I'm gonna have you do is walk down the line and all you have to do is just walk down okay I'm gonna tell you how to do it and from that point what we'll do is I'm gonna show you how to do it and then I want you to demonstrate for me okay that's so good but you're so cute because I wouldn't be [ __ ] with anybody if you are a kid thank you I appreciate it'd be like honest I'm serious I'm like okay so are you comfortable with doing this exercise in your in your shoes or you want to do it barefoot count one ten I want to take nine yeah each step nine steps down and nine steps back down okay did I get it so I'm gonna show you so you're gonna go like this one two three so on so on until you get to your ninth stop imagine this being your ninth step you're gonna take it you're gonna turn just like this take a series of small steps to turn around and you'll take nine steps back down line one two three and she nine okay once you start do not stop if you step off the line get back online and finish where you uh he left off at do you understand the instructions pretty much yes or no yes sir okay perfect all right remember get in position okay it is potato potato no so I have one last exercise okay this exercise is called Wait Almost one last exercise okay it's called the one leg stand pretty simple I'm gonna demonstrate myself okay I'm wearing it that okay we'll see so kick I want you to put your feet together right yes don't lie to me I won't lie to you so keep your your feet together just like this here the hill total time my shoes off for that all right yeah go ahead take the kids off okay go to the hill just like this this is embarrassing and [ __ ] by the way thank you so much I get it so he'll just like this stand just like this heel to heel toe toe feet together okay keep your hands by your side okay right I have to pee do not start do not perform the exercise tell you to start I want you to raise either leg approximately six inches off the ground all right don't start don't start touching you to start okay I'm gonna kick your hands by your side hi thank you I can't do it the other like because I already put all my weight on this femur well if you do it same humor okay well that's fine all right well holding the position I want you to count out loud in the following manner 1001 1002 1003 and so on and so I'll tell you to stop okay you tell me to stop until I fall over no you won't fall over uh do you understand the instructions yes or no yes okay perfect oh [ __ ] all right all right so what do you want me to do again hold my one leg up to hold one leg up just like this I can't stand on this femur because I fractured it so I'm gonna put all the weight on that okay so it's broken so you can stand on your left leg okay so my strongest like okay okay ready okay I have to hold my hands to the side you gotta hold your hands like this I am how did you say to go all right you're done all right so yeah you're gonna put your shoes back on go ahead okay so this is how that's how this is how I wanna explain how you've done so far okay all right and my purse this is a gas station they will not tell me why are you towing it it'll cost you another hundred fifty dollars give me one second I want to read you something I'm a single mom I know what again we will take care of it I've made my kids are gone I'm not drunk but my best friend is Pete Reed Smith and Pete bringsworth says not to agree with you guys okay do you want to talk to me or not yes or no I'm sorry we flashed any questions I mean yes or no pull the hair out of my mouth okay do you want to talk to me yes or no no no okay all right well we're going down to Lee County Jail okay all right your car would be towed to Alligator Towing where you can pick it up okay Kim was charged with one count misdemeanor DUI and booked into jail April 11 2021 the next day she was able to post a thousand dollar Bond and was released from jail a few months later in August of 2021 she played no contest to a lesser misdemeanor charge of willful and wanton reckless driving and was adjudicated guilty she was sentenced to 12 months probation with a suspended license for 12 months ordered to complete DUI school and had to pay about a thousand dollars in fines then in March of 2022 she was arrested for driving on that suspended license and was given a probation violation I don't know why but it took a while and in May she was booked into jail for these charges within a day later the
