Bristol Conneticut on January 12th 2023 Jimmy Shoemaker Gonzalez carjacked a Dodge Durango in Hartford injuring the owner with a knife he later crashed the Durango and stole a Toyota fleeing to Bristol at 12:30 p.m. officers attempted a felony stop but Shoemaker Gonzalez sped off got stuck and ran on foot he entered a Bristol Police Cruiser and when he tried to drive off officer ping fired four rounds striking the vehicle still car 257 [Music] Dr 17 Unit to the drive after the suspect stole the police car he drove recklessly nearly colliding with multiple Vehicles his actions endangered everyone on the road showing a complete disregard for the safety of others this was a critical mistake that officers could not let slide did his he's approaching Route Six he's way ahead of me right [Music] now do not have any lights on [Music] PLS are hit once or twice on the down Brook Street sou South down [Music] Brook South Brook that's someone down there he activated the lights [Music] yeah I need some uh caution tape down here as well Shoemaker Gonzalez's chaotic day came to a brutal end when he crashed into Palma's Diner on Stafford Street after being taken to the hospital tests revealed a blood alcohol content of 021 and the presence of cocaine oxycodone and PCP in his system he was released from the hospital on January 15th 2023 and placed in police custody Shoemaker Gonzalez who had been recently released from jail admitted to using drugs again he claimed he couldn't remember most of the day including why he ended up in Bristol when questioned about the officer who shot him he expressed doubt about the officer's actions and even suggested he might file a lawsuit against the [Music] police in gathersburg Maryland on May 20th 2023 officers responded to a welfare check where they found a lone driver who appeared intoxicated with a gun on his lap as they attempted to prevent him from leaving the suspect put the car in drive and took off sparking a high-risk Pursuit with a firearm in play and impaired judgment this situation had all the makings of a dangerous Showdown I'm with handgun Ram Cruisers and hisi [Music] had helicopter direct requesting helicopter at 5 he tag uh approaching [Music] M while fleeing on Interstate 270 the suspect attempted to change lanes when suddenly something happened that none of the officers expected [Music] crash crash oh bail bail crash crash crash let me see let me see your heads oh he he checked it he checked he checked the suspect lost control and crashed south of Route 28 resulting in a violent Collision the impact ejected the driver from the vehicle and he was pronounced dead at the scene officials later identified him as 37-year-old Lawrence white of Washington DC the crash also involved other vehicles leaving two adults in a separate car injured they were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries good sticks we got in ooto County Colorado on June 20th 2023 Colorado State Patrol Troopers responded to assist Otero County deputies with a suspect fleeing from them along Highway 50 the suspect was reported in a shots fired incident and had caused multiple crashes even attempting head-on collisions with other vehicles all right 379 slowed down speeds of 28 over over tvi successful move don't move don't move don't move you got him vehicle out of the vehicle going I got you troopers were able to tvi the vehicle and successfully contact the suspect however during the arrest the suspect somehow gained access to the front of a fully marked Colorado State Patrol vehicle and fled that was a mistake the Troopers definitely couldn't let happen as it escalated the situation even further and put everyone at greater risk coming up on stop sticks he missed him continuing eastbound the vent units uh one of the Chargers take lead on this we're running out on fuel taking this is that what she said nothing you want me to take this okay switch candy I don't have vehicle where's the keysys in it I don't have a vehicle good sticks good sticks we got up agencies on the scene quickly pursued the suspect in the stolen Patrol vehicle and Troopers deployed Stop Sticks further down Highway 50 after hitting the Stop Sticks the suspect lost control of the vehicle crashing into the side of a stopped semi- Tru parked on the side of the highway the vehicle spun out catching on fire you all right sir you all right yeah just the sure let's get him over here till we get fire any bottles of water or anything that anybody's got in vehicles here the suspect was extricated from the stolen Patrol vehicle and transported to a nearby hospital unfortunately the suspect later succumbed to injuries sustained during the crash thankfully the commercial motor vehicle driver was not injured the suspect was identified as Anthony Alfonso Sanchez III this tragic turn of events highlights the extreme dangers posed by fleeing suspects and the risks faced by law enforcement and the public on February 20th 2024 Trooper Ferris was conducting routine Patrol when he was notified about a stolen truck on the move the truck a blue Chevrolet was flagged by a tag reading camera as it passed through lahi after spotting the truck Ferris attempted to pull it over but the driver had other plans accelerating away in an attempt to flee and the chase was on [Music] [Music] [Music] Jack going again after swerving into oncoming traffic and narrowly avoiding disaster that's when another Trooper took over the pursuit now as the primary unit and tried to execute a pit maneuver to bring the chase to a stop [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] despite several pit maneuver attempts the Troopers couldn't bring the suspect to a stop the high-speed chase stretched on for over 20 minutes with the suspect reaching speeds of over 110 mph troopers were doing everything they could to catch up but the suspect kept pushing ahead then after 20 minutes the suspect lost a tire losing that tire drastically impacted the vehicle's ability to keep going at those speeds giving the Troopers the opening they needed to end the chase as quickly as possible I think going to try to again yourself smoking 65 [Music] [Music] they sticks [Music] Troopers and deputies quickly moved in arresting both the driver and passenger without incident the driver was later identified and confirmed to be unlicensed and he was taken to Nassau County Jail a dangerous Pursuit finally brought to a safe end TI we got 1050 in Manheim at least on April 18th 2023 Rosemont police were alerted to a stolen vehicle by license plate reading technology when an officer spotted the vehicle they attempted a stop but the suspect fled initiating a high-speed Pursuit all he's taking off na black driver with DRS to FL South [Music] [Music] approaching Park last turning right on to Manheim North the suspect was driving recklessly at high speeds dangerously weaving between vehicles and running red lights that would ultimately prove to be his big mistake oh TI we got 1050 Florence in Manheim at least three vehicles left out and we have the ascending vehicle on it top stand by for further we're going to the chase didn't last long as the suspect exited the highway and caused a multi-vehicle collision at Manheim Road in Lawrence Schiller Park and Chicago Fire Departments responded to the scene rushing the suspect to a local hospital for treatment the driver was later identified by Illinois State Police what do you think what punishment this suspect deserved can we can the woman refused to acknowledge that she was intoxicated and began playing games with the officer avoiding direct answers and stalling the encounter this is so crazy because this has never happened to me and I feel like just because I'm a Latina it's happening to me I know I'm I'm out here you're inside the car you he clearly says you're drunk as hell those were his words those were his words this 49-year-old driver decided to escalate things even further after blowing through a stop sign and crashing into another car he threatened the other driver and then took off when police arrived the the car and crashed into a fence officers quickly moved in and took him into custody now he's facing a long list of charges including assault hit and run eluding and driving with a suspended license instead of complying he threw the truck into drive and sped off initiating a [Music] [Music] Pursuit all right he's uh 1050 at mcmarion Main the old man caused absolute Chaos on the road before finally coming to a stop where off officers quickly took him into custody this drunk driver just dug himself into an even deeper hole now he's facing serious consequences for his Reckless actions on January 16th 2025 Trooper stopped a driver for a traffic violation while speaking with the operator Trooper observed Trooper Tyler ryles on the eastbound side attempting to stop a black sedan the black sedan was apparently not stopping or yielding to Trooper rs's emergency lights and siren Trooper responded to assist Trooper RI and the suspect decided to come to a stop but as soon as the trooper approached his vehicle he fled once again reigniting the pursuit run down 630 running down 630 right h get don't get ramp go go toward children Trooper followed the suspect on foot and was able to keep him in sight while other Troopers responded the suspect ran East along the side of Interstate Under the woodro Street overpass he fled on foot along the shoulder and then turned South toward the entrance ramp he ran South across the entrance ramp and Into the Woods here you better stop her I'll shoot you you hear me put your hands up get your hands up roll over fly again what they professionalism of Arkansas state troopers the suspect was identified as Demario D Robinson a search of the vehicle was conducted and the passenger door was still open from when Robinson fled in the right front floorboard Troopers found a plastic baggie containing a green leafy substance Trooper RS stated that the suspect had been throwing suspected controlled substances from the vehicle before coming to a stop Trooper rils transported Robinson to baptist Little Rock for a medical evaluation after being cleared he was booked into the palaski county jail on multiple charges including felony fleeing possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance DWI and tampering with evidence 17th in what your 17th in Atlantic Virginia Beach police officers were alerted about a stolen SUV and after searching the area they spotted a vehicle matching the description according to the victim the suspect was likely intoxicated as officers pursued the vehicle they quickly noticed it was already 7045 looks to be a blackmail driver passing 17th Street pass 17th Street 17th in what you're 17th in Atlantic 18 Vehicles the suspect came to a stop and bailed out of the vehicle but was quick apprehended and arrested he was taken into custody the suspect faced list of several charges including Grand Theft Auto DUI felony fleeing and alluding reckless driving and resisting arrest on April 14th 2023 a man decided to give his family a close-up view of a police chase it all started in Oak Brook when Oakbrook and Villa Park Police spotted a GMC Acadia SUV the driver ran multiple stop signs and traffic signals and after the trooper activated lights and Sirens the driver failed to stop initiating a Pursuit not M need AOL bus medic needed not only did the driver run multiple stop signs and traffic signals but he also sideswiped several Vehicles including a school bus thankfully there were no kids on board and nobody was injured this mad man's reign of chaos finally came to an end when he rear ended a car heading east Charles Road causing both vehicles to come to a stop [Music] police immediately apprehended three adults and ensured the children who were dragged into this mess by the offenders only two of the adults were charged and everyone was checked out at local hospitals thankfully no major injuries were reported for
